현대 패션 컬렉션에 나타난 아웃도어 룩의 특성 연구 - 2014년에서 2015년 여성복 컬렉션을 중심으로 - (A Study of the Outdoor Look Features in Modern Fashion Collections -Focusing on women's ready-to-wear collection 2014 to 2015-)

  • Outdoor wear, which is typically worn for outdoor activities, has become a style that is worn on a daily basis, much like ordinary clothes, through recent megatrends. There are new approaches to outdoor wear with high-fashion brands and designers recently taking part in the trend. This indicates that outdoor wear has already reached high-fashion, no longer making it just a megatrend or daily fashion. Therefore this study aims to find new features of outdoor looks and designs, through the latest women's ready-to-wear collections from 2014 to 2015. The study will focus on mega collections, which have shown many new approaches, and searches to change and development the present day outdoor look design, by using the word 'outdoor look' which is explained as a 'style' in a broad sense, and using it a general term of 'clothes'. High fashion brands have pursued changing their styles by mixing their designs with outdoor wear's variety, functionality and details; attempting new approaches and challenges. Due to these updated changes, the outdoor look is thriving and becoming part of high fashion. Looking forward to future new approaches and the development of the outdoor look will help catapult this type of 'style' into a new category of modern fashion.

  • 아웃도어용 스포츠웨어 의류분야는 소비자들의 욕구가 기능성, 착용감, 패션성을 매우 중시하는 고감성, 고기능성 제품특성을 요구하고 있으며 이를 가장 충족시킬 수 있는 패션 트랜드로서 보온, 경량화 제품이 가장 급부상하고 있는 아이템이다. 경량성의 쾌적 스포츠 웨어에 사용되는 주요 합섬소재인 PET, Nylon을 이용하여 소재의 세섬화, 중공 소재를 통한 제품 개발이 대부분으로 보온, 경량, 속건 등 의복에서의 쾌적 기능성을 개선하기 위하여 개발되는 소재 및 제품의 경량화, 보온 및 흡한속 건성 부여를 통한 기능 요소와 신질감 발현의 촉감요소를 통한 차별화 된 제품개발이 요구되고 있다. 보온 기능성을 부여하는 기술로써 가장 일반적인 기술은 섬유 내부에 중공을 형성하여 경량성과 보온성을 동시에 가지는 기능성 원사 제조 기술과 섬유 내에 열에너지를 흡수할 수 있는 물질을 넣어 외부의 태양광을 섬유내로 흡수하여 열에너지로 전환, 축적함으로서 보온성을 향상시키는 방식이 있다. 주로 경량 보온의 동시 발현을 위하여 중공 형성을 통한 보온 소재 개발이 활발하게 일어나고 있는 실정이다. 가장 많은 수요를 차지하고 있는 경량 보온성 중공사의 경우, 강도 저하, 염색 불량 등의 공정 애로점이 발생하며, 제직 및 가공 공정 시 원사 내 중공이 찌그러짐이 발생하므로 완제품 제조 후에는 중공의 기능이 제대로 발현되지 못하는 문제가 발생한다. 또한 알칼리 또는 용제를 사용하여 후용출 하는 중공사의 경우, 공정이 복잡함은 물론 환경에 유해한 공정이다. 특히, 감량 후 직물의 인열강도는 감량 전과 비교하여 감소하게 되는데 이는 이용성 polymer가 용출되면서 생긴 중공에 의해 섬도가 감소되어 강도가 저하됨을 알 수 있다. 따라서 Sheath 부분에 최대한 손상을 주지 않으면서 Core 부분을 완전 용출 시킬 수 있는 감량 조건을 확보할 필요가 있다. 이에 보온성, 경량성의 기능을 극대화시키고, 중공률 유지하는 최적 용출 가공 조건을 확립하고자 연구하였다.

