Public Shared Service Centers (PSSC) consolidate functions such as human resources, information technology, financial management or accounting into one office to serve an organization. A prominent example from the United States is the Federal Information Technology Shared Services Strategy. It supports mission, administrative, and infrastructure-related IT functions through providing organizations in the Executive Branch of the Federal Government (Federal Agencies) with policy guidance on the full range and lifecycle of intra- and inter-agency information technology (IT) shared services. This study looks at the Federal Information Technology Shared Services Strategy in order to draw lessons for fostering collaborative government through the use of PSSC. It finds the following factors are critical for success when implementing IT shared services: (1) agency leadership must be solidly behind their IT shared service plan, or the needed changes will not happen at the business unit, program, or system levels; (2) there must be a move away from internally-centered, program-specific thinking, and a move toward a paradigm of consuming and providing IT shared services with multiple groups whenever possible; and (3) successfully managing "loss of control" issues is central, and optimizing business processes is essential to move from stove-piped workflows to processes that work across the agency enterprise and beyond. Therefore, the study suggests that a Korean model of PSSC implementation be introduced, and that good IT Governance is a crucial component of PSSC strategies.

The Literature Museum Network aims to realize the legislative purpose of the Literature Promotion Act and achieve balanced development of local literature centers across the country. In the Literature Museum Network, the literature museum network support center will be established by region to take charge of cooperation projects between local literature centers, which will be the culmination of the National Literature Museum of Korea. It is intended to test-run various projects planned by the Munhakwan Network Support Center to create derivative contents, or to establish a regional hub literature center in charge of education and other affairs of the literature museum's workforce. If the existing metropolitan administrative districts are used to form zones, the entire country can be organized into four zones. They include the Seoul-Gyeonggi Literature Museum Network (23 local literature centers), the Gangwon Chungcheong Literature Museum Network (32 local literature centers), the Yeongnam Literature Museum Network (30 local literature centers), and the Honam Jeju Literature Museum Network (22 local literature centers). One literature museum network support center will be established for each region and one local literature center will be selected as the hub literature center. The Literature Hall Network Support Center is in charge of collecting and managing literary materials, developing contents and programs, promoting and foreign cooperation, etc. The hub literature museum will be in charge of pilot operation of content and programs, training and education of experts in the literature museum, and running joint storage facilities. This structural system and efficient operation of the literature museum network will ultimately provide an opportunity for the formation of cultural governance in which the power and public nature of the establishment of literary promotion infrastructure are secured.

This study investigates business demands for firms operating in the Busan Sasang Industrial Area for the proposed knowledge-industry innovation base. Diverse improvement arrangements are proposed for revitalization of the industrial area. For these purposes, a questionnaire survey was conducted for the examination of physical conditions and enterprise demands among firms. The major findings are as follows. Firstly, judging from the examination of physical conditions, the study area has presented a lower rate of roads and smaller individual lots of land, which would contribute to a worsening business environment for small business owners. Secondly, business request for industrial-area innovation, pilot project needs, and expected impacts demonstrated higher scores. Thirdly, an absolute majority of firms strongly supported the proposed knowledge-industry innovation base and requested an R&D center as the first anchor facility. Based on these findings, guidelines are proposed for an institutional rearrangement plan. First of all, specific field surveys dealing with networking issues and industrial dominance should be immediately carried out. In addition, the proposed knowledge-industry innovation base should be equipped with significant power of influence for the adjacent industrial areas. Lastly, major stakeholders should upgrade the cooperative mechanism for innovative change in the regional industrial complex.

한국과 미국은 2018년 8월에 발표한 메콩우호국(Friends of the Lower Mekong, FLM) "메콩지역 수자원 데이터 관리 및 정보공유 강화에 관한 공동성명"을 계기로 메콩유역의 실시간 수자원 변동 모니터링 및 분석과 수자원 데이터 공동활용 역량을 강화하여 효율적이고 과학적인 수자원관리 지원과 함께 한국의 신남방정책과 미국의 인도-태평양 전략 시너지효과를 극대화하고자 메콩 주변국 재해경감 및 수자원 데이터 활용 역량강화를 위한 글로벌 위성기반 수문자료의 생산·활용 및 홍수·가뭄 등의 수재해 분석기술을 개발하고 있다. 여기에는 한국 K-water의 물관리 기술과 미국 NASA, USACE의 위성활용 및 수자원분석 기술을 접목하여 메콩지역의 체계적인 물관리 및 재해로부터 안전성 확보 기여에 목표를 두고 연구를 진행 중에 있다. 본 연구에서는 전 세계적으로 광범위하게 활용되고 있는 미공병단(USACE, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers)의 HEC software 프로그램을 메콩 시범지역(pilot area)에 적용하여 수리/수문모델 구축을 진행하고 있다. 구축되는 모형은 유역 상류 댐의 연계 모의운영 및 하류 홍수분석이 동시 가능한 HEC-RTS(Real-Time Simulation)로 이는 HEC-HMS, -ResSim, -RAS와 -FIA 모형이 순차적으로 결합된 수리/수문 모델링 시스템이다. 모형의 시범적용 지역은 현지 메콩위원회(MRC, Mekong River Comission)의 의견 등을 반영, 메콩강 하류지역(Lower Mekong) 본류 유역에 위성자료 활용 및 준실시간(near real-time)으로 댐 모의운영 등을 고려할 수 있는 JingHong댐(중국 란창강 최하류)에서 라오스 Xayaburi댐(메콩강 최상류)까지의 구간을 선정하였으며, 전년도에는HEC-RTS 중 HMS(Hydrologic Modeling System) 모형 적용을 중심으로 가용한 위성자료(GPM IMERG)를 활용하여 과거 홍수사상에 대한 모의를 고려한 강우-유출모형의 구축을 완료하였다. 이에 연속하여 금년도에는 동일유역 내 하천 단면 등이 확보된 Chiang Saen 지점에서 Xayaburi 댐까지의 구간에 대해 RAS(River Analysis System)을 구축할 예정으로 구축된 RAS 모형은 HEC-RTS에 포함되어 메콩 시범지역의 종합적 수리/수문분석에 적용될 예정이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the statistics of document delivery services(DDS) in 2007 and to suggest improved Plan at foreign journal supporting center which is established at K University library in 2006. This study is based on the monthly collected statistics of DDS from February 20 to October 31, 2007. Analysis is performed for the various aspects of DDS services and improvement plan is provided through the acquired knowledge in the process of watching daily routine.

