Fuel consumption effects of transportation improvement options using mesoscopic traffic simulator (메조모형 시뮬레이터를 이용한 교통운영방식의 연료소모량 분석)

  • To evaluate the effects of transportation system operation, usually measures of effectiveness(MOE) such as travel time, space mean speed, stop/delay ratio have been used. But, energy consumption as well as the existing MOE in transportation receives more attention as an alternative MOE in transportation operation. The purpose of this study is a development of procedure, which could measure the relative energy consumption for each alternative and compare the results. A mesoscopic simulator called INTEGRATION is used to evaluate the operation of high occupancy vehicle lane, signal optimization, lane expansion, and the application of ITS. Among those, the application of ITS shows the greatest effectiveness in energy reduction, and then lane expansion, signal optimization, and the operation of high occupancy vehicle lane in the order named. Because we don't consider the characteristics of vehicle class, Potential demand and the simulation time is just for an hour. it is recommended that a procedure for precise economic analysis and an improvement in methodology are needed in the future for the expanded application of this study.

Spatial - Frequency Analysis of time-varying Coherence using ERP signals for attentional visual stimulus (시각 자극의 집중에 따른 시간 변화에 대한 뇌 유발전위의 공간 - 주파수간 상관 변화 분석)

  • In this study, we analyzed spatial-frequency relationship related brain function for change of the time during attentional visual stimulus through the analysis of Coherence. With experimentation about ERP(Event Related Potential)data, it revealed that change of the phase synchronization between different scalp locations at ${\theta}$, ${\alpha}$ band. ERP between left and right frontal lobes, between the frontal and central lobes showed the phase synchronization at the P100, N200, ERP between the frontal and occipital lobes showed the phase synchronization at the P300 related information of visual stimulus. Compared to STFT using the window of a fixed length, CWT is able to multi-resolution analysis with the adjustment of parameters of mother wavelet. Thus, coherence results with CWT was found to be effective for analysis of time-varying spatial-frequency relationship in ERP. The phase synchronization for inattentional visual stimulus was not observed.

  • This study is analyzed survey based on classes of computational thinking to identify problem solving ability, to reflect them in curriculum plan for software education. Through analyzing difficulties on computational thinking learners by pre/post test on problem solving ability, the education method of software curriculum was proposed. For this study, the subject, scope of content, and activity plan were organized into 15 weeks of software curriculum for 2 hours per week, and questionnaire was conducted for 63 students. As a result, the 'Humanities Departments' have shown higher problem solving ability improvement than 'Science and Engineering Departments'. Based on the results, in order to cultivate creative fusion-type talent, the theoretical systems that fundamentally define thinking and perception must be fused with each other. In addition, software education should be improved to be extended to non-majors in various fields.

  • This study designed and implemented a web-based computing environment for geovisual analytics using HTML5 canvas. The computing environment supports visualization tools and user's interaction. The visualization tools are cluster map, animated map, temporal parallel coordinate plot, and temporal heat map chart. Users can explore the temporal changes of cluster using multiple view and brushing technique. The computing environment that works well across browsers is used in the computing environment with multiple devices.

  • In this paper, we proposed and implemented a crime prediction algorithm based upon crime influential factors. To collect the crime-related big data, we used a data which had been collected and was published in the supreme prosecutors' office. The algorithm analyzed various crime patterns in Seoul from 2011 to 2013 using the spatial statistics analysis. Also, for the crime prediction algorithm, we adopted a Bayesian network. The Bayesian network consist of various spatial, populational and social characteristics. In addition, for the more precise prediction, we also considered date, time, and weather factors. As the result of the proposed algorithm, we could figure out the different crime patterns in Seoul, and confirmed the prediction accuracy of the proposed algorithm.

  • In modern war, Intercept Performance of SAM(Surface to Air Missile) is gaining importance as range and precision of Missile and Guided Weapon on information warfare have been improved. An aerial defence system using Surface-to-air Radar and Guided Missile is needed to be built for prediction and defense from threatening aerial attack. When developing SAM, M&S is used to free from a time limit and a space restriction. M&S is widely applied to education, training, and design of newest Weapon System. This study was conducted to develop simulator for evaluation of Intercept Performance of SAM. In this study, architecture of Intercept Performance of SAM analysis simulator for estimation of Intercept Performance of various SAM was suggested and developed. The developed Intercept Performance of SAM analysis simulator was developed by C++ and Direct3D, and through 3D visualization using the Direct3D, it shows procedures of the simulation on a user animation window. Information about design and operation of Fighting model is entered through input window of the simulator, and simulation engine consisted of Object Manager, Operation Manager, and Integrated Manager conducts modeling and simulation automatically using the information, so the simulator gives user feedback in a short time.