국내 수영복의 디자인 트렌드 변화 (Trend Changes of Domestic Swimwear Design)

  • 적극적인 여가 시간의 활용으로 생활 스포츠와 관련된 스포츠 패션은 계속 발전되고 있다. 이에 비하여 국내 수영복 산업 분야는 특화된 트렌드 분석과 디자인 개발 등에서 타 영역에 비하여 앞서 가지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 국내 수영복 디자인의 사회 문화적 배경에 따른 디자인 트렌드를 고찰하여 현대복식사적인 흐름의 연구와 함께 패션 디자인 요소를 분석하여 수영복 디자인 개발을 위한 기초 연구 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 연구범위로는 1960년대부터 2014년 최근까지의 수집된 국내 수영복 브랜드의 상품 카탈로그 138권과 웹 사이트 8종의 1004스타일 자료에서 수영복 착장 사진 총 9,549개를 분석 대상으로 선정하여 이미지에 나타난 실루엣, 소재, 색상, 텍스타일 디자인 등의 조형적 특성을 분석하는 방법으로 진행하였다. 연구결과 사회 문화적 변화의 주기가 짧아지고, 트렌드가 다양화됨에 따라 수영복의 디자인도 변화의 폭이 커졌음을 알 수 있었다. 특히, 컬러와 텍스타일 디자인의 다양한 콘셉트 전개가 두드러졌다. 또한, 기술적으로는 신소재의 개발과 원단 프린팅 기술의 발전으로 착용감은 더욱 향상시키면서도 디자인의 구현이 용이한 방향으로 발전하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 이상 연구의 결과는 국내 시장에서의 수영복 디자인 개발에 기본 자료로서 활용 가능할 것이다.

스포츠 캐주얼웨어 소비자의 패션 라이프 스타일과 정보원과의 관계 (A Relationship with Sports Casualwear Consumer′s Fashion life Style and information source)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide consumers with practical information for reasonable purchasing by analyzing apparel purchasing behavior. information source use, demographic differences in terms of life style patterns, moreover, to support apparel manufacturers in producing goods and making a plan by developing more effective advertisements and efficient marketing strategy, such as media strategy. This study targeted 832 men and women wearing sports casual wear. Information source is used to analyze the data and MANOVA, ANOVA. Scheffe is employed for post-inspection and demographic bases are based on the frequency of each type. The followings are the conclusions of this study : 1. In case of print media, TV, PC factor, fashion advocates and individuality advocates most frequently used information source. In case of purchasing experience factor, individuality advocates skewed higher frequency than conformity type. and then, in case of observation information use factor, individuality advocates were ranked as the highest and conformity type as the lowest. In case of human information use factor, fashion advocates and individuality advocates showed higher frequency than practical type and conformity type. 2 In case of female, Individuality advocates was ranked as the highest. In case of male, practical type and conformity type were rank as the highest. Fashion advocates ranked as the lowest in any case. 3. Individuality advocates were ranked as the highest among people aged 14 to 16, practical type among 17 to 19, conformity type among 20 to 23, conformity type among over 20. 4. Middle school students tended to be the individuality advocates, high school students the practical type, university students the practical type and the conformity type, and company workers conformity type.

현대 스포츠 스타 패션 연구 - 데이비드 베컴과 타이거 우즈를 중심으로 - (A Study on Contemporary Sports Star Fashion - Focusing on David Beckham and Tiger Woods -)

  • The purpose of this study is to comprehend the contemporary sports star fashion and to contemplate aesthetic characteristics of sports star fashion, thereby to establish the styles of sports star fashion. For such purposes, this study first examines aesthetic characteristics of sports fashion and star fashion based on previous studies, in order to analyze aesthetic characteristics of sports star fashion, and conducts a case study by analyzing photographic materials of fashion styles of well-known male sports stars such as the English soccer player David Beckham and American golf player Tiger Woods. The result of this study is as follows: the aesthetic characteristics of the contemporary sports star fashion are virility, functionality, sensuality and deconstruction. (1) Virility emphasizes manly features by displaying trained and disciplined body. (2) Functionality is expressed through structural simplicity and temperance of decoration. High-tech textiles and fibers are favored in order to fit in comfortable bodily movement for the heavy exercises. (3) Sensuality, as an expression of indulgence of sexual pleasure, is expressed through bodily exposure. Lastly, (4) deconstruction, which means destroying existed boundaries of cultural categories, is shown as co-existence of design elements from different times and places, stereotypes and sensibilities. Virility and functionality are prominent characteristics expressed in sports uniforms and training costumes. Sensuality and deconstruction are shown in daily fashion and formal dress outside the sports field.

