  • 최근 클라우드 컴퓨팅 인프라 및 소프트웨어의 지속적인 발전으로 인한 복잡성 증가로 인해 신속한 확장성과 유연성에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 이에 클라우드 네이티브 환경과의 호환성뿐만 아니라 개발과 운영의 효율성을 높이고자 코드로 인프라를 정의하여 자동화된 환경을 구축해 주는 코드형 인프라(Infrastructure as Code, IaC) 기술이 주목받고 있으며, AWS CloudFormation 은 대표적인 솔루션 중 하나이다. 그러나 IaC 형태로 배포되는 템플릿에 취약성이 존재할 경우, 인스턴스가 실행되기 전까지 보안 취약점을 미리 발견하기 어려워 DevOps 사이클에서의 보안 이슈를 야기할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문은 CloudFormation 템플릿의 보안 취약성 스캔이 가능하다고 알려진 오픈 소스 도구의 효율성을 평가하기 위한 사례 연구를 수행한다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로, DevSecOps 달성을 위한 IaC 기반 환경에서 취약성 사전 탐지의 필요성과 세분화된 접근 방식을 제시하고자 한다.

Development of Scanner Test and Vectorizing Programs for Digitization of Cadastral Maps (지적도면 전산화를 위한 스캐너 검사 및 벡터화 프로그램 개발)

  • Much efforts are being process at many ways for digitization cadastral maps that will be the base map of Parceled Based Land Information Systems. But, current digitizing systems need too much time and cost digitizing about 720,000 cadastral maps. That's way we develop new digitization system for cadastral maps by using scanning and vectorizing methods. In this paper, we treat scanner test and vectorizing program that are the most important parts of new digitization system for cadastral maps. we analyze needs of Korean Cadastral Survey Corporation, and discuss algorithms and functions of developed programs. Using newly developed scanner test program, user could test various scanners, and use inexpensive scanner if it satisfy the accuracy needed. And vectorizing program will reduce much time and cost, because it is designed and customized practically to he adequate to cadastral maps and to improve work speed, accuracy and usage.

Decision of Optimum Turn Step Resolution for Extraction of the Spurious Radiation in Gigahertz Band (기가헤르쯔 대역 불요파 방사의 최대값 추출을 위한 최적 회전 스텝 분해능 결정)

  • In this paper, suitablility of 1 GHz CISPR limits establishment fur broadcast communication quality protection is examined and the optimum turn step resolution of EUT for spurious measurement of frequency above 1 GHz to increase the accuracy of maximum values extraction is examined. As a result of 500 MHz and 1.7 GHz clock speed personal computer of micro-processor measurement, optimum turn step resolution extracted by National Institution of National Instrument of Standard & Technology(NIST) Koepke method is estimated 40 table positions per polarization in 500 MHz. And in case of 1.7 GHz, step size is 36 table positions. Prediction of turn step size required for fully scan method in gjgahertz measurement will increase measurement accuracy and reduce considerable measurement time as well.

  • Nondestructive evaluation(NDE) of ceramic matrix composites is essential for developing reliable ceramics for industrial applications. In the work, C-Scan image analysis has been used to characterize surface crack of SiC ceramics nondestructively. The possibility of detection of surface crack were carried out experimentally by two types of ultrasonic equipment of SDS-win and $\mu$-SDS, and three types of transducer of 25, 50 and 125 MHz. A surface micro-crack of ceramics was not detected by transducer of 25 MHz and 50 MHz. Though the focus method was detected dimly the crack by transducer of 125 MHz, the defocus method could detect the shape of diamond indenter. As a whole, the focus method and the defocus method came to the conclusion that micro crack have a good possibility for detection.

  • In this paper, we consider a cyclostationary-feature-detection based spectrum sensing algorithm for ATSC signal detection. One of the proposed algorithms for IEEE 802.22 standardization organization which meet the requirements of IEEE 802.22 is Thomson's algorithm based on cyclostationary feature detection. We propose an interpolation-based spectrum sensing algorithm for ATSC signal detection, which has less computation complexity than that of Thomson's algorithm and provides no performance loss compared to Thomson's algorithm. By using zero-padding in time domain and effective sensing scanning method, the proposed algorithm requires less computational complexity and shows no performance degradation compared to Thomson's algorithm.

