Feminism on the theme of gender equality is emerging as an important issue in the overall Korean culture. Feminism is not only a level of claiming or advocating women's rights, but an essential subject of gaze and thought, not a distorted, artificially portrayed image of women distorted or typified in a story created by men in the past It is a film that explores the problem of the individual's life in society fundamentally. Jun Koeun's movie' 'micro-habitat'(2018) 'expresses a feminist theme that shows a strong self - selection and transcendental thinking in male - oriented stereotypes and inequal social structure. The film, which focuses on the public insight into society and the enhancement of the ideal human being from the viewpoint that the public film should lead the educated enlightenment character that raises the broad insight into the world and lead the mature social culture, I think it will play a big role.

There has been not the research on the reason of success based on the characteristic of narrative and characters of , I defined the major characteristic of this genre as family animation, and aimed at researching strategic character and narrative. The characteristics of each characters are identified, and compared with other animation, soap opera, and sitcom. The portion that characters participated in the narrative was analyzed, and the relationship between the point and viewers was also researched in the specific episodes. 1) The characters against the ideal ones function to satirize the fixed idea pursued by the mass, and stimulate the viewers' desire. 2) All the characters are protagonist and sometimes antagonist, or advisor. The circulating position expands the target of viewers, and decreases the cultural discount. 3) It produces a couple of layered narrative, then children, teenagers, and adults enjoy the each different depth of the narrative, resulted in the target expansion. Considering on the limit of theme and target in Korean animation, I expect the findings above will enable to produce more valuable and consistent contents. Later, characters in the Korean family animation is to be researched and the expandability and sustainability would be ensured.

The purpose of this study is to conceptualize the changing aspects of human freedom of observation and viewing as the visual media evolves from film to 3D stereoscopic film and VR. The purpose of this study is to conceptualize the aspect of freedom and viewing aspect from the viewpoint of genealogy. In addition, I will identify the media aesthetic characteristics of VR and identify the identity and ontology of VR. Media has evolved around the most artificial sense of human being. There is a third visual space called screen at the center of all the reproduction devices centering on visual media such as painting, film, television, and computer. In particular, movies, television, and video screens, which are media that reproduce moving images, pursue perfect fantasy and visual satisfaction while controlling the movement of the audience. A mobilized virtual gaze was secured on the assumption of the floating nature of the so-called viewers. The audience sees a cinematic illusion with a view while seated in a fixed seat in a floating posture. They accept passive, passive, and passively without a doubt the fantasy world beyond the screen. But with the advent of digital paradigm, the evolution of visual media creates a big change in the tradition of reproduction media. 3D stereoscopic film predicted the extinction of the fourth wall, the fourth wall. The audience is no longer sitting in a fixed seat and only staring at the front. The Z-axis appearance of the 3D stereoscopic image reorganizes the space of the story. The viewer's gaze also extends from 'front' to 'top, bottom, left, right' and even 'front and back'. It also transforms the passive audience into an active, interactive, and experiential subject by placing viewers between images. Going one step further, the visual media, which entered the VR era, give freedom to the body of the captive audience. VR secures the possibility of movement of visitors and simultaneously coexists with virtual space and physical space. Therefore, the audience of the VR contents acquires an integrated identity on the premise of participation and movement. It is not a so-called representation but a perfection of the aesthetic system by reconstructing the space of fantasy while inheriting the simulation tradition of the screen.

This study analysed the narrative of and , two history documentary broadcasted on KBS, in terms of story-telling and discourse. And it also examined whether TV as mass media could provide an alternative interpretation against the dominant historical awareness. As a result, both programmes showed limitations on representing subversive point of view to the dominant ideology. At the story-telling level, firstly, they represented in a way of male-hero narrative though they were describing the history of woman, and while representing woman as a public figure they eliminated her feminity and individuality. Secondly, before evaluating woman as a historic figure they previously appreciated her appearance in a male-point of view. Thirdly, although they were telling the story of woman in a political view, they focused on love triangle, therefore failed to make her as a public figure. The discourses of both programmes were anchoring the existing historical interpretation instead of offering an alternative historical imagination. The narrator who were telling history at the studio in a omniscient viewpoint took a role as a meaning definer, placed at the highest rank in the hierarchy of discourse structure. Especially in , the dramatized images to cover lack of visual data helped anchor the patriarchal narrative and reduced the possibility of subversive interpretation on historic figure.

The era of autonomous vehicles, which drive themselves and in whose operation the driver does not intervene, is fast approaching. The safety of autonomous vehicles can be guaranteed only if they recognize the road infrastructure. However, the road infrastructure consists of road safety facilities, traffic operation systems, and cross-sectional concerns, which include a variety of components, such as types, shapes, and sizes. Therefore, it is necessary to prioritize the road information. This study was conducted to select the priority with which the road infrastructure attributes should be acquired using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. The road infrastructure attributes were categorized into 2 levels, levels 1 and 2, which consisted of 3 and 26 types of attributes, respectively. As a result of the AHP analysis, it was found that the highest priorities of the road infrastructure are the road safety facilities, traffic operation systems and cross sectional concerns. Also, in level-2, the priorities of the safety barriers (road safety facilities), traffic signals (traffic operation systems), and the median (cross sectional) are the highest. Also, this study provides application examples of road infrastructure extraction with the Point Cloud. The results are expected to support the recognition of technology for autonomous vehicles.

