This study aimed to analyze the overall operation status of the Bank of Korea library representing the economic library in Korea, investigate user satisfaction and demand, and to propose a direction for the development of the economic library in the future. To this end, a case study was conducted on changes in the external environment of major libraries at home and abroad, and a user survey was conducted. As a result, the future tasks include introducing smart systems, robotics some library services, non-face-to-face service response spaces that reflect the times, introducing big data analysis services, strengthening user-tailored systems, and activating SNS communication. It proposed developing specialized libraries, online reference and research support services, and providing original DBs for publications to strengthen expertise, maintaining and expanding cloud services, maintaining and expanding cooperative projects, and collecting national knowledge and information.

Recently, the development of the information-communications industry has created a new paradigm of the ubiquitous and the smart environments. An USN is a typical technology for constructing a ubiquitous environments. But the USN technologies applied in practice have a lot of problems and to solve these problems that this study was to build a test bed. For the creation of the needs of USN technology, we suggest a method and service of monitoring of road hazards combining the USN and the Geographic Information System(GIS). We conduct making the USN equipment relevant provisions surveys, making installation guidelines, construction system and real-time testing. This study is capable of the management of public facilities, real-time monitoring of accident and the environment data and is expected to be expanded to a 3D facility management combineded with BIM in the future.

최근 녹색 성장을 위한 에너지 효율 증대, 스마트워크 실현, 기업 보안 강화 등의 요구들과 맞물려, 기업, 공공, 의료, 교육 등 많은 분야에서 인터넷상에 가상화된 개인 PC 환경을 구축하여 다양한 단말을 통해 언제 어디서나 업무 환경을 실현하는 가상 데스크톱 인프라(Virtual Desktop Infrastructure: VDI) 시스템의 도입이 증가하고 있고, 관련 시장 또한 확대되고 있다. 가상 데스크톱 서비스 구축은 많은 장점을 갖는 동시에 높은 투자 비용, 성능 등 해결해야 할 다양한 이슈들도 존재한다. 본고에서는 VDI 시스템에 대해 기술하고, 핵심 기술들의 연구 현황에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

최근 GPS(Global Positioning System)가 탑재된 스마트 단말이 빠르게 보급되면서 위치정보 기반의 다양한 서비스가 보급되고 있다. 위치정보는 다양한 맥락으로 해석 및 적용될 수 있으며, 교통, 군사, 공공안전 등 여러 분야에 걸쳐 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 이에 따라 위치정보의 정확도 향상을 위한 다양한 연구가 활발히 진행 중인데, 실외 환경의 경우 GPS를 이용한 고정밀 측위 기술이 주류를 이루고 있는 반면에, 실외 환경보다 상대적으로 제약이 많은 실내 환경에서는 주로 네트워크 기반의 측위 기술에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 본고에서는 기존의 측위 기술들의 장단점을 분석하고, 각 측위 기술의 단점을 보완한 복합 측위 기술 동향을 알아보고 향후 복합 측위 기술의 발전 방향에 대해 논의한다.

정보통신 기술은 아날로그 산업에서 디지털 산업을 거쳐 현재는 스마트 산업으로 이어지는 수단으로 활용되어 왔다. 특히 산업 사회생활에서 문서로 직접 주고받던 환경에서 메일, 전자문서 교환 등으로 바뀌면서 편리성과 비용절감을 통해 산업 사회생활 발전에 기여하고 있다. 최근 빅데이터 기술은 대용량 정보를 분석하여 기상예측, 신약개발, 유전자 분석 등의 다양한 분야에 활용되고 있다. 그러나 대용량 정보 안에는 개인 식별을 할 수 있는 정보가 포함되어 있어, 빅데이터 기술을 바로 적용하기에는 개인정보보호법이 정하는 개인정보보호 이용에 관한 법률에 대한 준비가 미흡한 실정이다. 예를 들어 공공기관의 데이터를 활용하여 날씨 예측, 재난 방재 서비스 등을 통해 국민의 삶을 제고함과 동시에 경제적으로 많은 이익을 가져올 수 있다. 그러나 개인정보를 타인이 악의적으로 이용할 수 있어 개인에게 경제적, 정신적 피해를 줄 수 있다. 또한 개인정보의 노출은 과거와 달리 삭제되거나 잊혀지지 않고 영구적으로 재사용이 가능하기 때문에 이를 사전에 막을 수 있는 방법이 필요하다. 이에 본고는 빅데이터 등장에 따른 시장구조 변화 및 경제적 파급효과를 분석하고, 법리적 분석을 바탕으로 빅데이터 기술이 올바르게 시장에 정착할 수 있은 법(규제)방안을 제시하고자 한다.

