Development of 119 Integrated Emergency Management System Training Simulator System (119 긴급구조시스템 교육훈련 시뮬레이터 개발)

  • 119 Integrated Emergency Management System, 119 IEMS hereinafter, is specialized command and control system for fire H.Q., that supports effective response activity at Fire, Rescue, and First Aids; it covers the emergency call taking, dispatch command delivery and situation control after dispatch command. While the efficiency of emergency response activity of call-taker and dispatcher is directly linked to the capability of qualified response in protecting the life and properties at real-time emergency condition, there is not any similar simulator system that can be used for training purposes for newly allocated personnel or beginner of emergency call taking and dispatch activity - 119 IEMS in fire H.Q. is the operation system that cannot be shared with other purposes, and they're highly expensive ICT system and infrastructure to be used as training and education. 119 Integrated Emergency Management Simulator System, 119 IEMS Simulator, was developed to be utilized in low cost for the training of 119 emergency call taker and dispatcher, and it can be used in training of various types of disaster and emergency handling, spans to emergency call taking, dispatch command, and field report and situation control after dispatch command.

  • This paper proposes the development model of the aerodrome traffic control simulator (ATCS) System for the domestic airport. The application of the ATCS is used as a OJT training function for the air traffic controller and research function for a new control procedure. In order to perform those functions, we classified the ATCS in three types such as education, research and integrated management system, and the ATCS types analysed by the working and OJT training condition in domestic airport. Therefore, we proposed the ATCS models such as uniform type, differential type, and center type, and analysed the merits and demerits of the proposed models. Also we looked up ATCS's application in terms of the building and maintenance costs, operational utilization and scalability. So, we proposed the differential type which was suitable for the developing ATCS for the domestic airports.

  • Engine control/performance model for helicopter simulator is one of the most important models which affect flight performance and handling quality. It is typical to develop the model based on the raw data and models from the engine designers/manufacturers. The approaches in this study were to develop the basic model based on the available resources and to tune and verify it based on the ground/flight test results. The maintenance manuals of TB3-117 which is installed in KA-32T were reviewed and the components to be simulated for the engine control model were categorized and modeled. Piece-wise linear modeling method was used for the engine performance model. The engine performance data in the engine maintenance manuals were incorporated into the engine steady state performance tables, which were incorporated with the transfer functions for the dynamic performance. Engine control/performance model was compared and tuned with the ground/flight test results. It was verified that the fidelity of the model was within the tolerances in FAA AC120-63.

  • 전력산업에 당초 도입 예정되었던 도매경쟁시장을 운영지원하기 위하여 전력거래소는 지난 2002년 도매경쟁 전력시장 운영시스템(Two Way Bidding Pool Market Operation System; TWBP MOS, 이하 전력시장운영시스템)을 구축하였다. 그러나 이후 배전분할 잠정 중단정책에 따라 구축 완료된 시스템은 실 업무에 적용해보지도 못한 채 폐기될 수도 있는 상황이 발생하였다. 하지만 전력거래소는 배전분할 잠정 중단에 따른 발전 경쟁시장(CBP; Cost-Based Pool) 장기화에 대비, 운영상의 효율성을 개선하고 기 개발된 전력시장운영시스템을 활용하여 급전체계를 개선하는데 성공하였다. 실시간 급전 운영을 위해 기존 EMS에 전력시장운영시스템을 연계하여 전력시장운영시스템의 5분 단위 수요 예측량을 기반으로 송전망 제약과 예비력 요구량 등을 고려한 발전기별 경제부하 배분량 및 예비력 배분량을 결정하고, 추가적으로 EMS에서 수요예측 오차 및 주파수 보정량을 실시간으로 계산하여 발전기별로 배분하도록 함으로써, 1일 전 시행하던 급전계획을 취득 자료를 기반으로 5분 단위로 실시간 계산할 수 있도록 급전 개선하였다. 이를 통해 실시간으로 에너지와 예비력을 동시에 최적화함으로써 전력시장 및 전력계통 운영을 한층 선진화 할 수 있는 계기를 마련하였으며 또한 저비용 발전기 사용을 극대화함으로 발전비용의 절감에도 기여하는 효과를 가져왔다. 이러한 긍정적인 효과에도 불구하고, 전력시장윤영 시스템은 구축된 모든 설비 및 프로그램을 당초 목적에 맞게 활용하지 못한다는 이유 등으로 시스템의 최적화 및 성능 개선에 대한 투자가 망설여지는 현실이다. 특히 온라인 실시간 시스템과 별도로 전력시장운영을 모의 할 수 있는 시뮬레이터가 구축되지 않아 시장의 흐름을 사전 예측하거나 시스템 오류 등을 재현하여 재발 대책 등을 마련하기가 매우 어려운 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 그동안 쌓아온 전력거래소의 전력시장운영시스템 운영관리에 대한 다양한 경험을 바탕으로 구축비용을 획기적으로 절감할 수 있는 전력시장운영시스템 시뮬레이터의 구축방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, we developed a WMS (Warehouse Management System) Simulator. There is no Simulator that supports optimized design for Warehouse, consider goods which storage in warehouse and using RFID and USN based on cable wireless network. Also, there is no tool for monitoring which decides delivery time with information about temperature, humidity and illumination, after goods are stocked into warehouse. In this paper, WMS Simulator Implements function of drawing a blueprint. The Simulator that can analyze moving information of Palette with RFID tags and the change about temperature, humidity and illumination is developed in this paper. Inventory accuracy, space equipment practical use, and decreasing of picking time, faulty storage and product loss by product processing ability elevation are expected by designing the way of operating of warehouse for most suitable use of system in physical distribution through these treatise.

