A Check List Development for Water Leakage Prevention in Educational Facility (교육시설물 누수방지 Check List 제안에 관한 연구 - 공법, 공간, 단계를 중심으로 -)

  • Midium-size Companies have participated in most of the Educational Facility Construction. Since they are lack of special manpower, construction experience, and know-how, many construction defects cause. A water leakage is a typical construct defect in the educational facility construction. A water leakage prevention has to be careful considered in plan, construction and maintenance stages. Therefore, this study suggests Check List for the water leakage prevention, which designer/engineer must consider in plan, construction, and maintenance stages for the educational facility.

  • 상수도시설은 준공후 관련지자체에 이관 관리하는 시설로서 사용관종이 현재 다양하게 생산 보급되고 있어 관종 선정시 다각적인 측면에서 검토하여 채택하여야 한다. 최근 한국토지공사에서 사용하고 있는 상수도 관종은 대부분 택지개발계획 등 인허가 당시부터 관리주체인 지자체 등과의 협의과정을 거쳐 선정되는 경우가 많아 자재선택에 한계성이 있다. 이를 극복하기 위해서는 자재 성능에 대한 공사내 명확한 기준이 제시되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 공사가 시공하여 준공한 사업지구내 매설된 상수도 자재에 대한 샘플링조사를 통하여 적정한 관의 선정과 년도별, 관종별, 용도별 사용 현황을 파악하여 향후 대응방안을 마련하고, 기존 상수도관의 선정시 비교검토된 관의 제원(관의 재질 및 개요, 생산규격, 특성, 관접합 및 수밀성, 시공성, 경제성, 공사비, 관종선정(안) 결정)별 비교검토서를 보완 작성하고, 국내에서 생산되고 있는 각종 상수도관에 대한 정량적 분석을 수행하였다. 이를 통하여 상수도 관종 설계 및 시공에 대한 적용방안을 마련하였다.

  • This study aims to come up with the revision of construction standard unit price for concrete pavement works to improve its applicability and availability by a construction site survey. Construction site survey was conducted from March to November 2021 with 36 construction sites. This results of the revision are expected to support to public construction project owner or estimator in construction cost estimation works.

  • 상수도시설은 준공후 관련지자체에 이관 관리하는 시설로서 사용관종이 현재 다양하게 생산 보급되고 있어 관종 선정시 다각적인 측면에서 검토하여 채택하여야 한다. 최근 한국토지공사에서 사용하고 있는 상수도 관종은 대부분 택지개발계획 등 인허가 당시부터 관리주체인 지방자치단체 등과의 협의과정을 거쳐 선정되는 경우가 많아 자재선택에 한계성이 있다. 이를 극복하기 위해서는 자재 성능에 대한 공사내 명확한 기준이 제시되어야 한다. 상수관종을 선정하기 위한 가장 중요한 요소는 경제성으로 판단되는데, 관종의 경제성은 시공비와 자재비를 포함한 단순 공사비에만 국한되는 것이 아니라 유지관리비용을 포함한 생애주기비용(LCC: Life Cycle Cost)을 평가하여야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한국토지공사에서 택지지구 조성을 위해 사용한 배수관.급수관용 상수관종에 대한 경제성 평가기준을 제시하였고, 평가기준에 따라 각각의 택지지구 조성사례별로 종합적인 경제성 평가를 수행하였다. 보다 풍부한 자료를 바탕으로 객관적인 경제성평가 기준을 수립하기 위한 전(前)과정으로 이해되길 바라며, 설계시부터 객관적인 평가기준을 통해 합리적인 상수관을 선정하여 지금까지의 상수관종 자재선택의 한계를 최소한으로 축소하고자 하는데 가장 큰 목표를 가지고 있다.

Field Survey on the Construction Errors for the Members of Reinforced Concrete Structures (현장조사를 통한 철근콘크리트 구조 부재의 시공오차에 관한 연구)

  • Information on the distribution characteristics of construction errors is very important to determine the member factors, which are to be introduced in a new Korean design code for reinforced concrete structures. The new design code, which is under development for reinforced concrete structures, is based on the performance design concept. The construction errors of reinforced concrete members are mainly caused by the firmness and dimensional accuracy of forms, the arranging condition of reinforcing bars, the pouring and compaction methods of concrete, the skills of field workers, and the experience of supervisors. To find out the construction errors of reinforced concrete structures already built in Korea, a field survey for cover thickness, effective depth of reinforcement, the thickness of slabs and walls, and the dimension of beams and columns has been performed. Based on the survey, which is the first time in Korea, the analysis results are presented. The measuring methods for the construction errors, which have been established through the laboratory tests, are also presented. In addition, the measured construction errors from the survey are compared with the allowable tolerances in the current domestic and foreign specifications.