전도사 자수를 이용한 안전보호용 밀착형 스포츠웨어 개발 (The Development of Fitted Sports Wear for Safety and Protection Using Conductive Yarn Embroidery)

  • The objective of this study was to develop lightweight, stretchable, tight-fit smart sportswear using the conductive yarns into the garment and demonstrating its usefulness. Sportswears with the ability to control LEDs with respect to lighting of the surrounding were developed by applying embroidery with conductive yarns to 2 types of men's T-shirts and 2 types of women's leggings pants for outdoor activities and exercise purposes. LEDs were applied to the front and back of men's T-shirts and to the rear of the waist of women's leggings. Men's T-shirts were printed where the LEDs were to be applied, and inside, they were embroidered with conductive threads on the hot-melt fabric to be attached, and then connected with LED. Women's pants were embroidered on the elastic band, in the form of a sine wave that gives it ability to stretch, and finally the elastic band was hidden inside the waistband. The operation of the light sensor in the dark provided the ability to protect joggers from night drivers or cyclists. LEDs were activated when the wearer turns on the fashionable device on his/her shoulder by pressing it. It was able to reduce the risk of accidents by giving recognizability to vehicles, bicycles, and athletes approaching or passing by at night, and securing safe distance from vehicles, etc. Internal embroidery technology had the same flexible and lightweight functions as ordinary clothing products, making it possible to apply to tight-fit smart T-shirts or leggings pants designs.

스포츠 웨어 브랜드의 콜라보레이션, 원산지, 유행관여도가 중국소비자의 호의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Collaboration, Brand Origin, and Fashion Involvement of Sportswear Brands on Preference of Chinese Consumers)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and verify interaction effects of collaboration and brand origin as well as fashion involvement on consumer attitudes towards global sports apparel brands and Chinese local sports apparel brands targeting Chinese consumers. A survey was conducted on 425 Chinese women aged 19 to 34 years. Data were subjected to frequency analysis, reliability analysis, t-tests, 3-way ANOVA, and simple effect analysis. Results of the study are as follows. First, fashion involvement, collaboration, and brand country of origin all had a significant effect on consumer preference of Chinese consumers when purchasing sportswear. Second, fashion involvement and collaboration in purchasing sportswear had a significant interaction effect on consumer preference. Finally, collaboration, brand origin, and fashion involvement showed significant three-way interaction effects on Chinese consumers' preferences. Results of this study can help establish an efficient marketing strategy for Chinese local sportswear brands, which are fiercely competing with global sportswear brands in the Chinese market because they can examine Chinese consumers' attitudes toward sportswear brands. To accurately compare global and local sportswear brands, it must be assumed that there are no differences in brand preferences among consumers. However, as this study selected each brand as the research brand ranked as the top preference, this aspect was not taken into consideration. Therefore, in future research, it is necessary to consider differences in brand preferences and conduct the study accordingly.

현대 패션디자인에 나타난 스트레치의 미(美)연구 (Stretch Aesthetics In Contemporary Fashion Design)

  • 텍스타일의 발전에 있어서 진보적 기술혁신은 합성섬유의 잠재력을 높이는데 큰 촉매 역할을 해왔는데 그 중 가장 두드러지게 성공적인 분야는 바로 스트레치 직물 분야이다. 스트레치는 그자체의 다양한 종류와 변화무쌍한 특성과 함께 스포츠 웨어, 캐주얼웨어 뿐 아니라 최근에는 정장류 남성복에 이르기 까지 그 사용범위와 미적 표현이 크게 증가되고 다양해졌다. 스트레치의 미는 기능적이고 편안하면서도 직물자체의 유동적인 특성과 함께 인체와 더불어 표출되는시각적 이미지가 현대미에 새로운 개념을 더하고있다는 데에 그 가치가 있다. 본 연구목적은 현대 패션디자인에 표현되어진 스트레치의 미적 개념과 가치가 무엇인가를 발견하는데 있다. 특히 섬유과학기술의 진보로 인한 스트레치 직물의 다양함과 그에대한 디자이너들의 패션철학과 디자인의 다양한 변화를 강조하고 나아가 다음세기를 위한 보다 나은 디자인의 방향을 제시해 보고자한다. 연구결과는 다음과같다. 1, 스트레치의 가장 두드러지는 현대적 미는 편안함과 기능성에 있다. 특히 스트레치 직물 자체가 더욱 가벼워지고 강해지면서 현대생활과 미래생활에서 가장 크게 중시되고 있는 comfortable & functional 의 이상적인 개념을 충적시켜 주고 있다. 2. 스트레치 직물의 유동적특징에서 대표적으로 나타난 스타일은 바디스트인데 이것은 스트레치 자체의 신축성이 기본적으로 인체곡선 위에서 표현되어진 것으로서 거의 비슷한 스타일의 uniformity 현상을 낳게 되었고 또한 인체선의 드러남으로 인해 'healthy'이미지 추구라는 현대미의 새로운 개념을 가져왔다. 2. 더욱 정교해진 스트레치는 결국 transparent look을 낳았고 또한 비치는 직물들을 겹쳐입는 layering 현상을 가져왔는데 이것은 현대적 순수미와 여성미가 시감각적 이미지로 표현되어진 것이라 할수 있다. 4. 스트레치가 되므로서 생기는 긴장은 다른 디자인 요소들에 대해서는 극히 단순한 것을 요구하면서 결국 simplicity를 동반하게 되었다. 5. 스트레치는 디자인 구성 요소들의 보다 작은 개념을 낳았는데 즉 더욱 좁아진 형과 작아진 사이즈 없어지거나 줄어든 다트와 구성선 그리고 그에따라 줄어든 공정과 낮아진 가격이다. 이 개념은 현대미의 minimalism의 한 현상으로 해석되어지며 스트레치 직물은 여기에 가장 부합되는 소재가 되었다. 6. 스트레치의 시각적 이미지는 그자체가 'easy' 'free'느낌과 함께 보편적이면서 미래적이다. 이상으로 볼 때 미래의 패션은 보다 진보적인 섬유과학발전에 힘입어 21세기의 새로운 환경에 잘 적응 할 수 있는 합리적이면서도 미적 가치가 내포된 인간에게 보다 친숙한 디자인으로 전개되리라고 생각되어진다.

