Due to the development of information systems and the Internet, the Internet and smart phones can access networking in any where and any time. This causes the program to exploit various vulnerabilities and malicious code created to go out information, the disclosure of such crime increasing day by day. The proposed countermeasure model will be able to contribute to block all kinds of malicious code activities.

Approximately 70% of smartphone users around the world use Android operating system-based smartphones, and malicious apps targeting these Android platforms are constantly increasing. Google has provided "Google Play Protect" to respond to the increasing number of Android targeted malware, preventing malicious apps from being installed on smartphones, but many malicious apps are still normal. It threatens the smartphones of ordinary users registered in the Google Play store by disguising themselves as apps. However, most people rely on antivirus programs to detect malicious apps because the average user needs a great deal of expertise to check for malicious apps. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to classify unnecessary malicious permissions of apps by using only the categories and permissions that can be easily confirmed by the app, and to easily detect malicious apps through the classified permissions. The proposed method is compared and analyzed from the viewpoint of undiscovered rate and false positives with the "commercial malicious application detection program", and the performance level is presented.

Malicious network attacks such as DDoS is no clear preparedness, the damage is also a bar. In particular, when a smartphone is infected to the zombies, the damage such as communication fee billing and leakage of personal information with numerous network failures are expected. In this study, with reference of the features that appear in a zombie PC we extract the zombie smartphone's phenomena and features that appear while the zombie service is running.

As the penetration rate of smartphones increases, the number of malicious codes targeting smartphones is increasing. I 360 Security 's smartphone malware statistics show that malicious code increased 437 percent in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the fourth quarter of 2015. In particular, malicious applications, which are the main means of distributing malicious code on smartphones, are aimed at leakage of user information, data destruction, and money withdrawal. Often, it is operated by an API, which is an interface that allows you to control the functions provided by the operating system or programming language. In this paper, we propose a mechanism to detect malicious application based on the similarity of API pattern in normal application and malicious application by learning pattern of API in application derived from static analysis. In addition, we show a technique for improving the detection rate and detection rate for each label derived by using the corresponding mechanism for the sample data. In particular, in the case of the proposed mechanism, it is possible to detect when the API pattern of the new malicious application is similar to the previously learned patterns at a certain level. Future researches of various features of the application and applying them to this mechanism are expected to be able to detect new malicious applications of anti-malware system.

In recently years, repackaged malwares are becoming increased rapidly in Android smartphones. The repackaging is a technique to disassemble an app in a market, modify its source code, and then re-assemble the code, so that it is commonly used to make malwares by inserting malicious code in an app. However, it is impossible to collect all the apps in many android markets including too many apps. To solve the problem, we propose RePAD (RePackaged App Detector) scheme that is composed of a client and a remote server. In the smartphone-side, the client extracts the information of an app with low CPU overhead when a user installs the app. The remote server analyzes the information to decide whether the app is repackaged or not. Thus, the scheme reduces the time and cost to decide whether apps are repackaged. For the experiments, the client and server are implemented as an app on Galaxy TAB and PC respectively. We indicated that seven pairs of apps among ones collected in official and unofficial market are repackaged. Furthermore, RePAD only increases the average of CPU overhead of 1.9% and the maximum memory usage of 3.5 MB in Galaxy TAB.
Smartphones have all the recent technology integration and NFC (Near Field Communication) Technology is one of them and become an essential these days. Despite using smartphones with NFC technology widely, not many security vulnerabilities have been discovered. This paper attempts to identify characteristics and various services in NFC technology, and to present a wide range of security vulnerabilities, prevention, and policies especially in NFC Contactless technology. We describe a security vulnerability and an possible threat based on human vulnerability and traditional malware distribution technic using Peer-to-Peer network on NFC-Enabled smartphones. The vulnerability is as follows: An attacker creates a NFC tag for distributing his or her malicious code to unspecified individuals and apply to hidden spot near by NFC reader in public transport like subway system. The tag will direct smartphone users to a certain website and automatically downloads malicious codes into their smartphones. The infected devices actually help to spread malicious code using P2P mode and finally as traditional DDoS attack, a certain target will be attacked by them at scheduled time.
