Hydrodynamic Forces and Maneuvering Characteristics of Ships at Low Advance Speed (저속시 선체에 작용하는 조종유체력 및 조종성능에 관한 연구)

  • Some practical methods have already been proposed for predicting the characteristics of ship manoeuvring motions at relatively high advance speed. However, these methods can hardly be applied to motions of ships in starting, stoppint, backing and slow steaming conditions, even though such extensive motions are of vital importance from a safety point of view particularly in harbour areas. The method presented here aims at predicting the characteristics of ship manoeuvring at low advance speed, which covers starting, stopping, backing and slow steaming conditions. The force mathematical models at large angles of incidence to the hull as well as under the tilde range of propeller operations are formulated. Simulations of various manoeuvres at low advance speed are carried out for two types of merchant ship, i.e. a LNGC and a VLCC. Comparisons between simulations and corresponding full-scale measurements or free-running model tests provide a first verification of the proposed mathematical models.

Precise Sweep Volume Computation Accelerated by GPU (GPU 가속을 이용한 정밀밀한 스웹 볼륨 경계 계산)

  • We present a robust GPU algorithm constructing a sweep volume boundary for a triangular mesh model. Sweeping geometric entities of a triangular mesh object is first approximated to a set of triangles, the envelope of which becomes the outer boundary of the sweep volume. We find the envelope by computing the arrangement of the triangle set and extracting its outmost boundary. To ensure robustness of the algorithm, we adopt random perturbation of sweep vertices and the interval arithmetic using multi-level precisions. The algorithm is implemented to perform most computation on GPU, and as a result it runs two orders of magnitude faster than other algorithms.

  • This paper describes the improvement of passenger's comfort by analyzing the debasement of early adapted ATO control pattern. First we give the characteristics of ATO controller, principle of running control, distance & velocity calculation methods used mainly in INCHEON subway UNE 1 and then analyze the ATO control pattern. For early control pattern, we reviewed it in view of passenger's comfort while keeping the track conditions. In order to achieve the improvement of passenger's comfort we propose the modification of early ATO control pattern based on JERX characteristics. Simulation and application test are performed to prove the effectiveness of modified ATO control pattern.

  • This paper presents the methodolog~- to improve the computatIon efficiency of the simulation by developing the concept of the dynamic preservatIon and reurilization of the state transitions. The computation COst is emormous for the simulation of hardware described in hardware description languages including VHDL Analyzing the process of simulation precisely, we have found that the number of the pattems for the state transition is limited if the sizes of hardware modules are determined properly. The pattems are preserved dynamically when they appeared first, and are utilized in later simulation in order to reduce the simulation costs. In this study, the efficiency of the present method was verified using case studies for the simulation.

  • This research was conducted for the normal adults and kids to know the abdominal muscle activities by stimulating Vojta's brust zone. It was conducted for 10 adults who were average 21.5 years old and 10 kids who were 12.1 years old and did it once. We used EMG to know the abdorminal muscle activities and we chose the research method 'independent t test'. Only two adults and kids among subjects have reactions and the others have no reactions. This research reveals that hypothesis, Vojta's brust zone stimulates abdominal activities, didn't coincide completely but we will have more exact results by researching other subjects and choosing proficient method several months, not once.

  • This paper presents the quasi-static mooring analysis model for a vessel moored at the quay. The results of this analysis will aid the designer in determining the mooring configuration for the surface vessels subjected to wind, current and wave forces. And it will also help him in selecting the equipment for the fixed mooring system. The cumulative elastic behavior of the mooring lines invokes a complicated nonlinear problem since the mooring lines are relatively short and hang in air as noncoplanar configurations. This nonlinear mooring problem is solved in this paper by the load increment technique in which the external load is increased step by step taking all sources of nonlinearity into account.

사학연금의 기준소득월액 상·하한 기준 개선방안 연구

  • 본 연구의 목적은 기준소득월액 상·하한 기준을 체계적이고 심도 있게 분석하여 실효성 있는 개선방안을 제시하는데 있다. 기준소득월액 하한 관련 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현행 사학연금 기준소득월액 하한 수준은 낮은 편이다. 둘째, 기준소득월액 하한은 학교급별, 직능별로 5개의 하한선으로 구분하여 차등화하고 있어 사학연금 가입자간 부담금 및 급여의 형평성 문제가 발생하고 있다. 셋째, 세분화된 하한선으로 인해 사학연금 가입자들의 수용성(수요자) 측면의 문제와 불필요한 행정비용이 발생한다. 넷째, 하한의 연동방식이 부재하다. 또한 기준소득월액 상한 관련 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기준소득월액 상한 기준 중 퇴직연금 등 연금급여 산정 시의 수준은 비교적 적절한 것으로 보이나, 일시금 산정 시의 수준은 다소 높은 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 기준소득월액 상한은 연금급여 산정 시와 일시금 산정 시 기준으로 이원화 되어 있고, 일시금 산정 시 기준은 다시 교원과 직원으로 구분되어 있어 가입자간 부담금 및 급여의 형평성 문제, 가입자의 수용성 문제 및 행정적 비효율성 문제가 존재한다. 셋째, 상한의 연동방식 변경에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현행 하한선의 일원화 및 국공립 유치원·초·중·고 교사 1호봉인 165만 6천원까지 단계적으로 상향조정하는 방안, 현행 차등화된 하한선의 일원화와 하한 수준의 인상을 별도로 추진하기 보다는 동시에 추진하는 방안의 필요성, 이원화되어 있는 상한기준을 통합하여 일원화하는 방안의 필요성, 상한 및 하한의 연동방식으로 사학연금 전체 가입자 평균기준소득월액 변동률을 고려하는 방안 등을 제시하였다.

  • Particle and noise are effectively used to implement unspecific VFX like an explosion, magic. Particle can create freely but, The more usage, the higher CPU/GPU usage. This paper using polygon mesh that is hard to change but consumes fixed resources to overcome the demerit of particle and reduce CPU/GPU usage. Also, using shader, apply noise texture that is suitable unspecific pattern to vertex and surface texture mapping of polygon mesh for implement VFX in unity. As a result of experiment, shader applied sphere polygon mesh show 2~4ms CPU, 1~2ms GPU usage in profiler. Also It has been shown that shader can be used to implement unspecific VFX.

  • The trend of increasing traffic problems due to the explosion in traffic volume in Sejong City has reached a level that cannot be solved by investment in facility infrastructure, so it is essential to establish an intelligent traffic environment based on data. By benchmarking similar cases in the domestic and overseas, and analyzing the traffic information of Sejong City, we propose a plan to provide parking information using Intelligent CCTV, a smart traffic signal control system, and a safe drop zone. It is expected that this study will a basis for establishing policies of the Sejong City traffic safety strategy in the future.

  • This study presented a framework for re-conceptualized data literacy that consists of three domains-knowledge, skills, and contexts- and elements that are emphasized by each domain. In addition to the existing concept of data literacy that mainly emphasized the skills to handle data, the context domain of data was considered including the elements of scope, time, and value orientation. Based on the re-conceptualized data literacy, it is expected to be usable as reference material in the development of curriculum and educational programs in the fields of informatization, manpower training, and administration.