  • Modular Construction is a method, which factory-produced units are transferred to on-site and assembled to form complete buildings. It is expected that its demand will increase gradually. Because it has some advantages such as duration reduction, movement, reuse and environmental friendliness etc. For the Modular Construction to be introduced and applied, we needs the objective and reasonable performance criteria. This study presents the acoustic performance criteria of the modular building. For this one, this paper reviews legal standard related to performance, analyzes the performance evaluation and survey on pilot projects. The presented performance criteria can be specifically asked the demand by owner in a design guideline. In addition, it makes designer and general contractor accomplish target performance. Eventually, it can improve the performance of Modular Building.

  • 현재 다양한 교통정보 서비스와 소통수준 제고를 목표로 국내 여러 도시에서 진행중인 첨단교통관리체계(ATMS)사업이 운영 또는 구축중에 있으며 도로상의 교통정보를 보다 정확히 수집하기 위해 다양한 종류의 차량검지시스템이 도입되고 있으나 기존 국내외 사례를 볼 때 제반 검지기의 성능평가 방안이 사업별로 상이한 기준으로 진행되었으며 객관적인 성능수준을 제시하지는 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 검지시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위한 과정을 최근의 서울시 내부순환로 교통관리시스템의 사례를 토대로 고찰한 결과 시공단계에서 지속적인 튜닝과 성능제고방안을 추진한다면 상당한 수준의 정확도 확보를 기대할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 제시된 평가방안은 향후 보완을 거쳐 타 시스템에 있어 초기설치시 또는 유지관리시 성능의 척도로써 목표를 선정하고 활용하는 데 있어 하나의 대안으로 제시할 수 있을 것이다. 이에 제반 ATMS관련 연구기관에서는 시스템의 성능과 정확성을 좌우한다 해도 과언이 아닌 차량 검지기에 대한 성능평가 기준의 표준화 방안에 대한 연구를 진행하여, 검지기 성능제고를 위한 객관적인 기준목표와 각 검지기변 평가기준의 표준화 방안을 제시한다면 통행시간, 속도 등 제공정보의 신뢰성을 상당수준 향상시킴과 동시에 사업시행에 따른 시행착오를 최소화할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Analysis of the Finishing Failure in the Railway Station Platform and Deduction of Improvement Plans (철도역사 승강장 연단부 마감 탈락에 대한 원인 분석 및 개선 방안)

  • The railway platform is an important facility closely related to the safety of passengers, trains, and images of railway facilities, and requires thorough facility management. However, the problem that the finishing material (plastering mortar) for the joint finishing of dissimilar materials (concrete+granite) falls off in the direction of the track at the platform podium is occurring multiple times across the country. Since these problems threaten the safety of train operation and the safety of passengers, immediate and continuous management is required. This study tried to derive improvement plans through the analysis of the drop-off problem of finishing materials occurring at the platform podium. The status of missing finishing materials for the platform podiums of about 200 railway stations and the related design and construction standards of the Korea National Railway were investigated. After that, the cause of the drop-off of the finishing material was analyzed, and as a result, it was found that the main cause was the boundary between the roadbed and the architectural process that occurred during construction. Subsequently, in connection with the derived causes and design, construction standards, (1) improvement of finishing materials or construction methods, (2) design of finishing materials that are easy to adjust height, (3) design of separate finishing methods, (4) improvement methods and durability were suggested.

Critical Success Factors for Nuclear Power Plant Construction Projects (원전건설의 성공적인 시공을 위한 핵심성공요인(CSFs) 도출)

  • The construction of the first nuclear power plant (Kori #1) in Korea started in 1971, Korea operates 24 nuclear power plants and is constructing 4 in 2015. During about 45 years of construction experience, insufficient studies have been investigated for the identification of critical success factors(CSFs) for nuclear power plant construction. Based on literature reviews and focus group interviews, this study presented a list of CSFs for construction of nuclear power plants. A survey for validating the results of CSFs was conducted with 164 experts. This study indicates that attentions should be placed upon the lowest price-based contract awarding policy, the need for reasonable pricing standard implementation, database development, and deployment for experienced nuclear power plant construction workers, identification and nurturing of competitive subcontractors, and minimization of lag times in construction activities.

  • Turnkey project, also called Design-Build project, has been expanding and diversifying its business into the Korean market. However, it has been experiencing numerous difficulties due to a large number of change orders on the public turnkey project. Change order during the construction phase impact on time deliveries, budget and quality on a turnkey project. In preparation for this, the government has to improve the awarding procedure and general conditions for turnkey projects. Contractors should also cooperate with their co-working partners and establish a standardized procedure, which provides change order control for efficient implementation on the construction site.