여성 피트니스웨어 색채 분석 -2017 SS시즌을 중심으로- (Analysis of Women's Fitness Wear Colors -Focused on 2017 S/S-)

  • This study aims to investigate the color characteristics of female fitnesswear by analyzing the status of color usage and color arrangement method of each item of female fitnesswear of sports brands. This study targeted eight global total sportswear brands. A total of 2956 colors of female sportswear were collected and analyzed from the homepage of each brand. As a result of analyzing the color of fitnesswear, first, the overall color of the fitnesswear showed high distribution centered on PB, Bk and R of low color tone, such as p and dkg. Moreover, bright tone colors were added for vitality and functional image of sports. Second, as a result of analyzing the color of each item, commonly, the PB, Bk and R had large proportions. Third, as a result of analyzing 2-color arrangements of fitnesswear, color arrangements including achromatic color had overwhelmingly higher frequency than color arrangements that had only chromatic colors. This shows that the color arrangement using achromatic color is important and has a higher preference. Fourth, as a result of extracting the representative color arrangement as color chip and comparing, the 2-color arrangement of female fitnesswear had the characteristics of the color arrangement of large area main color and small amounts of emphasized color centered on achromatic colors of Bk and W. This study is meaningful that it can be utilized as basic data for color planning of fitnesswear brands by subdividing female fitnesswear into 4 items and analyzing the color-tone and arrangement.

프로야구 라이센싱 패션제품 현황 분석 및 디자인 개발 (A Study on the Analysis and Design Development of Licensed Fashion Products of Professional Baseball)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop licensed fashion products based on the analysis of Korean professional baseball licensing. This study reviewed the introduction of sports marketing, licensing programs, and analyzed the current status of licensing brands and products in Korean baseball clubs. Based on this analysis, high value added licensed products were developed for Korean professional baseball clubs. The results of this study were as follows. First, all Korean baseball clubs operated offline shopping malls in their home stadiums and posted online shopping mall links on their websites. Moreover, licensed products were developed through agreements with sports and licensing companies, and sales were being done through official shopping malls, open markets, and shopping malls. Various marketing for specific events or targets were not done well. Second, licensed products were mostly fashion products such as clothing and hats. Most of them were unisex wear, but the proportion of fashion products for women was not large. Also, while the licensed products used elements that made the baseball team feel symbolic throughout, they sometimes sold products that did not reveal the identity of the professional baseball team, with an emphasis on motifs that were unrelated to the team. Third, this study selected KIA Tigers and developed 27 kinds of women's licensed fashion products including textile designs. Through this research, it was derived that there is the need for integrated marketing of Korean professional baseball, diversification of consumer-based licensing products, and enhanced entertainment products for the Korean baseball cheering culture.
