Recently, smartphone are increasing in Internet-enabled applications to install and delete benefits as well as internet through various interfaces such as 3G network, Wi-Fi, Wibro without the constraints of time and place. However, the prevalence of smartphones and the activity was generated from an existing PC smartphone security threats are causing a ripple in a society. In this paper, we serve live content services on the first and last content by creating an electronic signature is the signature of either the loss of any Content provided by both authentication and non-repudiation content protection scheme is proposed. The proposed method of secure smartphone users to download and install the content or an application for downloading content over the content for secure authentication.
By using smartphones more generally, people's lives become more convenient. However, many people complain of stress caused by the use of smartphones, further, the tendencies to reject it are appearing. In this paper, new conceptual word, antismart-resistance consciousness gained by experience before and after introduction of smart devices - is newly proposed as a research variable. In addition, we have studied to identify the relationship affecting continuous use of smartphones with technostress and antismart. To achieve this, a research model and hypotheses were presented and verified by using questionnaires data. The result showed that users who actively embrace innovative technologies were highly tolerant of technostress, whereas knowledge or experience of IT trends did not affect technostress or antismart tendencies.
Since the advent of Apple's iPhone, the smartphone industry has been producing new technologies and concepts at an accelerated pace. The speed of progress in this sector is exponentially increasing in accordance with Moore's Law, and smartphones are rapidly changing various aspects of human life. Especially, object control technologies using smartphones are being utilized in various sectors, including robots, home automation, and smart objects. However, the current smartphone object control technology is limited in terms of multicontrol. This study proposes the combined usage of the Bluetooth and Zigbee Modules for multiple object control using smartphones, and presents the necessary application design properties and the methodology for Zigbee communication. The study is an attempt at a territorial expansion of design, as a proposal of new methods for utilizing smartphones in the age of smart objects.
The purpose of this study was to identify the influencing factors on smartphone overdependence by examining the relationships between smartphone overdependence, self-determination, depression, self-esteem, and impulsivity in male and female college students. The self-reported questionnaires were administered to 263 students from two colleges. As results of multiple regression analysis, the factors affecting smartphone overdependence in male students were the perception of smartphone importance (${\beta}=.411$, p<.001), impulsivity (${\beta}=.204$, p=.007), and depression (${\beta}=.200$, p=.040). In female students, influencing factors were the perception of smartphone importance (${\beta}=.630$, p<.001) and impulsivity (${\beta}=.185$, p=.010). Based on the findings, a tailored smartphone overdependence prevention program is needed by controlling impulsivity and changing distorted perceptions of smartphone.
This study analyzed information privacy concerns and personal innovation influences effects of perceived usefulness, ease-of-use and satisfaction for a smartphone-based shopping mall, using technology acceptance model. For empirical analysis, the structural equation modeling analysis method was used. The results are as follows. First, information privacy concern is the usefulness of smartphone-based shopping mall has significantly negative, but did not affect the ease of use. Second, personal innovation is the usefulness and ease of use smartphone-based shopping mall have significant positive effect. Third, ease of use smartphone-based shopping mall is usefulness and satisfaction have significant positive influence. Finally, the usefulness of use of the shopping mall based smartphone significant satisfaction in positively influencing.
The spread of smartphone in Korea causes several side effects and raises concerns. Especially, recently the addiction to smartphone of elementary school children has been paid attention to by their parents, teachers, and so on. After literature review, this research presented hypotheses that depression would affect children's addiction to smartphone positively and school life satisfaction (SLS) negatively, in turn their addiction to smartphone would affect SLS negatively. We employed Partial Least Square (PLS) path modeling to test the hypotheses. We found that all hypotheses were supported. The findings of this study suggest that their families and school authorities should make valid measures to lessen children's depression for preventing addicting to smartphone and, in turn, increasing SLS.
As the use of smartphones becomes widespread, the negative aspects of smartphone are under controversy. The cutting-edge technologies, such as smartphone, lead to technostress, and the digital addiction causes a social problem, where users cannot properly work without smartphone in their hands, causing anxiety or embarrassment to them. The digital detox intended to solve such digital addiction and the technostress caused by cutting-edge technologies are currently under controversy. This paper investigated the negative factors from smartphone as internal factors affecting the use of smartphone and found their relationship. In this study, a theoretical study model was presented on the satisfaction of smartphone users, in which technostress was selected as an independent variable affecting the satisfaction of smartphone users and user satisfaction as an dependent variable, and digital detox, perceived usefulness and flow were set as parameters. This paper, investigated the effects of technostress and digital detox on the satisfaction of smartphone users with questionnaires data.
The high rates of smartphone usage among younger people and the negative impacts are well-known, but there remains a paucity of qualitative research on the topic. This study was designed to explore the experiences of university students addicted to smartphones. The author conducted in-depth individual interviews with 17 university students who scored in the upper 5th percentile on a smartphone addiction scale. All interviews were audiotaped, transcribed, and analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Students with a smartphone addiction were trapped in a vicious cycle. More specifically, they were "Realizing something was wrong with withdrawal symptoms," "Having negative consequences," "Seeking escape," and "Staying addicted." This study helped participating students realize their addiction and disclose their emotional and interpersonal difficulties related to their smartphone use. These understandings may be used to refine and further develop school-based programs to better help those addicted to smartphones to recover.
