A simple approach to refraction statics with the Generalized Reciprocal Method and the Refraction Convolution Section (GRM과 RCS 방법을 이용한 굴절파 정적 시간차를 구하는 간단한 방법)

  • We derive refraction statics for seismic data recorded in a hard rock terrain, in which there are large and rapid variations in the depth of weathering. The statics corrections range from less than 10 ms to more than 70 ms, often over distances as short as 12 receiver intervals. This study is another demonstration of the importance in obtaining accurate initial refraction models of the weathering in hard rock terrains in which automatic residual statics may fail. We show that the statics values computed with a simple model of the weathering using the Generalized Reciprocal Method (GRM) and the Refraction Convolution Section (RCS) are comparable in accuracy to those computed with a more complex model of the weathering, using least-mean-squares inversion with the conjugate gradient algorithm (Taner et al., 1998). The differences in statics values between the GRM model and that of Taner et al. (1998) systematically vary from an average of 2ms to 4ms over a distance of 8.8 km. The differences between these two refraction models and the final statics model, which includes the automatic residual values, are generally less than 5 ms. The residuals for the GRM model are frequently less than those for the model of Taner et al. (1998). The RCS statics are picked approximately 10 ms later, but their relative accuracy is comparable to that of the GRM statics. The residual statics values show a general correlation with the refraction statics values, and they can be reduced in magnitude by using a lower average seismic velocity in the weathering. These results suggest that inaccurate average seismic velocities in the weathered layer may often be a source of short-wavelength statics, rather than any shortcomings with the inversion algorithms in determining averaged delay times from the traveltimes.

  • As higher quality of image is required for digital image scaling, longer processing time is required. Therefore the technology that can make higher quality image quickly is needed. We propose the double linear-cubic convolution interpolation which creates the high quality image with low complexity and hardware resources. The proposed interpolation methods which are made up of four one-dimensional linear interpolations and one one-dimensional cubic convolution perform linear-cubic convolution interpolation in horizontal and vertical direction. When compared in aspects of peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR), performance time and amount of hardware resources, the proposed interpolation provided better PSNR, low complexity and less hardware resources than bicubic convolution interpolation.

  • 본 논문에서는 한 쌍의 센서를 이용하여 미지의 수중 음향 신호의 시간지연의 차 (Time Delay Difference)를 추정하고 탐지하는 알고리즘을 다루고 있다. 전형적인 시간지연 차의 최적화 추정 기법은 두 신호의 상관관계(Cross Correlation)에 의한 ML(Maximum likelihood)추정으로 구할 수 있지만, 실제 수중 음향 환경 하에서 시간 지연뿐만 아니라 표 적의 이동에 의하여 발생하는 도플러 효과로 신호의 주파수도 변하게 된다. 이러한 신호 주 파수의 올바른 고려 없이 단순히 두 신호의 시간지연만을 추정하는 방법은 불가피한 에러를 생성하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 시시각각 변하는 시간지연의 차를 구하기 위한 준 최적화 기 법인 확률분포 함수의 Recursive Filter에 시간 지연 차와 도플러효과의 2차원 확률분포 함 수를 적용한 추정 알고리즘을 제안한다. 관측된 신호의 리샘플링(Resampling)을 통하여 도 플러 효과를 보상한 후 2차원 Conditional likelihood를 구하고 Projection과 Correction 과정 을 통하여 시간지연과 도플러 효과에 대한 사후확률을 구한다. 그리고 이러한 알고리즘을 가상 시나리오에 대한 모의실험을 통하여 평가한다.

Dynamic Analysis of MLS Difference Method using First Order Differential Approximation (1차 미분 근사를 이용한 MLS차분법의 동적해석)

  • This paper presents dynamic algorithm of the MLS(moving least squares) difference method using first order differential Approximation. The governing equations are only discretized by the first order MLS derivative approximation. The system equation consists of an assembly of the approximate function, so the shape of system equation is similar to FEM(finite element method). The CDM(central difference method) is used for time integration of dynamic equilibrium equation. The natural frequency analyses of the MLS difference method and FEM are performed, and two analysis results are compared. Also, the accuracy of the proposed numerical method is verified by displaying the dynamic analysis results together with the results by the existing second order differential approximation. In the process of assembling the first order MLS derivative approximation, the oscillation error was suppressed and the stress distribution was interpreted as relatively uniform.

  • 현재 금속 성형공정에 대한 해석법으로 강소성 유한요소법이 널리 이용되고 있다. 강소성 유한요소법에서는 주어진 시간에서 속도장을 얻고 가공물 형상을 시간증분 만큼 갱신하는 과정을 반복하여 비정상상태 금속성형공정의 해석한다. 일반적인 강소성 유한요소법은 형상갱신(Geometry update) 과정에서 오일러법(Euler method)을 이용한다. 오일러법에서는 시간증분의 크기가 해의 정밀도에 중요한 인자이다. 충분히 정밀한 해를 얻기 위해, 작은 시간증분을 이용하여 비정상상태 금속성형공정을 해석함으로써 해석시간이 많이 걸리는 단점이 있으며 형상갱신에 따른 가공물 체적손실(Volume loss)이 발생한다.(중략)

Changes of Vitamin C and Superoxide Dismutase(SOD)-like Activity of Persimmon Leaf Tea by Processing Method and Extraction Condition (감잎의 처리방법과 추출조건에 따른 감잎차의 Vitamin C와 Superoxide Dismutase(SOD) 유사활성의 변화)

