  • Recently, research have smart gateways can provide additional services through the IoT and Big Data. However, the existing System is number of devices connected increases to the Server, the stability of the network is degraded and data security is poor. In this paper, we design a smart gateway VPN tunneling control system based on IoT to solve these problems. we propose an effective VPN tunneling technology for low-end targets such as routers, and a method for efficiently controlling traffic in real-time in an environment where the quality of the Internet line changes dramatically. It is possible to control the sensor in the home safely through the VPN at the remote place.

  • Recently, the importance of smart gateways that link these with the big data and the development of the Internet of things is getting bigger. The smart gateway includes a network function such as a router and a router, and a sensor network function that links various objects such as a sensor. As the internet market has expanded, network stability and security problems have arisen and VPN technology has been proposed as one of the ways to solve these security problems. Efficient design is needed to implement VPN in low-end smart gateway and SOHO-level Internet environment with poor line quality. In this paper, we propose the concept and principle of VPN tunneling implementation and real - time traffic shaping method according to internet line condition in the Smart Gateway that supports IOT developed based on OpenWRT, the implementation and measured performance indicators are presented.

  • In this paper, an android platform with Unity engine was proposed for the effective 3D presentation of IoT sensor's position to IoT(Internet of Things) users. This android platform based home-gateway was designed with the cooperation of 3D unity engine for 3D texture according to MovieTexture simultaneously. As a result, the 3D presentation technology of IoT sensors was described with Unity based 3D modeling. In this proposed smart gateway, the 3D position was presented with the received RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) and angle of IoT sensors. This 3D Unity launcher can be used for the 3D position, monitoring, and the life managing of IoT sensors with the beacon and 3 dimensional cube-style after the 3D conversion of 2D.

  • Recently, to enhance the quality and efficiency of health care services, smart health care services utilizing a smart phone and tablet pc are mainly being introduced into the large hospital and the interest for personal health record service which manages personal medical information utilizing PC and smart phone and technology development is actively underway. In order to build a next generation hospital information systems, the interoperability of data between the different hospital information systems and UX consistency between the various user devices must be assured. Therefore, in this paper, medical information standard and the study for improving the performance is conducted to design the gateway system which converting and integrating the medical information under multi-platform environment. In this paper, CCR standard is adapted to the mapping method between the data which is the key feature of the gateway system and design the system utilizing multi-table-based mapping method. To evaluate the performance of the system, experiment was done and the result has been improved approximately 20 percent for response rate.

  • Recently, the types and amount of data generated, collected, and measured in IoT such as smart home, security, and factory are increasing. The technologies for IoT service include sensor devices to measure desired data, embedded software to control the devices such as signal processing, wireless network protocol to transmit and receive the measured data, and big data and AI-based analysis. In this paper, we focused on developing a gateway for interfacing heterogeneous sensor network protocols that are used in various IoT devices and propose a heterogeneous network interface IoT gateway. We utilized a OpenWrt-based wireless routers and used 6LoWAN stack for IP-based communication via BLE and IEEE 802.15.4 adapters. We developed a software to convert Z-Wave and LoRa packets into IP packet using our Python-based middleware. We expect the IoT gateway to be used as an effective device for collecting IoT big data.

  • The smart factory, a combination of ICT technology to the entire production process of a product, means can you intelligent factory is to achieve such reduction and process improvement of the production cost. To implement the smart factory, inevitably must have an internal equipment connections to the external network, this is by equipment which is operated by the existing closure network is exposed to the outside network, the security vulnerability so that gender is increased. In order to solve this problem, it is possible to apply security solutions that are used in normal environments. However, it is impossible to have just completely blocking security threats that can occur in a smart factory network. Further, considering the economic damage that can occur during security breach accident, which cannot be not a serious problem. Therefore, in this paper, a look to know the security measures that can be applied to smart factory, to introduce the main fusion security technology necessary to smart factory dedicated security gateway.

  • 최근 스마트 TV가 방송과 통신을 결합하고 융합하여 보다 다양한 콘텐츠를 제공하면서 헬스케어, 스마트 홈으로 서비스 영역을 확장시킬 수 있는 보다 능동적인 매체로 부각되면서 스마트 헬스케어 분야에 적극적으로 활용될 것으로 기대되고 있다. 그러나 현재 헬스케어 서비스는 대부분의 개인건강기기에서 사용자의 신체를 측정하고 확인하기 위해서는 건강기기 제조사별로 존재하는 고유의 인터페이스를 통해서만 확인이 가능하며 스마트 TV 환경에서 헬스케어 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 스마트 TV의 특징을 고려한 통합 게이트웨이 및 건강관리 애플리케이션이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 스마트 TV 환경에 따른 헬스케어 서비스를 제공하기 위해 Bluetooth HDP를 활용한 통합 게이트웨이를 설계하고 이를 기반으로 홈 헬스케어 시스템을 구현하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 IT 기술의 집약체인 스마트폰을 중심으로 국제표준인 ISO/IEEE11073, HL7을 준용하여 다양한 PHD(Personal Health Device)들과의 연결성을 지원하는 모바일 게이트웨이 플랫폼을 구축을 통하여 홈&모바일 헬스케어 분야에서 새로운 모델을 제시하고자한다. 아울러 핵심 기술 요소인 ISO/IEEE11073, HL7 적용을 통해 홈 헬스케어용 센서 기기에 대한 각종 기술을 축적 하고 최근에 활용이 보편화되고 있는 스마트폰을 활용한 헬스케어 플랫폼 적용으로 우수성을 확보하고자 한다.

Study on School Zone Safety System using IT Technology (IoT 기술을 활용한 스쿨존 안전시스템 연구)

  • This study is a study of the school zone safety system of the platform part in which processing between device and the application, gateway function processing, and application and service function are cooperatively processed. The device part is the beacons that are supported when the student moves in the school zone. And the section of application is a service announcement that applies to smartphones. Finally, the children's protection area sign shows the number of students registered at the gateway. Gateways operate in two types. The first type is a gateway installed to identify the movement of elementary school students. The second type is a gateway to identify students who have passed through the front door of the school. The IoT platform handles various service functions, child protection area panel support and student counter processing functions.

  • This study is the Smart Office features that take advantage of KEPCO eIoT(: energy Internet of Thing) platform, and it's Network configuration is composed of sensing device, gateway, platform, and the service server. The key features are parts for processing protocol data between the gateway and the device using LoRa(: Long Range) technology, Intelligent applications and public safety data connected to the PS-LTE(: Public Safety-Long-Term Evolution) system. And the resource tree provided Smart Office for the service, which commonly used in the application server and the device.