An Investigation for Driving Behavior on the Exit-ramp Terminal in Urban Underground Roads Using a Driving Simulator (주행 시뮬레이터를 활용한 도심 지하도로 유출연결로 접속부 주행행태 분석)

  • Even though driving behaviors in underground roads can be significantly different from ground roads, existing underground roads follow the design guidelines of ground roads. In this context, this study investigates the driving behaviors of the exit-ramp terminal of urban underground roads using a driving simulator. Virtual driving experiments were performed by analyzing scenarios between the underground and ground road environments. The experiments' driving behavior data for each geometry section are compared and validated through a statistical significance test. This test showed that the speed in the underground road environment is relatively low, and the LPM tends to move away from the adjacent tunnel wall. Based on these findings, this study suggests implications and feasible solutions for improving driver's safety in the exit-ramp terminal of the underground roads.

  • Due to the development of advanced technology, a lot of digital radiographic equipment has been developed, which is very helpful for accurate diagnosis and treatment, and it is very important to train personnel who have acquired professional knowledge in order to use it safely and effectively. Students are exposed to the risk of radiation exposure in radiography training using diagnostic X-ray equipment, and some educational institutions do not use X-ray equipment due to management difficulties in accordance with the Nuclear Safety Act. As a solution to this, this study developed a medical radiation simulator for education that does not generate radiation by using a vision sensor and self-developed software. Through this, educational institutions can reduce the burden of administrative implementation according to the law, and students can obtain a high level of educational effects in a healthy practice environment without radiation exposure.

  • 임진강 수계는 북측 지역이 다수를 차지하는 유역 특성으로 예고 없는 상류 급방류, 강우 등으로 인해 댐 운영에 근본적 어려움이 있으며, 이에 따라 홍수조절지 및 댐 하류 계측 가능 지역의 취득 자료를 고려한 하천 수위 변화에 대한 사전 예측을 필요로 하고 있다. 홍수기 하천 도달시간 및 수위예측 기법으로는 물리 기반 및 데이터 기반 모델들이 다양하게 연구되어 왔으며, 일부 연구성과들은 현업에 활용하고 있다. 물리기반 모델은 하천 지형 변화에 대한 자료 취득 및 분석에 많은 시간을 요하는 단점은 있으나, 설명 가능한 모델을 구현할 수 있을 것으로 사료 된다. 반면, 데이터 기반 인공지능 모델은 짧은 시간 및 비용으로 모델을 개발할 수 있으나, 복잡한 알고리즘구현 시 설명이 불가하여 일관성을 의심 받을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 홍수 도달시간과 하류 수위 상승에 대하여 설명 가능한 인공지능 알고리즘 및 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 개발하고자 하였다. 홍수 도달시간 예측은 기존 조견표 방식에서 고려하지 않았던 홍수파의 영향을 추가 변수화 하고, 데이터의 전후처리를 통하여 도달시간을 예측하였다. 실시간 하류 수위 예측은 댐 방류량, 주변 강우, 조위 등을 고려하여 도달시간 후 수위를 예측할 수 있도록 구현하였으며, 자료 동화 기술을 일부 적용하였다. 미래 방류조건에 대한 시뮬레이션을 위해서는 미래 방류량, 예상 강우 입력 시 하천 지점별 수위 상승을 예측할 수 있도록 알고리즘 및 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이를 구현하기 위하여 다양한 인공지능 알고리즘을 이용한 학습, 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 가중치 학습 제한 조건내 최적화, 수위파와 조위파의 중첩의 정리 등을 이용하여 예측 정확도 및 신뢰성을 제고 하였다. 인공지능 분석결과의 현업활용성 제고를 위하여 시뮬레이터 프로그램을 개발하여 현업에 적용하였다.

A Study on User Satisfaction Evaluation of Acceleration-Based Automated Driving Patterns (가속도 기반 자율주행 패턴에 대한 이용자 만족도 평가 연구)

  • With the rapid advances in automated driving technology, opportunities to experience automated driving directly or indirectly are being provided to the public. On the other hand, research on the preferred automated driving patterns from the user's perspective has not been conducted in Korea. This study used a driving simulator and an experimental vehicle capable of automated driving to evaluate the user satisfaction regarding longitudinal and lateral accelerations. Automated driving patterns were implemented in a virtual environment simulation using five values of longitudinal and lateral accelerations derived from driving experiments. Among these values, three were implemented through experimental vehicle-based automated driving to evaluate satisfaction and anxiety. The participants evaluated lateral acceleration more sensitively than longitudinal acceleration and showed higher levels of anxiety. Based on these results, the necessity of user-oriented evaluation research for automated driving patterns and the suitability of simulator-based evaluation methods were presented.
