In the digital era, Korean universities are using real-time remote lecture platforms as a tool for learning. However, it is confusing due to low usage experience problems, and usability studies are needed. The purpose of this study is to measure, analyze, and propose gaze tracking and learning experiences according to the UI design layout of ZOOM. A total of 30 subjects were selected to conduct eye tracking and survey when learning. The experiment showed that grid layouts have a higher emotional realism and learning satisfaction than other layouts. Furthermore, it turns out that participants focused the most attention on grid layouts. Therefore, for high learning experience, grid layouts and layouts that visually highlight participants and induce communication are needed.

Identifying the exact train and the type of train boarded by passengers is practically cumbersome. Previous studies identified the trains boarded by each passenger by matching the Automated Fare Collection (AFC) data and the train schedule diagram. However, this approach has been shown to be inefficient as the exact train boarded by a considerable number of passengers cannot be accurately determined. In this study, we demonstrate that the AFC data - diagram matching technique could not estimate 28% of the train type selected by passengers using the Seoul Metro line no.9. To obtain more accurate results, this paper developed a two-step method for estimating the train type boarded by passengers by applying the AFC data - diagram matching method followed by a mixture distribution analysis. As a result of the analysis, we derived reasonable express train use/non-use passenger classification points based on 298 origin-destination pairs that satisfied the verification criteria of this study.

Through this study, we intend to study user satisfaction in order to verify whether there is a need for full-scale research, development and commercialization of document viewers in a VR environment. VR content consists of realistic 3D graphics and 360-degree video, and provides a synesthesia experience and immersion. We developed and tested a VR document viewer prototype that can utilize this concept as a document viewing system. It can act as a viewer that provides an interactive viewing environment according to the user's body interaction and the direction of the field of view, and it can be said that the feature of VR document viewer is that it can draw the user's high level of immersion and concentration when using the viewer. The developed prototype was tested in a test group consisting of 100 VR experiences and device owners for about 1 hour and 3 days a day, and then a questionnaire survey in the form of a fixed selection question was conducted. This study is a prototype study of a document viewer suitable for a virtual reality environment, and can lead to a sense of immersion when reading a document, and suggest a new document viewer direction that is effective for visual fatigue and visual perception of the document.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate urban parks and green spaces within the public service framework by identifying priority elements. This study surveyed 455 residents from 80 dongs(neighborhoods), of 5 Gu(districts) districts in Daejeon. The results were as follows. Regarding the evaluation of urban parks as a public service, the average survey score, of all 46 questions, was distributed from 2.46 to 3.54(Likert 5 point scale). Interesting findings can be observed in that most of the survey participants gave high scores to Daejon's natural green environments and geographical traits. That is, Daejon residents perceived their urban nature spaces as a natural geographical environment rather than a public service provided by their local government. Therefore, it seems necessary for the local government, by and large, to improve urban parks and urban green space programs. The low scoring items were 'citizen's participation'(mean 2.46), 'acceptance of complaints, comments, and improvement proposals'(mean 2.54), 'citizen's respect', 'inclusive design' (for the physically challenged-mean 2.55), 'diverse programs and activities in the urban park'(mean 2.55) and 'implementation of revision proposals by citizens'(mean 2.61). These results indicate that citizen participation in planning and opinion sharing is needed to build public services that are satisfactory to users. To evaluate the park and green space from the viewpoint of public services is a useful method with a new point of view. In accordance with this study, the factor of 'supply decision maker' is a statistically meaningful variable of resident satisfaction while earlier studies on the satisfaction studies of physical environment, hardly discovered variables on 'supply decision maker', 'acceptance of resident opinions', and 'information usage'. Responding to or taking positive action according to significant factors, such as the findings of this study, can expand the role of public officials to exert a more positive influence on urban parks and green spaces.

Recently, The development of DTV receiver and the need of its additional services have been increased vastly. In this paper, we implement new closed caption engine for the deaf and hard of hearing person and languages studying on DTV receiver, The specification of domestic closed caption is almost adopted that of EIA-608A. In this paper, with fully following the specification, we will present how to implement functions of closed caption with new algorithm. the function includes paint-on, Pop-on, roll-up/down, etc. experimental results show that the proposed technique provides satisfactory performance on DTV receiver.