새로운 금융 서비스의 등장은 사용자의 부주의에 따라 악의적인 공격자에게 소중한 개인정보가 노출 될 수 있는 위험성을 가지고 있다. 현재의 금융어플리케이션의 보안은 눈에 보이지 않는 여러 암호 기술을 통해 통신상의 안전한 보안 매커니즘을 구축하였으나 사회공학적인 공격기법에 취약한 면을 가지고 있다. 특히 현재 금융어플리케이션의 키패드는 오타방지를 위해서 입력하는 끝 글자를 보여주고 있으나 이 점은 공공장소에서 사용 시 외부자의 훔쳐보기로 인해 노출 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 기법은 기존의 가상 키패드 입력 방법에서 마지막 글자를 보여주는 대신 각 키가 색을 가지고 끝 글자는 키의 색 정보로 대치하였다. 이로써 공격자가 입력란만을 보면 끝 글자를 통해 전체적인 비밀번호를 유출할 수 있는 수단이 사라져 기존의 훔쳐보는 공격으로부터 안전하다. 해당 기법을 실제 안드로이드로 구현 했을 시 기존의 기법에 비해 68% 향상된 보안성을 제공하면서도 기존의 기법과 유사한 정확도와 신속성을 지닌다. 이는 기존의 스마트폰 상에서의 보안 키패드를 안전하게 대체할 수 있는 기술로서 그 효용성이 높다고 할 수 있다.

Recently, the expansion of smart phones, wi-fi. and unlimited service changed our life style from personal computer based to mobile device based. With this trend, a lot of companies and government facilities use QR code as an advertising material, and now the QR code is very popular service in our ordinary life. In the meantime, libraries in abroad and university libraries started using QR code in library service about 2 or 3 years ago, and domestic libraries started using it in service due to the increase of establishment of mobile Library websites. In this research, starting with looking into the literature, I analyzed the examples of the use of QR code in libraries. On the base of it, I drew a QR code library service model, and what needs to be considered for the use of it.

Multicultural family members have difficulty in educating their children due to language differences. In order to solve these difficulties, it is necessary to provide smart translation services that enable them easily and quickly access real-life vocabularies. However, the current automatic translation technology is being developed in dominant languages such as English, Chinese, and Japanese. There are also limitations to translating special-purpose terms such as documents of schools and instructions of public institutions. In this study, we propose a real-time automatic word translation service for multicultural family members who understand beginner level Korean. The service automatically analyzes the semantics of each word in the Korean sentences and provides a word-by-word translation. This study includes semantic analysis research for Korean language, building multilingual translation knowledge, and fusion study of language education. We evaluated the word translation service for migrant women from Vietnam and Japan and obtained meaningful evaluation results.

With the popularization of smart-phone, a variety of application service user is a rising trend now. In contrast, studies concerning library application service that cast a long shadow over the life of students and citizens still lacking in many ways. This study evaluates user experience of Young-in Si public library application service, and investigates user requirements. I searched the real user reviews about Young-in Si library application both App store and Android market. As the final outcome, I found inconveniences and improvements of this service. The application is intuitive, but requires consistent design, strong identity and customizing main page. It will be suggested specific guidelines for the public library mobile services in other areas.

Modern society is becoming more informed and intelligent with the development of digital technology, in which humans, objects, and networks relate with each other. In accordance with the changing times, a garden system has emerged that makes it easy to supply the ideal temperature, humidity, sunlight, and moisture conditions to grow plants. Therefore, this study attempted to grasp the concept, perception, and trends of smart gardens, a recent concept. To achieve the purpose of this study, previous studies and text mining were used, and the results are as follows. First, the core characteristics of smart gardens are new gardens in which IoT technology and gardening techniques are fused in indoor and outdoor spaces due to technological developments and changes in people's lifestyles. As technology advances and the importance of the environment increases, smart gardens are becoming a reality due to the need for living spaces where humans and nature can co-exist. With the advent of smart gardens, it will be possible to contribute to gardens' vitalization to deal with changes in garden-related industries and people's lifestyles. Second, in current research related to smart gardens and users' experiences, the technical aspects of smart gardens are the most interesting. People value smart garden functions and technical aspects that enable a safe, comfortable, and convenient life, and subjective uses are emerging depending on individual tastes and the comfort with digital devices. Third, looking at the usage behavior of smart gardens, they are mainly used in indoor spaces, with edible plants are being grown. Due to the growing importance of the environment and concerns about climate change and a possible food crisis, the tendency is to prefer the cultivation of plants related to food, but the expansion of garden functions can satisfying users' needs with various technologies that allow for the growing of flowers. In addition, as users feel the shapes of smart gardens are new and sophisticated, it can be seen that design is an essential factor that helps to satisfy users. Currently, smart gardens are developing in terms of technology. However, the main components of the smart garden are the combination of humans, nature, and technology rather than focusing on growing plants conveniently by simply connecting potted plants and smart devices. It strengthens connectivity with various city services and smart homes. Smart gardens interact with the landscape of the architect's ideas rather than reproducing nature through science and technology. Therefore, it is necessary to have a design that considers the functions of the garden and the needs of users. In addition, by providing citizens indoor and urban parks and public facilities, it is possible to share the functions of communication and gardening among generations targeting those who do not enjoy 'smart' services due to age and bridge the digital device and information gap. Smart gardens have potential as a new landscaping space.