Artists such as Duchamp and Balla tried to portray moving objects on static canvases by superimposing snapshots of moving objects. Previously, our group showed the influence of prior experience on brain responses within a motion-sensitive area MT+ to abstr act paintings with or without implied motion. In the present study, we went further to investigate whether the differential MT+activation between observers is originated from differential eye movement patterns. Prior experience was defined operationally with major in art. In addition, we examined whether perceiver's awareness of artist's intention concerning the implied motion, as well as expertise in art, affects the way he/she views the artwork. Results showed that the number and the duration of fixation on the abstract paintings tended to differ between participants based on art major. The awareness of artist's intention was not related to such differences. In contrast, observers' awareness of artist's intention of implying motion affected eye movement patterns in specific regions of the abstract paintings where the motion was portrayed. In other words, observers with awareness focused more on the parts of paintings portraying motion and moved their eyes in the direction corresponding to the direction of moving objects than observers without awareness. Expertise was not related to such specific eye movement patterns. The present study implies that art expertise and awareness of artist's intention play differential roles in observers' perception of paintings with implied motion. Namely, it suggests that expertise is related to the overall perception of paintings, while awareness of implied motion is related to perception of the specific spatial information in those paintings.

KOorea Multi-purpose SATellite(KOMPSAT)-5 will be launched at 550km altitude in 2010. Accurate satellite position(20 cm) and velocity(0.03 cm/s) are required to treat highly precise Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) image processing. Ionosphere delay was eliminated using dual frequency GPS data and double differenced GPS measurement removed common clock errors of both GPS satellites and receiver. SAC-C carrier phase data with 0.1 Hz sampling rate was used to achieve precise orbit determination(POD) with ETRI GNSS Precise Orbit Determination(EGPOD) software, which was developed by ETRI. Dynamic model approach was used and satellite's position, velocity, and the coefficients of solar radiation pressure and drag were adjusted once per arc using Batch Least Square Estimator(BLSE) filter. Empirical accelerations for sinusoidal radial, along-track, and cross track terms were also estimated once per revolution for unmodeled dynamics. Additionally piece-wise constant acceleration for cross-track direction was estimated once per arc. The performance of POD was validated by comparing with JPL's Precise Orbit Ephemeris(POE).

The present thesis is a study about a character actor's characterization from the concept of 'star persona'. Conducted in 2020, this is a follow-up study about a personality actor's characterization. Lee Sung-min was selected due to his wide acting spectrum among domestic actors and his brilliant expression of differing characters as a character actor. The study discusses characterization methods for character actors on the basis of his role of high-ranking North Korean bureaucrat 'Ri Myung-un' in the film 'The Spy Gone North'. Stanislavski claimed that character building or characterization was the pinnacle of the acting art. However, such an expression of personality requires hard work and devotion from an actor. The actor Lee Sung-min practiced the North Korean dialect in order to act the role, and added the way the elite speak in North Korea to this dialect. He achieves a style of acting that raises tensions within the drama by spitting out lines in one breath and by making the audience fixate their gaze within character solo shots for which the character's emotions and lines serve as the core, with the purpose of maximizing dramatic tension and situational reality. Continuity and angle also serve extremely important roles in terms of expressing a character's personality development, affect, and emotions. The present thesis discussed the character development methods for a character actor's role of 'Ri Myung-un' in the film 'The Spy Gone North'.

This study aims to conceptualize 'perceived disability discrimination', to evaluate the coverage of Korea's Disability Discrimination Act from the perspective of perceived discrimination, and to discuss the possibility of legal judgement on the perceived disability discrimination. As a general concept, it is the perceived discrimination that people with disabilities feel or experience any type of discrimination based on stigma, disability oppression, prejudice, or stereotype. The Korea's Disability Discrimination Act does not consider some perceived discrimination as a subject of legal judgement. Although indirect discrimination is a very good content to correct wrong social rules, values, institutions, actually, it is confronted with being remained useless. Perceived disability discrimination such as strangers' staring or benevolent disability discrimination are not included in the coverage of Korea's Disability Discrimination Act. The disability discrimination experienced by family members who has a disabled member was not a matter of current Korea's Disability Discrimination Act. Considering perceived disability discrimination, coverage of Korea's Disability Discrimination Act should be extended to the concept of discrimination against disability, not against people with disability. Based on the concept of indirect discrimination, social rules and institutions should be examined if they are discriminative or not in dealing with the matters of people with disabilities. Also, for judging perceived disability discrimination, it is necessary to use 'the standard of reasonable people with disability', which comes from judgement standard of sexual harassments. The reality of oppressive ideology against disability should be socially accepted and the social reconstruction for people with disabilities should go on.

In 1964, Roman Catholic Church declared that 'Christ is the light of mankind' at the Second Vatican Council. Pope John Paul II also proclaimed the 'The Mysteries of the Light of Christ' in 2002. For past two centuries, the fact that Christ is the light was emphasized and people were urged to realize the mysteries by focusing on 'Christ of light' and 'Christ who shines like the sun'. This study examined the meaning of living up to 'the Mysteries of the Light of Christ' through analytic psychological perspective on the symbolism of 'the mysteries of light.'in the Rosary. In order to study symbolism of 'the Mysteries of Light' from analytic psychological perspective, this study dealt with the symbolic meaning of images appeared in 'the mysteries of light' of the Rosary. That is, the symbolism of images was revealed'the mysteries of light'has been testifying for Christ the light in the Bible. Those images represented the Baptism, Wedding at Gana, the Kingdom of God, Transfiguration of Christ, and the Last Supper. To live up to the 'The mystery of Christ the light' means to assimilate the unique Self with the image of 'Christ the light'. in other words, the study has meaningful findings that the personality which became conscious and individuation through experiencing the opposites existed as 'the light of the world' or 'the light of the ages'.