  • 본 논문은 화력발전소 적용을 위한 경보처리 기반 고장진단 전문가 시스템(APDX(Alarm Processing and Diagnosis Expert System)개발에 관하여 논의한다. 본 연구에서 제시된 경보처리 알고리즘은 근본적으로는 경보 인과관계 트리를 사용하고 있으나 최종 원인 경보선택에 있어서는 경보 발생시간과 경보 우선순위 Meta-Rul를 활용한다. 경보처리 모듈에서 처리된 원인경보를 근거로 하여 본 원인경보와 관련된 고장부위를 진단하게 된다. 진단모듈에서는 경보에 관련된 센서들과 고장들 사이의 관계를 정상적으로 모델링하고 센서들의 트랜드를 정성적 해석기로 분석하여 증가, 정상, 감소의 세가지 상태에 대한 신뢰도를 출력한다. 또한 각 경보로부터 고장이 예상되는 고장타입을 센서 천이도로 모델링하여 진단에 활용된다. 최종적으로 추론모듈에서 퍼지(Fuzzy) 추론 알고리즘을 이용하여 모델된 고장 타입과 계산된 고장과의 매칭과정을 통하여 진단을 수행하게 되며, 계산 창 (Window)를 변경하면서 고장을 재 확인하게 된다.

  • SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language)은 멀티미디어 객체들의 시간적, 공간적 배열이 가능한 XML기반의 언어로서 웹브라우저상에서 효과적인 멀티미디어 표현을 가능하게 한다. 기존의 교육시스템에서는 멀티미디어컨텐츠의 동기화표현이 불가능하거나 별도의 클라이언트 어플리케이션이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 통합 언어인 SMIL의 메타모델을 분석하고 적용한 교육컨텐츠의 개발을 제안하고, 별도의 플러그인이나 어플리케이션이 필요없이 브라우저상에서 표현가능한 멀티미디어 교육컨텐츠를 설계하였다.

Parametric Study on the Impact-Echo Method using Mock-Up Shafts (모형말뚝을 이용한 충격반향기법의 영향 요소 연구)

  • 본 연구는 비검측공 시험법으로서 널리 사용되고 있는 충격반향기법(impact-echo test)의 적용서을 수치해석 및 실내 실험을 통하여 분석해 보았다. 즉, 결함이 없는 말뚝과 결함이 있는 말뚝에 대하여 1차원 및 2차원 축대칭 유한요소해석을 실시하였으며, 또한 모노캐스트라고 하는 일종의 플라스틱 원형 봉의 말뚝에 축대창 공극, 비축대칭 공극, 병목부 및 단면 확대부와 같은 결함을 각각 크기와 깊이를 변화시켜 제작한 후 공기 중과 지반 내부에서 충격반향기법 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 충격반향기법의 말뚝 결함 탐지능력은 수치해석에서 얻은 결과와 함께 결함의 크기와 위치에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났으며 결함의 크기가 커질수록 탐지의 정확도가 향상되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 결함의 상대면적이 말뚝 단면적의 50% 이상이면 충격반향기법에 의하여 결함의 위치를 파악할 수 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 공기 중 보다 지반에 근입 된 말뚝의 경우가 더욱 명확한 신호를 제공해주는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 시간영역의 신호가 주파수 영역의 신호 보다 말뚝의 결함 크기에 더 민감히 반응하므로 주파수 영역에서 탐지할 수 없는 작은 크기의 결함을 시간 영역에서는 탐지할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This paper studies an automatic expansion of dialogue examples using the logs of an example-based dialogue system. Conventional approaches to example-based dialogue system manually construct dialogue examples between humans and a Chatbot, which are labor intensive and time consuming. The proposed method automatically classifies natural utterance pairs and adds them into dialogue example database. Experimental results show that lexical, POS and modality features are useful for classifying natural utterance pairs, and prove that the dialogue examples can be automatically expanded using the logs of a dialogue system.