The objectives of the project are to increase farmers' income through GAP and to reduce the loss of agricultural produce, for which the Korean partner takes a role of transferring needed technologies to the project site. To accomplish the project plan, it is set to implement the project with six components: construction of buildings, installation of agricultural facilities, establishment of demonstration farms, dispatching experts, conducting training program in Korea and provision of equipments. The Project Management Committee and the Project Implementation Team are consisted of Korean experts and senior officials from Department of Agriculture, Myanmar that managed the project systematically to ensure the success of the project. The process of the project are; the ceremony of laying the foundation and commencing the construction of training center in April, 2012. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the completion of GAP Training Center was successfully held under PMC (MOAI, GAPI/ARDC) arrangement in SAl, Naypyitaw on June 17, 2012. The Chairman of GAPI, Dr. Sang Mu Lee, Director General U Kyaw Win of DOA, officials and staff members from Korea and Myanmar, teachers and students from SAl attended the ceremony. The team carried out an inspection and fixing donors' plates on donated project machineries, agro-equipments, vehicles, computers and printer, furniture, tools and so forth. Demonstration farm for paddy rice, fruits and vegetables was laid out in April, 2012. Twenty nine Korean rice varieties and many Korean vegetable varieties were introduced into GAP Project farm to check the suitability of the varieties under Myanmar growing conditions. Paddy was cultivated three times in DAR and twice in SAl. In June 2012, vinyl houses were started to be constructed for raising seedlings and finished in December 2012. Fruit orchard for mango, longan and dragon fruit was established in June, 2012. Vegetables were grown until successful harvest and the harvested produce was used for panel testing and distribution in January 2013. Machineries for postharvest handling systems were imported in November 2012. Setting the washing line for vegetables were finished and the system as run for testing in June 2013. New water tanks, pine lines, pump house and electricity were set up in October 2013.

희망인큐베이터, 감염인지원센터의 자활공동체이다. 말 그대로 다소 부족하고 힘들고 어렵더라도 서로 의지하고 도와가며 자활을 위해 새로이 시작하는 장소를 뜻한다. 한국감염인협회에서는 작년 말부터 대한에이즈예방협회의 지원 아래 시범사업으로 실시해 온 이 사업을 올해부터 독립적으로 추진해 나갈 계획이다. 개개인의 특기를 살려낼 수 있는 일거리 창출은 물론 자립할 수 있는 기틀을 마련해주고, 그 속에서 각각의 특성 있는 소그룹을 형성, 활성화시켜 장기적으로 경제적 자립 얻을 수 있도록 노력할 것이다.

한국과학기술정보연구원 슈퍼컴퓨팅센터에서는 작년부터 그리드 테스트 베드를 운영하면서 축적된 기술을 바탕으로 금년 하반기부터 그리드 시범 서비스를 시행할 예정에 있다. 그리드 환경에서의 사용자 요금 부과를 위해서는 기존의 체계와는 다른 여러 가지 요소들을 고려해야 하는데, 본 고에서는 그리드 환경에 적합한 요금부과 프로그램을 설계하였다.

국립수의과학검역원은 지난 4월 '그동안 소, 돼지에 국한되어 있던 가축사육단계의 위해요소 중점관리기준(HACCP)을 육계 사육단계에도 확대 적용한다.'고 발표해 닭 농장에서도 HACCP 인증을 획득할 수 있는 길이 열렸다. 이에 용인시 농업기술센터의 안전고품질축산물종합생산시범 추진사업단의 발 빠른 움직임으로 HACCP 인증을 받고자 하는 농가에 시설자금 2천만원을 지원(농촌진흥청, 용인시 각 50%)하고, HACCP 컨설팅 그룹 정P&C연구소와 업무협약을 체결해 컨설팅 교육을 실시했다. 보배농장(사장 이상근)은 시장동향과 자금 지원을 받은 농가들의 반응을 살피고는 '이거다' 싶은 생각에 자비를 들여 교육에 참가해 우수한 성적으로 인증을 받았다.
