Implementation of a Grant Processor for Upstream Cell Transmission at the ONU in the ATM-PON (ATM-PON의 ONU에서 상향 셀 전송을 위한 승인처리기의 구현)

  • In the ATM-PON (Asynchronous Transfer Mode-Passive Optical Network), the downstream cell transmitted by an OLT is broadcast to all ONUs. The ONU receives selectively its own cells by VP filtering. On the other hand, the upstream cell can be transmitted by ONU in the case of receiving a grant from the OLT. After providing the grant to an ONU, the OLT expects the arrival of a cell after an elapse of the equalized round trip delay. ITU-T G.983.1 recommends that one bit error is allowed between the expected arrival time and the actual arrival time at the OLT. Because the ONU processes the different delay to each type of grant (ranging, user cell, and mimi-slot grant), it is not simple to design the transmission part of ONU. In this paper, we implement a grant processor which provides the delay accurately in the ONU TC chip with the FPGA. For the given equalized delay, it deals with the delay for the cell, the byte, and the bit unit by using the shift register, the byte counter, and the D flip-flop, respectively. We verify the operation of the grant processor by the time simulation and the measurement of the optical board output.

  • In this paper, we propose a system that uses image data and beacon data to classify authorized and unauthorized perosn who are allowed to enter a group facility. The image data collected through the IP camera uses YOLOv4 to extract a person object, and collects beacon signal data (UUID, RSSI) through an application to compose a fingerprinting-based radio map. Beacon extracts user location data after CNN-LSTM-based learning in order to improve location accuracy by supplementing signal instability. As a result of this paper, it showed an accuracy of 93.47%. In the future, it can be expected to fusion with the access authentication process such as QR code that has been used due to the COVID-19, track people who haven't through the authentication process.

  • We analysed the current status of development of GM crops and national biosafety framework including legislation-related agricultural GMO in China to provide the policy for the development of global GM crops in Korea. In China, several GM crops including cotton, petunia, tomato, sweet pepper, poplar, and papaya have been approved for commercialization and they have been cultivated at more than 4 million ha. In addition, GM rice and GM maize have also obtained approval for productive testing in 2009. China will be the first country to approve GM rice for commercialization. Prior to commercialization in China, all GM crops must be approved by government authority for biosafety assessment specified by national legislation including restricted field testing, enlarged field testing, productive testing and safety certificate. According to China's legislation, agricultural GMOs have been classified by research and testing, production and processing. All GMOs must go through 3 steps of field testing (restricted, enlarged and productive). Prior to conducting each field testing, it has to be approved by government authority. It is assumed that at least one to two years will be taken for each step of field testing (total 4 to 8 years to obtain the final safety certificate) along with a large amount of budget.

  • 현재 국토교통부가 추진 중인 국내 공항 개발 중기계획에는 소형 공항뿐 만 아니라 수상 공항 등 다각적인 소형항공기를 활용한 항공운송계획을 수립하고 있다. 과거 전파항법을 사용하는 기존의 계기접근절차에서 CFIT, LOC-I, LALT, UIMC 등의 위험요소를 줄이고, CNS/ATM 환경하에서 보다 안전한 비정밀접근절차를 수행할 수 있는 탑재용 항공전자장비 구성 요구사항을 제시하고 향후 소형 항공기 운용에 안전성을 증진하고 CNS/ATM 환경하에 모의 비행실험을을 확보한 비정밀절차 운용 결과를 분석하여 소형항공기 항공전자장비의 기술 표준 및 형식 승인을 위한 안을 제시해 보고자 한다.

A Study on the Meaning, Effects, and Procedure of Recognizing Arbitral Awards (중재판정 승인의 개념, 효력 및 절차에 관한 연구)

  • When a court recognizes an arbitral award, it acknowledges that the award is valid and binding, and thereby gives it a set of effects similar to those of a court's judgment, among which res judicata is the most important. The res judicata effect of an arbitral award generally forbids parties to an action from subsequently litigating claims that were raised in a prior arbitration. In common law countries, res judicata may also preclude re-adjudication of issues raised and decided in a prior arbitration. The Korean Arbitration Act acknowledges the rights of parties to an arbitral award to seek not only an enforcement judgment but also a recognition judgment on an arbitral award. Therefore, the question arises whether or not the winning party in an arbitration must acquire a recognition judgment on the arbitral award in order to enjoy the effects of a recognized award. However, according to the case law and generally accepted views, an arbitral award is automatically recognized without any additional procedure, as long as it satisfies the requirements for recognition. Therefore, in order to resolve this question, it is desirable to eliminate the statutory clause that stipulates the right to seek recognition judgment.

