Through specific cases, this article examines the causes and measures to overcome cultural divergences most frequently encountered by Koreans living in Vietnam and Korean-contacting Vietnamese in terms of mode of communication, mode of living and mode of doing business. Historical reality proves that Vietnam and Korea have a lot in common in history, culture and society, due to the influence from the Chinese culture on both countries. However, each country has its own acculturation, hence, there exist, apart from the normal dissimilarities, differences between the two countries especially in natural environment andpolitical systems. As a result, in Vietnam, Koreans and Vietnamese have met with quite a lot of divergences in communication, business and living activities. In order to overcome these cultural divergences, in addition to the ceaseless efforts made by Koreans in Vietnam and Korean-contacting Vietnamese, there should be concern, assistance as well as cooperation between the people and the authorities of the two countries. We should draw lessons from the groundless or trivial affairs which, springing from the Chinese people's dislike for Koreans, have been blown up and disseminated on the internet; where by we are to reconsider the relationship between Koreans and Vietnamese. What is more, Korea still feels historically ashamed to have sent nearly 350,000 soldiers to the wa rin Vietnam for economic purposes in the past. As our predecessors brought about that historic shame to get bread for our fatherland in exchange, our generation today should approach Vietnam out of a sense of responsibility towards history. Having experienced a period of economic difficulties, Vietnam innovated and started its open-door policy in 1987. However, this event should not be regarded as the reason for us to approach Vietnam with only one rigid economic principle.
Due to the 4th Industrial Revolution announced at the Davos Forum, the World Economic Forum, in 2016, industrial trends around the world are changing rapidly and intelligently. Among them, the digital twin is drawing attention from all industries as a groundbreaking technology that reduces unnecessary costs and trial and error by implementing real objects, systems, and environments in the same way in the real virtual world and using them to perform simulation analysis. In particular, there is a lot of interest in the application of digital twin technology in solving ports safety and efficiency challenges at once. However, there is a lack of in-depth research for the application of digital twin technology in the port, and in particular, there is a lack of research on measurable data for the implementation of the digital twin in ports. The purpose of this study was to increase granularity and connectivity through measurable data investigation for the application of digital twin technology at container ports. Based on the study results, data factors for container port application were classified into crane data, operational data, physical data, and transportation data, and factor composition, correlation with factors, and fitness were confirmed through confirmatory factor analysis.

In order to evaluate the performance of TAS applied to the hybrid vehicle of the soft belt driven, acceleration performance and fuel consumption performance is to be superior to the existing vehicle. The key components of belt driven TAS(Torque Assist System), such as the engine, the motor and the battery, The key components of the driven belt TAS, such as the engine, the motor, and the battery, have a significant impact on fuel consumption performance of the vehicle. Therefore, in order to improve the efficiency at the point of view based on the overall system, the study of the power distribution algorithm for controlling the main source powers is necessary. In this paper, we propose the power distribution algorithm, applied the homogeneous analysis method in terms of fuel equivalent, for minimizing the fuel consumption. We have confirmed that the proposed algorithm is contribute to improving the fuel consumption performance satisfied the constraints considering the vehicle status information and the required power through the control parameters to minimize the fuel consumption of the engine. The optimization process of the proposed driving strategy can reduce the trial and error in the research and development process and monitor the characteristics of the control parameter quickly and accurately. Therefore, it can be utilized as a way to derive the operational strategy to minimize the fuel consumption.

In this study, field pull-out test and 3-D FEM analysis have been performed for examining and reflecting the behavior of steel pipe nailing installed foldable wedge. Field pull-out test was performed under various conditions. As a result, the steel pipe nailing installed foldable wedge has an effect of pull-out resistance increased about 30% in comparison with non-wedge type steel pipe nailing. Through back analysis in 3-D FEM for behavior of non-wedge type steel pipe nailing, friction characteristics between nail to soil was analyzed and obtained first consistent with field pull-out behavior. Then, the frictional characteristic was used for analyzing the behavior of the steel pipe nailing installed foldable wedge. The result was compared with the test results. Consequently, friction coefficient (${\mu}$) of about 1.2 between grout to soil leads to good agreement with analysis results and test results. And a limited pull-out resistance, $$T_L{\sim_=}32$$ tonf is similar to field pull-out test result which is improved about 33% in comparison with non-wedge type steel pipe nailing's $$T_L{\sim_=}24$$ tonf.

These days, almost every industry's production line has become automatic and this phenomenon brought a lot of benefits such as increase in productivity and economical effect, assurance in industrial safety, better quality and compatibility. However, unlike industrial production line, in construction industry, automation has number of barriers like uncertainty incidents and intellectual judgment to make ability to make solution out of it. Therefore construction industry is still demanding use of construction machine through labor. Due to this matter operational labor in construction industry is aging and fading. To solve these problem, in developed nations like Europe, US or Japan are keep researching for the automation in construction and road pavement, strengthening and some other simple operations have been worked through automation but in civil engineering site, automation research is still low despite of its importance in constructional site. For automating civil engineering operation, effective operational plan have to be set by analyzing ground information acquainted. If skillful worker apply heuristics, trial & error can be reduced with increased safety and the effective work plan can be established. Hence, this research will introduce Intellectual Task Planning System for Intelligent Excavating System's effective work plan and heuristics applied in each steps.

