ADR과 원주의 수익률 결정요인

  • 글로벌화가 진전된 산업의 경우에는 세계산업 내지 세계시장 요인이 현지시장 내지 현지산업 요인보다 더 중요한 ADR과 원주 수익률의 결정요인으로 실증된다. 원주의 움직임에 대해서는 대체로 현지산업, 현지시장 요인, 세계시장 요인, 세계산업 요인순으로 설명력이 높게 나타난 반면, 글로벌화가 진전된 산업의 기업 원주에 대해서는 세계시장 또는 세계산업 요인, 현지시장 또는 현지산업 요인 순으로 설명력이 높다. ADR의 움직임은 대체로 세계시장 요인, 현지산업 요인, 현지시장 요인, 환율 요인, 세계산업 요인, 미국산업 요인, 미국시장 요인 순으로 설명되는 반면, 글로벌화가 진전된 산업의 경우에는 세계시장 또는 세계산업 요인, 환율 요인, 현지산업 요인, 현지시장 요인 순으로 설명력이 높다. 한편, 원주와 ADR간에 수익률과 변동성은 모두 상호관련성이 높고, 원주 수익률을 설명하는 요인과 동일 외국기업의 ADR을 설명하는 요인은 대체로 일치한다.

Suggestions for Archiving Elements for Placeness of Traditional Markets (전통시장의 장소성 기록화를 위한 구성요소 제언)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest specific elements for archiving tangible and intangible materials based on popular, administrative, historical, and cultural functions of traditional markets. Related literature was thus reviewed and the cases of Seoul Yangnyeongsi Story Archive, Gwangju Dae-An Yesul Market Archive Project D, and Daegu Bukseong-Ro Gongu Museum were analyzed. Through the literature review, elements of physical environments, social factors, experience, and people were defined as the placeness of traditional markets. Based on the aforementioned, specific elements to archive traditional markets were thus suggested.

  • 2014년 주택시장은 초반에는 소폭 상승 하락을 거듭하지만 시간이 지나면서 지역별, 규모별 차별화가 심화될 것으로 전망된다. 지역별로는 초과공급이 상대적으로 심한 수도권에 비해 비수도권의 강세현상이 지속될 전망이다. 규모별로는 핵가족화, 고령화 등으로 인하여 가구의 다운사이징 현상이 뚜렷해지면서 중소형 강세, 대형 약세 현상이 지속될 것으로 보인다. 한편 2014년에는 매매시장 불안과 연관된 전세수요가 지속되면서 전세시장 불안도 지속될 가능성이 크다. 여기서는 현대경제연구원의 '2014년 주택시장 전망과 시사점' 보고서를 통해 최근 주택시장 흐름과 주택 시장 주요 수급여건을 분석한 뒤 2014년 주택시장의 특징에 대해 살펴본다.

  • The paper aims to identify how North Korean various economic agents respond to the economic crisis in North Korea, and how these multiple practices are entangled with its spatiality by through the questionnaire survey and in-depth interview targeted at North Korean refugees. The paper argues that it needs to examine the marketization in North Korea in terms of the domesticating recently debated in economic geography. In this perspective, the marketization in North Korea could be explained not as a grand project 'out there' with hegemonic power, but as various economic agents within their space are constantly (re)constructed through everyday life practices. Economic agents' responses to economic crisis, economic rupture, and economic marginalization could be identified in terms of articulation between economic and non-economic factors. More specifically, the paper emphasizes everyday life responses are over-determined by their economic and non-economic factors and its effectiveness is differentiated by their power relations.

  • This study examines internationalization determinant factors, motivation and goal of internalization, market entry methods, timing, region, internalization strategy and access method, internationalization performance and success factors, problems and troubles of internalization, and ultimately suggests internalization strategies for domestic venture companies. The study found that interior factors of internationalization determinant factors are characteristics of new firm and technological capabilities while exterior factors include narrow domestic market, industrialization level, competition level, product life cycle, economy of scale, and global network. Motivation was found to include securing and preoccupying market, cost reduction and efficient production through moving of production base, and the necessity of network formation.

The Effect of Internationalization Speed and Scope on Performance in Korean SMEs (한국 중소기업의 국제화 속도와 범위가 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigates the effect of internationalization speed and scope on the performance in Korean SMEs. Through empirical regression analysis, the following results were identified. both the time-based speed of internationalization and the scope of internationalization by a geographical perspective have significant positive impacts on international performance. This implies that the earlier and wider in global market expansion, the more positive the effect on performance. It was also confirmed that the scope has a significantly greater effect on international performance than speed, which suggests that the geographical national scope is more meaningful for international performance than the initial foreign market entry speed. In addition, the characteristics of the CEO's international experience strengthened the positive relationship between internationalization speed and performance. In conclusion, it means that the internationalization speed and the scope after foreign market entry should be managed in a balanced way to enhance the level of SMEs internationalization.

  • 디지털 콘텐츠(이하 DC) 시장중 대표적으로 출판, 음악, 영화 부분은 불법복제유통 등 시장 비활성화 요인을 지니고 있다. DC 수익배분 선행연구나 양면시장이론 등은 전체 시장규모를 키우는 방안제시가 미약한 편이다. 이를 타파하기 위해 산업계는 가격인하 및 신규 서비스 방식을 도입중이다. 이를 반영하여 본고에서는 양면시장이론에 근거한 광고미디어형 모형의 확산을 제안한다. 거래 중계형 모형에서는 콘텐츠 오픈소스화 및 One-Source Multi-Use 활성화, 디지털화로 인한 비용절감분만큼 가격인하, 렌털 소유가격 차별화 등을 제안하고 있다.

Democratization, Marketization and Media Union Movements in South Korea (한국의 민주화, 시장화와 언론노조운동)

  • This paper attempts to explore the development of the media labor movement and its tasks. Due to the unique characteristics of information delivered by media, the media labor movement under the authoritarian regime was oppressed and regulated by the government. As democratization has proceeded, the state's oppression and regulation of media has been weakened. However, media workers should wage the struggle for union recognition and independence of editorship simultaneously. Because media unions as labor market organizations also seek for job security and wage increase, we need to understand both political dimension and economic dimension of union activities in media industry. While state's control over media has been diminished in the late 1900s, competition in media industry has been intensified. As small number of media corporations monopolizes the media market, the ecology of media has been completely transformed. Unions in media industry should respond to the change of the media ecology and should build solidarity among media workers at the same time. The achievement of the public nature of media as a part of democratization and building union federation of media industry as a response to the marketization of media still remain as an epochal task for media unions. Like the case of "Hope Bus" in the strike in Hanjin Heavy Industrial Corporation, solidarity between citizens and striking workers should be strengthened.