  • In this paper, we propose the access control system based bluetooth using the MAC address of the smart device. Access control system that propose compares the smart device MAC address entry and exit and MAC address that is registered with the server. Depending on whether the match was compared, access control is performed. Result of the experiment, control of door is possible only by bluetooth pairing of the bluetooth module and smart device. Therefore, it does not require access to another tool.In addition, Action for access approval is omitted. Therefore, the access authorization procedure is simplified compared to existing access control systems, it is possible to improve the convenience.

  • 정보보호 시스템 평가제도는 안정성과 신뢰성이 검증된 시스템사용을 권장하고 이를 통해 정보보호 제품 개발을 유도하며 정보보호 산업 육성을 기여하기 위한 것이다. 최근 정보보호 제품의 해외 경쟁력 증대를 위하여 인증된 평가기관 설립의 필요성이 대두되고 있어 본 논문에서는 국내 환경에 적합한 국내 정보보호 시스템 평가인증 제도의 평가기관 자격 기준을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 해외 각 국의 인증 요구사항 및 절차를 항목별로 상세히 비교 분석하였으며, 이를 토대로 국내 실정에 맞는 국내 정보보호 시스템 평가기관 승인 요구사항을 도출하였다. 적절히 제안된 평가 기관 설립 기준안은 평가가기관의 추가 설립을 위한 기준안으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • The cruise industry is one of the world's fastest growing device industry which is structural construction coasts are expensive. Cruise out-fittings are thirty times compare with general large vessels. According to the characteristics of materials or equipments, most equipments are imported from europe. At present domestic shipbuilding industries and minor enterprises have a hard times therefore enhancing technology for the cruise industry could be infused vitality on the industries. If domestic small and midium industries have high technology for the cruise ship, domestic small and midium industries can have global competitiveness compare with european equipment suppliers which has small-scale and high technology. Therefore on this study, cruise ship's new equipment development and a study for the performance assessment and classification type approval certificate was carried out.

지상파 DMB가 ITU 국제표준으로 승인되기까지

  • 우리나라는 Eureka-147 방식의 디지털 라디오를 이동 멀티미디어로 확장하기로 하고 지상파 DMB로 불리는 비디오규격을 개발하였다. 지상파 DMB의 국제표준화를 위해 우리나라가 2004년 3월에 시스템 개요와 필드 테스트 결과를 ITU-R에 기고함에 따라 ITU-R 내에서 본격적인 이동 멀티미디어 표준화 논의가 시작되었고 우리나라 지상파 DMB 외에 일본의 ISDB-T, 노키아의 DVB-H와 퀄컴의 FLO 등을 대상으로 이동 멀티미디어 시스템 표준으로 개발하게 되었다. 3년여에 걸쳐 각 국간의 첨예한 이해관계에 의한 의견충돌과 합의를 거쳐 표준안이 작성되었으며, 표준화 방식은 휴대수신용으로 한정하고 각 시스템들을 알파벳에 따른 멀티미디어 시스템으로 명명하였다. 우리나라 지상파 DMB는 유럽 진출을 염두에 두고 디지털 음성방식 A인 Eureka-147 과의 호환성을 강조하기 위해 멀티미디어 시스템 A로 이름을 붙이기로 하였다. 지난 4월에 열린 ITU-R SG 6 회의에서 이동 멀티미디어의 표준화를 최종적으로 결정되었고 이후 회원국의 동의회신 절차를 거쳐 2007년 12월에 지상파 DMB가 ITU에서 휴대이동방송 시스템 중 하나로서 승인되었다.

Review on Soil Erosion and Loss Management System of the Calgary City Government, Albert, Canada (캐나다 앨버트 주 캘거리 시의 토사관리제도에 관한 고찰)

  • In this paper, soil erosion and soil loss management system (SMS) of the City of Calgary in Albert, Canada was reviewed. Regulatory basis supporting this soil management system, permit process and conditions, guidelines and principles for the SMS, and monitoring and repair duties, inspection were discussed. Permit process in the City of Calgary is handled mainly by Urban Development Division, in which special task force called CPAG (Coorporative Planning Application Group) (if necessary circulated through related subdivisions). Inspects all the permit conditions and decides permit or refusal, and LUM (Land Use and Mobility) advertises the approval, if there is no appeals, permit is released to developers. If permit is rejected, applicant can appeals Development Appeal Board, it can approve or reject. In addition to permit, the city has manual for soil management plan, which includes BMP selection, design, monitoring, maintenance, and inspection activities. Perfect SMS policy does not necessarily guarantee relieving the soil-particle related pollution problem, but in Korea, we have to recognize that construction works during development is potentially the most destructive stage of environmental pollution. The central and local governments must make preparations for the effective and tight regulations and ordinance which is appropriate for regional social-economic conditions.