  • We proposed a new pixel circuit and driving method for the large-area, high-luminance AMOLED applications in this study. We designed with the low-temperature poly-silicon(LTPS) thin film transistors(TFTs) that has poor uniformity but stable characteristic. To improve the uniformity of an image, the threshold voltage($V_{TH}$) and the mobility of the TFTs can be compensated together. The proposed method overcomes the previous methods for mobility compensation, and that is profitable for large-area applications. Black data insertion was introduced to improve the characteristics for moving images. AMOLED panel can operate in two compensation mode, so the luminance degradation by mobility compensation can be released. The scan driver for controlling the pixel circuits were optimized, and the compensation mode can be controlled simply by that. Final driving signal has large timing margin, and the panel operates stably. The pixel circuit was designed for 14.1" WXGA top-emission ANGLED panel. The non-uniformity of the designed panel was estimated under 5% for the mobility compensation time of 1us.

  • We present a novel method for simple and efficient analysis of the rectangular MQW waveguide. Preferentially two-dimensional structure is transformed into one-dimensional structure by using the effective index method. Then, the characteristic matrix of the resultant planar MQW waveguide is analyzed by scanning angle method. The effective index, modal intensity, and optical confinement factor of rectangular MQW waveguide can be effectively obtained by this method. Our simulation results show excellent agreement with the accurate solutions based on the finite element method. We also introduce the approximation methods for the analysis of rectangular MQW waveguide and investigate their validity. By using perturbation approach, modal power loss of guided wave in rectangular MQW waveguide is newly investigated and compared with the conventional method using the approximation of planar MQW waveguide.

QR Code Based Mobile Dual Transmission OTP System (QR 코드를 이용한 모바일 이중 전송 OTP 시스템)

  • In order to improve the security strength in the password based user authentication, in which the security vulnerability is increased while the same password is repeatedly used, the OTP(One-Time Password) system has been introduced. In the OTP systems, however, the user account information and OTP value may be hacked if the user PC is infected by the malicious codes, because the user types the OTP value, which is generated by the mobile device synchronized with the server, directly onto the user PC. In this paper, we propose a new method, called DTOTP(Dual Transmission OTP), to solve this security problem. The DTOTP system is an improved two-factor authentication method by using the dual transmission, in which the user performs the server authentication by typing the user account and password information onto the PC, and then for the OTP authentication the mobile device scans the QR code displayed on the PC and the OTP value is sent to the server directly. The proposed system provides more improved security strength than that of the existing OTP system, and also can adopt the existing OTP algorithm without any modification. As a result, the proposed system can be safely applied to various security services such like banking, portal, and game services.

An Efficient Architecture of Transform & Quantization Module in MPEG-4 Video Code (MPEG-4 영상코덱에서 DCTQ module의 효율적인 구조)

  • In this paper, an efficient VLSI architecture for DCTQ module, which consists of 2D-DCT, quantization, AC/DC prediction block, scan conversion, inverse quantization and 2D-IDCT, is presented. The architecture of the module is designed to handle a macroblock data within 1064 cycles and suitable for MPEG-4 video codec handling 30 frame CIF image for both encoder and decoder simultaneously. Only single 1-D DCT/IDCT cores are used for the design instead of 2-D DCT/IDCT, respectively. 1-bit serial distributed arithmetic architecture is adopted for 1-D DCT/IDCT to reduce the hardware area in this architecture. To reduce the power consumption of DCTQ modu1e, we propose the method not to operate the DCTQ modu1e exploiting the SAE(sum of absolute error) value from motion estimation and cbp(coded block pattern). To reduce the AC/DC prediction memory size, the memory architecture and memory access method for AC/DC prediction block is proposed. As the result, the maximum utilization of hardware can be achieved, and power consumption can be minimized. The proposed design is operated on 27MHz clock. The experimental results show that the accuracy of DCT and IDCT meet the IEEE specification.

  • As the number of elderly population increases, the proportion of edentulous patients is increasing, and the demand for traditional dentures will also increase. Arranging the artificial teeth according to the relationship and shape of the upper and lower alveolar ridge is an important factor increasing the stability of the denture. This case is a 79 year old female patient who wishes to make denture covered by national health insurance for psychological and economical reasons. With the alveolar bone severely atrophic, the dental CAD software was used for accurate diagnosis and the posterior teeth were arranged in a cross bite according to the interalveolar crest line angle by the program. After completion, the denture showed adequate stability and maintenance in periodic examinations and treatment, and the patient also expressed high satisfaction.