  • The persimmon leaf tea was produced from persimmon leaves by three different methods (conventional, steamed, fermented) and the changes of total vitamin C and superoxide dismutase(SOD)-like activity were investigated. The amount of total vitamin C was the highest in fermented persimmon leaf tea which was 47% of total vitamin C of raw persimmon leaves. The SOD-like activity of conventional and fermented persimmon leaf teas were a little higher than that of steamed. The total vitamin C of steamed persimmon leaf tea was decreased slowly as the extraction time was increased. That of fermented persimmon leaf tea was increased generally at $60^{\circ}C\;and\;70^{\circ}C$, and increased until 5min and then decreased at $80^{\circ}C\;and\;90^{\circ}C$, The optimum extraction condition of total vitamin C in fermented persimmon leaf tea was 3min and 5min at $80^{\circ}C\;and\;90^{\circ}C$, 5min and 10min at $60^{\circ}C$. The total vitamin C of conventional persimmon leaf tea was so little that could not be measured by DNP method. The SOD-like activity of conventional and steamed persimmon leaf teas were increased and that of fermented showed the trend of increasing-decreasing-increasing. Fermented persimmon leaf tea had higher SOD-like activity than conventional and steamed at all tested conditions, and the optimum extraction condition of SOD-like activity was 3min and 10min at $80^{\circ}C\;and\;90^{\circ}C$.

  • Alkaline elution profiles showed that the frequency of DNA single strand breaks associated with DNA-protein crosslinks in cells treated with both an inducing dose of MMC $(MMC_1)$ and a challenge dose of MMC $(MMC_2)$ was slightly less than that in cells treated with MMC alone. The amount of unscheduled DNA synthesisi in cells treated with both $MMC_1$ and $MMC_2$ was greater than that in cells treated with MMC alone. This enhancement of exicision repair detected by UDS autoradiography and alkaline elution, was not observed, when cells were incubated with cyclohexmide between the two treatments of $MMC_1$ and $MMC_2$. These results suggest that MMC-damaged DNA from Chinses hamster cells is repaired by excision repair mechanisms that require de novo protein synthesis for enhancement, and that an inducible repair mechanism may exist in CHO cells.

  • 2차의 섭동법과 경계요소법에 기초한 시간영역해석법은 불규칙파의 파동장에 있어서 파-구조물의 비선형간섭을 해석할 수 있는 해석법이지만. 파와 구조물의 운동이 정상상태에 도달하기까지 시간스텝으로 계산을 수행하여야 하므로 계산시간이 매우 길어지고, 각 성분파와 그에 의한 운동요소를 평가하는 것이 어렵다. 반면에 주파수영역해석법은 계산시간이 짧고, 각 성분요소들의 변화특성을 쉽게 판단할 수 있지만, 불규칙파동장으로의 적용이 현실적으로 어렵다는 단점을 가진다. 본 연구에서는 잠제 등에 대해서 전개되어 있는 주파수영역해석법을 임의형상의 부체 구조물에 대해 새롭게 수식의 전개를 수행하고, 압축공기주입 부체구조물에 적용하여 실험 및 이론해석결과로부터 그의 타당성을 확인한다. 이 때 압축공기의 거동은 Boyle법칙을 사용하여 평가한다.

Explicit Transient Simulation of SH-waves Using a Spectral Element Method (스펙트럴 요소법을 이용한 SH파 전파의 외연적 시간이력해석)

  • This paper introduces a new explicit spectral element method for the simulation of SH-waves in semi-infinite domains. To simulate the wave motion in unbounded domains, it is necessary to reduce the infinite extent to a finite computational domain of interest. To prevent the wave reflection from the trunctated boundaries, perfectly matched layer(PML) wave-absorbing boundary is introduced. The forward problem for simulating SH-waves in PML-truncated domains can be formulated as second-order PDEs. The second-order semi-discrete form of the governing PDEs is constructed by using a mixed spectral elements with Legendre-gauss-Lobatto quadrature method, which results in a diagonalized mass matrix. Then the second-order semi-discrete form is transformed to a first-order, whose solutions are calculated by the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. Numerical examples showed that solutions of SH-wave in the two-dimensional analysis domain resulted in stable and accurate, and reflections from truncated boundaries could be reduced by using PML boundaries. Elastic wave propagation analysis using explicit time integration method may be apt for solving larger domain problems such as three-dimensional elastic wave problem more efficiently.

A Study on the Stochastic Sensitivity in Structural Dynamics (구조물의 동적 응답에 대한 확률 민감도 해석에 관한 연구)

  • 구조물의 동적 응답 해석 문제에 대해서, 확률 유한요소법을 논의코자, 기조의 유한요소 해석법에 수반 변수법(adjoint variable approach)과 2차 섭동법(second order perturbation method)을 적용한다. 동적 민감도의 시간 응답을 고려하기 위해서 모든 시간에 대해서 갖는 구속 조건의 범함수 형태를 취하고, 시간 적분에 있어서 중첩법(fold superposition technique)에 근거를 둔 수치 해석이 훨씬 더 효과적임을 보인다. 본 논문의 확률 유한요소 해석법은 기존의 유한요소 해석법은 기존의 유한요소 코드에 맞추어 쉽게 적용할 수 있는 이점이 있음을 보이며, 이의 검정을 위해서, 2차원과 3차원 프레임 구조물에 대한 수치 해석을 하고 그 결과를 검토해 보았다.
