가상수조에서 자유표면을 가진 유체흐름의 가시화시뮤레이션 (The visual Simulation of Fluid Flow with Free Surface in a Virtual Water Tank)

  • SMAC method is, one of the numerical simulation techniques, modified from the original MAC for the time-dependent variation of fluid flows. The Navier-Stokes equation for incompressible time-dependent viscous flow is applied and, also marker particles which move with the fluid are used. Two-dimensional numerical computations of fluid flow are carried out in a virtual water tank. This paper has shown very well the movements of marker particles using SMAC method.

  • 미지의 조작량이나 매우 큰 외란이 입력으로 작용하고 있는 동력시스템의 정도 높은 상태를 추정하려면 상태추정에 앞서 시스템의 입력추정이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 간략형 칼만필터 (SKF:Simplified Kalman Filter)를 이용하여 운동하고 있는 목표물의 상태추정을 행함과 동시에 기동탐지자 (Maneuvering Detector)와 입력추정자 (Input Estimator)에 의해 시스템의 입력을 추정하고 이것에 의하여 SKF의 추정치를 보정해줌으로써 입력이 미지인 동적 시스템의 상태추정에 있어서 추정정도를 개선하는 방법을 제안하며 디지탈계산기를 이용한 시뮤레이션을 통하여 본 방법의 유효성을 밝힌다.

  • Using the "MAGIC" code, computer simulation is performed to design a cathode structure which provides a radial distribution of electron beam density matching the field distribution of the $TM_{05}$ mode. Thus, very narrow band $TM_{05}$ mode microwave radiation can be generated in an open end waveguide. The simulation results show that the vircator can indeed be operated at the selected frequency 10.2GHz with a very narrow bandwidth(${\Delta}{\omega}/{\omega}$ < 1%).

  • 기존의 이산 사건 시스템 시뮬레이션 환경들은 Interoperability의 문제, Portability 문제로 인하여 Internet과 Web상에서 분산 시뮤레이션이 불가능하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 제약을 해결하고자 자바를 사용하여 DEVS(Discrete Event Systems Specification)형식혼을 구현하여 Internet/Web 상에서 시뮬레이션이 가능한 DEVSim-Java 환경을 설계하고 구현하였다. DEVSim-Java를 사용하여 시뮬레이션 환경을 구현함으로써 원격지에서 개발된 시뮬레이션 모델들을 인터넷을 통하여 재사용 하는 remote model-base(RMB) 개념을 제안된다. DEVSim-Java는 자바의 장점을 이용하여 시뮬레이션 과정을 애니메이션으로 잘 나타낼수 있고, 시뮬레이션의 결과를 Graphical Analyzer를 통해 분석할 수 있게 된다.

  • We can reduce delays and number of stops in the traffic area by means of optimal design of traffic signal system. A computer simulation model to simulate and predict the traffic signal system of Jong-Ro 4-th street was developed for determination of optimal cycle time. This simulation model was developed in relation to Jong-Ro 4-th street, but this model can be applied for other places with small modification.

  • Learning effect is an observation that the more times a task is performed, the less time is required to produce the same amount of outcomes. The construction industry heavily relies on repeated tasks where the learning effect is an important measure to be used. However, most construction durations are calculated and applied in real projects without considering the learning effects in each of the repeated activities. This paper applied the learning effect to the repeated activities in a small sized apartment construction project. The result showed that there was about 10 percent of difference in duration (one approach of the total duration with learning effects in 41 days while the other without learning effect in 36.5 days). To make the comparison between the two approaches, a large number of BIM based computer simulations were generated and useful patterns were recognized using machine learning algorithm named Decision Tree (See5). Machine learning is a data-driven approach for pattern recognition based on observational evidence.

  • In this paper, a computer program for simulation of 4 cycle diesel engines including intake and exhaust manifold system is developed. The wave action theory is applied for optimization of the intake and exhaust manifold system. The calculation results of this computer program is finely accurate and agreed well with experimental results. Accordingly, it is recognized that the developed computer program can be utillized very usefully for the design of intake and manifold system. And then, influential factors of the engine performance in the design of intake manifold is numerically investigated by the calculation only. As the results it is concluded that the inertia one of the dynamic effects on the intake and exhaust maninfold affects mainly the engine performance and the pulsation one is a side effect.

과급디젤기관의 성능시뮤레이션 프로그램개발 (Development of a Simulation Program for the Performance of Turbo-Charged Diesel Engines)

  • This paper describes briefly the simulation program for predicting the performance of a high speed turbocharged four cycle diesel engine. The wave phenomena in the intake and exhaust systems are calculated by the characteristic method. The combustion process in the power cycle is represented by the heat release pattern which is given by the Wiebe's function or the pattern based on measured values. Turbocharger matching for the engine is described by utilizing the characteristic maps of both the compressor and turbine, which are obtained from quasi-steady states. A comparison of experimental and calculated results shows a good agreement. Then the influences of the intake system, the period of valve overlap and the characteristics of the turbine are numerically investigated by the simulation.

승강기 대기시스템의 시뮤레이션 모델 (A Simulation Model for the Elevator Queueing System)

  • Among the various types of waiting line systems, the elevator servicing system is quite different from the usual queueing system in view of the service characteristics. For example, the FIFO discipline is not always valid depending upon the situation when the direction of first-come customer's is opposite of the operating elevator direction and at that time a later-arrived one has a luck to be served first. In this paper, a simulation model is constructed and tested by the sample data and the results have turned out to be fairly adequate. This model, therefore, will provide a good guide to anyone who is interested in the decision of optimal location selection of no-passenger elevator in high buildings whatsoever. This model is also available, with slight modification, to the problem of city bus dispatching or any other waiting line problems where the servicing equipments are moving.

  • 직류 서어보 모터는 속도 및 위치제어계에서 성능이 뛰어나므로 위치제어계로 많이 사용하고 있지만 불확실한 외란이나 부하 Torque 변동들이 직류서어보 모터의 위치제어계에서 발생할 때 정상상태 혹은 과도상태 오차가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이 오차를 가속도 제어법을 통해서 감소시키는 견실성이 높은 제어법을 제안하고 컴퓨터 시뮤레이션을 통해서 가속도 제어기법의 유효성을 확인하였다.