비트율 제어 알고리듬의 목적은 ‘비트율 제한조건을 만족하면서 화질을 일정하게 유지하는 것’이다. 그러나 통상적인 비트율 제어 알고리듬에서는 화질을 일정하게 유지시키는 것 보다는 버퍼의 오버플로우 및 언더플로우가 발생하지 않도록 비트를 분배하는 것이 주된 목적으로서 시퀀스가 진행함에 따라 불가피하게 시각적으로 바람직하지 않은 화질의 등락이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 비트율 제어의 본질적인 목적에 부합하도록 버퍼 제한조건을 만족시키는 범위에서 화질을 가능한 한 일정하게 유지하는 방법을 제시한다. 제안방법에서는 먼저 일반적인CBR(constant bit rate) 알고리듬으로 부호화를 먼저 시작한 후, 일정 크기의 슬라이딩 윈도우 내에서 발생한 시퀀스를 분석하여 다음 단계에서 사용할 양자화 파라미터의 기준값을 결정한다. 마지막 단계에서는 다시 시퀀스의 처음으로 돌아가 얻어진 기준 양자화 파라미터를 사용하여 VBR(variable bir tate)의 부호화를 수행한다. 제안 방법은 실시간의 제한요소가 엄격하지 않은 응용분야에서 유용할 것으로 기대된다.

The SAS macro faces program by Friendly (1992) is for Chernoff face analysis, which is one of methods for the visualization representation of multivariate data. In this paper, we examined 18 face features used in the program and presented the modified program depending on the definition of a good face in days present. In addition, a good bank evaluation for 15 domestic banks was performed through Chernoff face analysis based on 11 bank economic indicators representing stability, the consumer satisfaction, soundness, and banks profitability.

The National Library of Korea installs and operates various signs for the purpose of efficient use of visitor and information transmission. In this study, the present status of the existing signatures of the National Library of Korea was surveyed and the satisfaction survey was conducted for the patron and staff. Based on this, we suggested the improvement of visual continuity (connectivity), changing the installation location, reduction of excess sign, limitations of temporary attachment signatures, and easy to understand contents as user's guide to efficient library use and improvement of National Central Library sign system.

스타트업은 우리 경제의 성장 동력으로 자리매김하고 있으며, 다양한 분야에서 스타트업이 탄생해 일부는 스케일업(scale-up)하여 유니콘 기업으로 발전하는 반면 일부는 데스밸리(Death Valley)를 넘지 못하고 실패한다. 스타트업이 창업 이후 성공적인 사업화를 통해 지속적인 성장을 이룰 수 있도록 공공과 민간부문에서 다양한 노력을 펼쳐 나가고 있으며, 창업자 보육에 필요한 서비스를 종합적으로 제공하는 액셀러레이터가 스타트업 육성 모델로 주목받고 있다. 액셀러레이터에 대한 관심이 증가하는 것에 비례하여 액셀러레이팅 프로그램의 효과에 대한 연구도 최근 활발하게 이루어지고 있으며, 많은 연구에서 액셀러레이팅이 기업성과에 미치는 긍정적인 효과가 검증되고 있다. 액셀러레이팅 프로그램의 운용 주체와 내용이 다양하여 프로그램 효과 분석도 다각적인 시각에서 이루어질 필요가 있으며, 본 연구에서는 동일한 프로그램에 참여하였음에도 불구하고 기업성과에 차이가 발생하는 것이 참여자의 특성에 기인하는지를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 액셀러레이팅 프로그램에 참여하는 스타트업 CEO의 특성에 초점을 맞춘 연구모형을 설정하였다. 액셀러레이팅 프로그램에 대한 만족도를 독립변수로, 기업성과인 재무적성과와 비재무적성과를 종속변수로 설정하고, 자기효능감, 낙관주의, 희망, 회복탄력성인 긍정심리자본을 매개변수로 설정하여 CEO의 긍정심리자본 정도에 따라 액셀러레이팅 프로그램의 효과에 차이가 있는지 실증적 분석을 통해 검증하고자 한다. 연구 대상은 중소기업 지원 정책금융기관인 신용보증기금과 중소기업은행의 액셀러레이팅 프로그램인 스타트업 네스트(Start-up NEST)와 IBK창공에 참여한 경험이 있는 스타트업 CEO를 대상으로 하였다.
