Interactive Picture Navigation Using an Ambient Display (앰비언트 디스플레이를 이용한 인터랙티브 사진 네비게이션)

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경으로 변화됨에 따라 사용자의 묵시적인 행위에 따라 반응하면서도 주의를 지나치게 집중시키지 않는 다양한 디스플레이에 대한 요구가 증가되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 액자형 앰비언트 디스플레이 시스템을 이용하여 사용자의 위치에 따라 사진을 내비게이션 하는 방법을 제안한다. RFID 센서와 초음파 센서를 이용하여 사용자 신원 및 디스플레이와의 접근거리를 인식하고, 사용자와 디스플레이의 근접도에 따라 보여 질 영상과 인터페이스의 상세도 레벨을 자동으로 정하게 된다. 사용자가 디스플레이로부터 아주 멀리 있는 경우에는 주의를 집중시키지 않도록 단순한 그림 액자의 기능을 제공한다. 사용자가 인터랙션 가능한 영역으로 진입하면 사용자와 관련된 사진을 보여주고, 사용자의 위치에 따라 TIP(Tour Into the Picture) 방법을 이용하여 사진을 3 차원 내비게이션 할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 터치 스크린을 이용한 메뉴의 직접적인 조작과 공중 마우스를 이용한 원격 메뉴 조작 또한 가능하도록 하였다. 뿐만 아니라 댁내의 응급 상황 정보 등을 전달 할 수 있도록 디스플레이 프레임 주위를 LED 를 이용하여 반짝일 수 있도록 설계 하였다.

  • This paper describes the development procedure for Tail-Fan system which has the role of anti-torque and yaw control in helicopter. A detailed design of Tail-Fan system was done and structural analysis also was done. After finishing detailed design, Detailed drawings were generated for manufacture. Through detailed design and manufacture, required techniques were achieved for helicopter development. After validation through performance and stability test, acquired techniques will be applied to development of Korea Multi-role Helicopter(KMH) which will be launched

  • This paper suggests a detailed design of APS(Advanced Planning & Scheduling) system using the DBR (Drum-Buffer-Rope) which is a finite capacity scheduling logic of TOC(Theory of Constraints). Our design is composed of four modules; Network, Buffer, Drum and Subordination. The Network module defines the Product Network which is built from BOM and routings. The Buffer module inserts the Buffers into the Product Network. The Drum module describes detail procedures to create Drum Schedule on the CCR(Capacity Constraint Resource). The Subordination module synchronizes all non-constraints to the constraints by determining the length of Rope. This design documented by ARIS.

  • In construction of RC buildings, the quality of shop and detail drawings is very essential for the quality and safety of buildings, Nevertheless, most of thess works are left to site workers and the requirements about bar detailing such as anchorage and splice have been done without rational design and engineering. The purpose of this research is to develop a computer aided drawing system of rebars for RC buildings. The system is based on an integrated structural design system, that is SDP. SDP manages an engineering database for structural design information. It provides all the information needed to draw rebar drawings. The drawing system consists of three modules, 1) Structural Plan Drawing System, 2) Shop Drawing System, and 3) Detail Drawing System. It is expected that not only the productivity of detail drawing works but also the quality and safety of buildings will be improved using the rebar drawing system developed in this research.

  • 본 연구에서는 H형강을 이용한 초대형 대각가새 접합부의 횡력저항 성능을 유한요소해석을 통해 평가하였다. 해석결과의 타당성을 얻기 위해 기존의 실험 결과와 비교 검증하였으며, 스티프너의 길이 변화를 통해 횡력저항에 좀 더 효율적인 대각가새 접합부 형태를 알아보았다. 수평 스티프너의 길이가 1.0D 이상 확보되었을 때, 각 해석모델은 거의 동일한 구조적 성능을 보였다. 또한, 수직 스티프너의 길이가 증가할수록 각 모델의 성능이 조금씩 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 스마트폰에서 차세일즈 고객관리를 구현한 App으로 고객을 대면할 때 정보를 바로 입력할 수 있고 기존에 구매한 정보를 확인해 볼 수 있다. 먼저 차량의 구매자에 대한 정보를 등록하는 화면을 설계하는데, 고객용 화면으로 바로 입력을 받을 수도 있으며, 관리용으로 고객의 정보를 판매원이 입력하는 창 2가지로 구성하여 탭뷰로 완성하였다. 고객에 대한 정보는 메뉴를 통해 검색화면으로 보고 해당 리스트를 누르면 해당 고객의 정보 화면으로 이동하여 상세정보를 조회할 수 있다. 본 과정은 CRM(Customer Relationship Management)의 다른 고객관리시스템으로 활용가능하며, Field를 추가여 다양하게 확장할 수 있다.