This study investigates why Korean English speakers misunderstand the English article system, which article Korean EFL learners use more accurately in their English writings, and implications for English writing instruction from Korean EFL learners' utterances. There have been numerous studies on the acquisition of English article system by non-native English speakers. Those studies agree that acquiring English articles is difficult for learners of English as a second language. As a result, in this study, many English learners use the definite and indefinite articles a/an. Many wrote articles from their writings, and occasionally, errors of excessive use of definite articles occurred. Through this, this paper investigates how a Korean English learner whose native language has no articles chooses the English article system in speech. It is based on the elicited production of the Korean English learner and suggests some implications for teaching English writing in the classroom. When English instructors teach Korean English learners to write English, it is more important than anything else to practice the correct usage of definite articles or indefinite articles.
This study presents the process and outcomes of developing mathematical-informatics linkage·convergence class materials, based on previous research findings that indicate a lack of such materials in high schools despite the increasing need for development of interdisciplinary linkage·convergence class materials In particular, this research provides insights into the discussions of six teachers who participated in the same professional learning community program, aiming to create materials that are suitable for linkage·convergence class materials and highly practical for classroom implementation. Following the material development process, a theme-based design model was applied to create the materials. In alignment with prior research and consensus among teacher learning community members, mathematics and informatics teachers developed instructional materials that can be utilized together during a 100-minute block lesson. The developed materials utilize societal issue contexts to establish links between the two subjects, enabling students to engage in problem-solving through mathematical modeling and coding. To increase the validity and practicality of the developed resources during their field application, CVR verification was conducted involving field teachers. Incorporating the results of the CVR verification, the finalized instructional materials were presented in the form of a teaching guide. Furthermore, we aimed to provide insights into the trial-and-error experiences and deliberations of the developers throughout the material development process, with the intention of offering valuable information that can serve as a foundation for conducting related research by field researchers. These research findings hold value as empirical evidence that can explore the applicability of teaching material development models in fields. The accumulation of such materials is expected to facilitate a cyclical relationship between theoretical teaching models and practical classroom applications.

In the fourth industrial-revolution era, the construction industry is transitioning from traditional methods to digital processes. This shift has been challenging owing to the industry's employment of diverse processes and extensive human resources, leading to a gradual adoption of digital technologies through trial and error. One critical area of focus is the safety management at construction sites, which is undergoing significant research and efforts towards digitization and automation. Despite these initiatives, recent statistics indicate a persistent occurrence of accidents and fatalities in construction sites. To address this issue, this study utilizes large-scale language-model artificial intelligence to analyze big data from a construction safety-management information network. The findings are integrated into on-site models, which incorporate real-time updates from detailed design models and are enriched with location information and spatial characteristics, for enhanced safety management. This research aims to develop a big-data-driven safety-management platform to bolster facility and worker safety by digitizing construction-site safety data. This platform can help prevent construction accidents and provide effective education for safety practices.
ESG management refers to corporate management that takes into account environmental, social, and governance factors, while digital transformation goes beyond the mere automation or digitization of existing tasks to drive an innovative change in the essence of work and the way value is created. Therefore, digital transformation can help companies achieve ESG goals and implement sustainable business practices, establishing a complementary relationship between digital transformation and ESG management for corporate sustainability and growth. This relationship maximizes the synergy of integrating digital transformation with ESG management, enabling companies to utilize resources efficiently and prevent redundant investments, ultimately enhancing sustainable management performance. In this study, we propose the simultaneous promotion of business process reengineering (BPR), in which both digital transformation and ESG management are integrated. This is because the collection, analysis, and decision-making processes related to various data for promoting ESG management must be organically integrated with digital transformation technologies. Therefore, we analyzed each ESG management objective presented in the K-ESG guidelines and identified the corresponding digital transformation technologies through expert interviews and a review of prior research. The K-ESG guidelines serve as a useful ESG diagnostic system that enables companies to identify improvement tasks and manage performance based on goals through self-assessment of ESG levels. By developing a model based on the K-ESG guidelines for the integrated promotion of digital transformation and ESG management, companies can simultaneously improve ESG performance and drive digital innovation, reducing redundant investments and trial-and-error while utilizing diverse resources efficiently. This study provides practical and academic implications by developing a concrete and actionable new research model for researchers and businesses.
Background: This study aims to examine changes in fraudulent claim counts and total reimbursements before and after enhancements in counterfeit claim controls and monitoring of provider claim patterns under the "Proactive self-audit pilot program of fraudulent claims." Methods: This study used the claims data and hospital information (July 2021-February 2022) of the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. The data was collected from 1,129 hospitals assigned to the pilot program, selected from the providers who filed a claim for reimbursement for intravenous injections. Paired and independent t-tests, along with regression analysis, were utilized to analyze changing patterns and factors influencing claim behaviors. Results: This program led to a reduction in the number of fraudulent claims and the total amount of reimbursements across all levels of hospitals in the experimental groups (except for physicians below 40 years old). In the control group, general hospitals and hospitals demonstrated some significant decreases based on the duration since opening, while clinics showed significant reductions in specified subjects. Additionally, a notable increase was observed among male physicians over the age of 50 years. Overall, claims and reimbursements significantly declined after the intervention. Furthermore, a positive correlation was found between hospital opening duration and claim numbers, suggesting longer-established hospitals were more likely to file claims. Conclusion: The results indicate that the pilot program successfully encouraged providers to autonomously minimize fraudulent claims. Therefore, it is advised to extend further support, including promotional activities, training, seminars, and continuous monitoring, to nonparticipating hospitals to facilitate independent improvements in their claim practices.
