Analysis of Instantaneous Screw Axis in 5-SS Multi-link Suspensions Using Line Geometry (선 기하학을 이용한 5-SS 멀티 링크 현가장치의 순간 스크류 축 해석)

  • This paper presents the analysis method of the instantaneous screw axis using line geometry in bump and rebound motion of 5-SS multi-link suspensions. Instantaneous screw axis is based on screw motion, and screw motion of zero pitch can be expressed as $Pl{\ddot{u}}cker$ line coordinates of line geometry instead of screw coordinates. In screw coordinates, twist and wrench are described by components of instantaneous screw axis. For instantaneous motion of wheel assembly, the principle of virtual work with twist and wrench is applied to 5-SS multi-link suspension, and it makes 5 linear equations. Therefore, it is possible to find instantaneous screw axis by solving these equations. This analysis by line geometry demands geometric values only, such as the locations of spherical joints in the case of multi-link suspensions.

  • 공작기계의 기본은 POSITION ACCURACY이다. XYZ 3축 직선운동 복합으로 거의 모든 형태를 표현할 수 있다. 3축 각각의 직선운동만 정확하면 정밀한 절삭가공이 된다는 뜻이다. 직선운동의 정확도를 기하기 위하여 볼스크류 를 쓰고 기아도 그라인딩을 한다. POSITION ACCURACY는 NC-CONTROLLER를 사용하면서 극대로 증가한다. 이것이 공작기계의 원리이다. 항공기의 조립은 공작기계가 갖고 있는 X Y Z 3축의 복합만으로는 STROKE가 짧아 표현할 수 없는 상당히 긴 STROKE이면서 공간의 위치가 요구된다. 이를 찾는 방법은 지극히 정밀한 LENS를 동원한 OPTICAL TOOL을 쓰는 것이 가장 용이하다. 항곡부품의 위치도 OPTICAL TOOL을 사용하는 것이 가장 용이하다. 물론 건축용 OPTICAL TOOL보다 항공용은 몇배 더 정밀하다.

  • Twin screw extruders are the heart of the polymer processing industry. The single most important mechanical element of a screw extruder is the screw. The proper design of the geometry of the excluder screw is of crucial importance to the proper functioning of the extruder. If material transport instabilities occur as a result of improper screw geometry, even the most sophisticated computerized control system cannot solve the problem. Factors influencing primary stability of miniplate anchorage: a three-dimensional finite element analysis (미니플레이트의 골내 고정원 적용 시 초기 안정성에 영향을 주는 요인에 대한 3차원 유한요소법적 연구)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the stress distribution in bone and displacement distribution of the miniscrew according to the length and number of the miniscrews used for the fixation of miniplate, and the direction of orthodontic force. Methods: Four types of finite element models were designed to show various lengths (6 mm, 4 mm) and number (3, 2) of 2 mm diameter miniscrew used for the fixation of six holes for a curvilinear miniplate. A traction force of 4 N was applied at $0^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$ to an imaginary axis connecting the two most distal unfixed holes of the miniplate. Results: The smaller the number of the miniscrew and the shorter the length of the miniscrew, the more the maximum von Mises stress in the bone and maximum displacement of the miniscrew increased. Most von Mises stress in the bone was absorbed in the cortical portion rather than in the cancellous portion. The more the angle of the applied force to the imaginary axis increased, the more the maximum von Mises stress in the bone and maximum displacement of the miniscrew increased. The maximum von Mises stress in the bone and maximum displacement of the miniscrew were measured around the most distal screw-fixed area. Condusions: The results suggest that the miniplate system should be positioned in the rigid cortical bone with 3 miniscrews of 2 mm diameter and 6 mm length, and its imaginary axis placed as parallel as possible to the direction of orthodontic force to obtain good primary stability.