  • Nowadays, Spoken Dialogue System is rapidly growing by investing a lot from researches as well as organizations. One of concrete evidences is that the appearance of commercial systems such as Siri, SVoice, DARPA, CLASSiC, GSearch etc. Moreover, Spoken Dialogue System is widely believed to be the future direction of software development. In Spoken Dialogue System, users interact to software by using their own voice instead of use their hands, keyboard, and mouse. This paper continuously presents our development of the Spoken Dialogue System on News. Particularly, we propose detailed design such as semantic concepts, semantic frames, slots, and so on for applying Hidden Vector State Model into our Spoken Dialogue System for Spoken Language Understanding.

  • A Software Component is a module that is reused among a lot of projects, systems, and companies rather than a single application. Components can be reused in various systems if they provide not only the common functionalities required in many applications but also the diverse aspects to be customized for being suitable for customers' demands. From the development phase, components should be designed and developed considering the variable aspects they have for convenient customization. Easily customized components can be frequently reused in lots of applications. In the literature, there are some modeling and customizing techniques. But they suggested only conceptual or basic methods based on Object-Oriented. And the practical instructions for reusing component were not provided sufficiently. Moreover, there are few techniques that consider the proper variability types components have. Thus, those techniques are not appropriate for applying to black box component completely developed and released. In this paper, we classify variabilities that components have in functional aspect into two categories. The one is logic variability, and the other is workflow variability. For each classified variability, we propose the three kind of modeling techniques, which are selection, plug in and externalization. Also detailed instructions for practical design and application are provided.

  • Lean concept is management philosophy that defines a customer's value and eliminates wasteful and impeditive factors. Management philosophy of Lean in the construction industry is referred to as "Lean Construction". Now this concept has expanded to achieve effective productivity during the design phase. Currently the norm of the domestic design process has been Point-based Design(PBD). It involves selecting a single structurally-feasible design option early and then refining that single design as more information becomes available throughout the design process. This single design is then re-worked until a solution is found that is feasible for all parties. On the contrary, Set-based Design(SBD) is based on lean processes to eliminate waste and improve project productivity. It focuses on keeping the design space as open as long as possible, to allow "subdesign" to advance and not labeling them as secondary in importance. Preserving the maximum number of feasible designs as long as possible reduces the likelihood that rework will be necessary and allows all project participants to utilize their unique expertise to make the project successful. This study proposes that the design methodology of minimizing waste and increasing productivity through SBD of AHP, one of the decision making process so as to compare PBD with SBD and tries to find decision making process and then suggest that application methodology through performs case study of SBD process.

  • Airport GIS is a comprehensive information system to improve security and efficiency of airport. At the initial stage to make it real, the current status of domestic and international regulations along with relevant standardization bas been reviewed. Gimpo Airport becomes a test-bed to get some ideas about how to bring the airport GIS into workflow by building service model and basic design based on current status and demand analysis of the airport. The 6 service models primarily brought into the project are as follows: (1) Local vehicles safety management in airside, (2) Intelligent traffic control between flights and vehicles at main cross points, (3) Dynamic safety management against FOD in airside and breakage on pavement, (4) Special support vehicle management such as deicing remotely controlled, (5) Response and support for fire vehicles and ambulances of signatory institutions in emergency. The upcoming research topic aims at drawing a specific design and building integrated system in the future.