A Study on Physical Dechlorination of Mixed Plastics using Screw Reactor (스크류반응기를 이용한 흔합플라스틱의 물리적 탈염소에 관한 연구)

  • PVC is the thermoplastic offering excellent material properties. PVC has been used in wide variety of applications, however, it causes environmental problems when it is discarded because of its high chlorine content. Since dechlorination reaction of PVC is taking place at relatively low temperature compared to the pyrolysis temperature of plastics, study on the dechlorination reaction has been carried out as a pre-treatment process. Twin screw reactor which shows excellent mixing capabilities is employed. Experimental variables are the first and second reactor temperature, PVC content in mixed plastics, viscosity of mixed plastics, feeding rate, rotational speed or the second reactor. Over $90\%$ of dechlorination ratio can be obtained under proper operation conditions. Chlorine gas evolved from reactor is absorbed in water and can be recovered as a hydrochloric acid. Analysis had been done on chlorine flows by taking material balance over realtor.

  • This paper presents an approximate synthesis of 5-SS multi link suspension for 2 D.O.F motions. In the proposed synthesis method, alteration curves of camber, toe, kingpin and caster angles are optimized during the bump rebound and the steering motions. And joint positions can be located within desired boundari es. Especially, steering motions are considered for control of kingpin offset and caster trail. Prescribed motions contain both wheel center positions and imaginary kingpin axes in the multi link type suspension. Constraint equations are formulated with di splacement matrix and velocity matrix using instantaneous screw axis.

  • 본 논문에서 기존의 치아가공기는 회전하는 모터를 사용하여 구성하였으나 이러한 모터는 정밀도, 반복정밀도가 50um 이하로 가공물 가공시에 치기공사나 치과의사가 사람에 맞추어 다시 작업을 해야하는 불편함과 시간적, 작업자의 피로도를 높일수 있는데 이러한 모터에 스크류나 밸트를 연결하여 선형적으로 움직일 수 있는 리니어모듈과 리니어모터를 적용하게되면 20um수준의 고정밀의 위치제어가 가능한 5축 치아가공기를 만들 수 있었다. 또한 MEMS센서를 이용하여 스핀들의 상태를 모니터링 하고 임계값을 지정하여 이상 신호 발생시 모터를 멈추어 위험상황에 대해서 인공지능기법을 이용하여 정지하거나 관리자에게 알림을 주어 효과적으로 5축치아가공기를 운영할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • Twin-screw kneader is an efficient polymer processing equipment. In this paper, the mixing performance of one novel intermeshing counter-rotating twin-screw kneader with different tip angles of the male rotor is simulated using the mesh superimposition technique (MST). Statistical analysis is carried out for the flow field using particle tracking technique, and distributive mixing performance is evaluated using the residence time distribution and segregation scale, while the dispersive mixing performance is estimated using the parameters such as shear rate, stretching rate and mixing index. The results show that the best distributive mixing performance is achieved when the tip angle is 0o, while the optimal dispersive mixing performance is obtained when the tip angle is 20o. The results in this paper provide a data basis for the selection of parameters and optimization of the performance for the screw rotors.

  • 본 연구에서는 유류 오염토양 복원을 위한 효율적인 세척공정을 구성하여 현장적용 가능성을 검토하였다. 토양세척공정은 co-current식 전세척장치와 counter -current식 세척조로 구성된다. 물이 주입되는 co-current식 전세척장치에서는 스크류 축의 회전력에 의한 토양 이송 및 스크류의 각 pitch 사이에 부착된 임펠러의 기계적 교반력에 의한 세척이 동시에 이루어진다. 전세척장치를 통과한 토양과 물은 세척조로 유입되어 세척용액과 반대방향으로 이동하게 된다. 세척조의 내벽에 부착된 나선형 웨어에 의해 적정 운전조건하에서 일정 크기를 기준으로 토양이 분리되며, 각 웨어 사이에 부착된 임펠러의 교반력에 의해 오염토양이 세척된다. 실험결과, 운전시 고려해야 할 주요 영향인자들은 전세척장치에서의 토양주입량은 1 kg/min, 진탕비는 1, 회전속도는 50 rpm에서 최대 세척효율(#4-, 83.6%)을 보였으며, 세척조에서는 토양.물 주입위치 15 cm, 회전속도 5 rpm, 경사각 6$^{\circ}$, 세척용액 주입유량이 0.8 L/min일 때 최대 세척효율인 97.9%(#4-)를 나타냈다.
