Analysis Methodologies for Planning A Long-term Sustainable High-speed Rail Network using Multi-attribute Utility Theory (지속가능한 고속철도망 계획을 위한 분석방법론 연구: 다원-속성 효용이론을 이용하여)

  • With the growing international consensus regarding sustainable development of transportation, the plan of transportation infrastructure needs to meet various requirements toward enhancing environmental conditions. Accordingly, the upcoming long-term plan of high-speed rail network has to be reflecting the sustainability of transportation systems. In this paper, we propose methodologies based on multi-attribute utility theory for determining priorities of sustainable high-speed rail investment. The proposed methodologies identify indicators for sustainable transportation systems such as economic, environmental, social, and transportation-related ones and then, explain the way how to evaluate the overall sustainability by comparing the relative importance among indicators. This will help transportation agencies to prioritize high-speed rail investment toward sustainable transportation systems.

  • This paper is aimed to priority evaluation of preliminary cases for IMO -IMS(International Maritime Organization- Information Management System) using fuzzy TOPSIS(Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution) and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). To this solve, therefore, this paper extract 24 preliminary cases and select 4 major preliminary alternative cases after analysing the structure of its alternative cases using FSM(Fuzzy Structure Modeling). Also, the weights of evaluation factors determine using AHP which able to keep the consistency when decision-makers assess. In AHP method, but, the numbers of paired comparison incerase as much as the numbers of the comparison items increase and because this evaluation have the many of vagueness, the decision of final ranking is used to fuzzy TOPSIS method which is included TOPSIS and Fuzzy Set Theory. The result are developed as order as Management of IMO Convention Information, Delivery of IMO Convention Information, Total IMO Database, Knowledge Hub of IMO Convention Information in IMO-IMS.

  • 본 논문에서는 경제학, 사회학, 수학 분야에서 수십년 전부터 연구해오던 죄수의 딜레마 게임의 협동진화에 대해 고찰해보고자 한다. 반복적 죄수의 딜레마 게임은 게임이론의 가장 기본적인 이론으로써, 사회적 상호작용, 경제활동, 국제관계 등 다양한 현상들을 모델링 하기 위한 하나의 방법이다. 그 중에 N명이 참가하는 반복적 죄수 딜레마 게임의 전략은 유전 알고리즘(Genetic Algorithms, GAs)을 통해 진화적으로 만들어 낼 수 있으며, 이 경우에 그 결과를 일반적인 내쉬 균형 이 아닌, 모든 개체들이 유전알고리즘을 통해 협동으로 수렴하도록 유도할 수 있다는 사실은 상당히 시사하는 바가 크다. 기존에 주로 연구되어오던 죄수의 딜레마 게임은 협동으로의 수렴과정에서 일반적으로 순위기반선택(Rank-based selection)과 1점 교배기법(1point crossover)을 사용한다. 그러나 순위기반선택은 모든 개체에 순위을 매겨야 하기 때문에, 개체수가 커질수록 성능이 저하되며, 1점 교배기법은 개체 값이 분산되어있을 경우, 최적해(Optimal solution)을 찾기 힘들다는 단점이 있어, 개체수가 많은 경우에 적용하기에는 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 토너먼트 선택기법(Tournament selection)과 자기 적응형 교배기법(Self-adaptive crossover)을 적용한 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 또한 기존 기법과 비교 실험을 통해 제안기법이 기존기법에 비해 평균 수렴시간과 수렴 횟수에서 뛰어난 성능을 보이고 있음을 확인하였다.

  • The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) has been widely used as a comprehensive evaluation method since it can include various evaluation standards of both the public and private sectors. It also provides the objective mathematics to process subjective and Personal preferences of an individual or a group in making a decision. This study tried to use AHP to determine the priority of roads investment, considering various effects in a hierarchy such as environmental effects, residential life, and regional development which has not been treated explicitly. As a case study, roads in Gyeongsangbukdo province have been chosen for the evaluation in this research. For the application, it used relative measurements to estimate the weight of upper level structure, and absolute measurement for low level structure instead of pairwise comparisons.

Object Detection in a Still FLIR Image using Intensity Ranking Feature (밝기순위 특징을 이용한 적외선 정지영상 내 물체검출기법)

  • In this paper, a new object detection method for FLIR images is proposed. The proposed method consists of intensity ranking feature and a classification algerian using the feature. The intensity ranking feature is a representation of an image, from which intensity distribution is regularized. Each object candidate region is classified as object or non-object by the proposed classification algorithm which is based on the intensity ranking similarity between the candidate and object training images. Using the proposed algorithm pixel-wise detection results can be obtained without any additional candidate selection algorithm. In experimental results, it is shown that the proposed ranking feature is appropriate for object detection in a FLIR image and some vehicle detection results in the situation of existing noise, scale variation, and rotation of the objects are presented.

  • The biggest characteristic of Social Network Game(SNG) is that games are played through competition and cooperation with the actual acquaintances based on SNS. Even though such competition and challenge spirit have been dealt importantly as preceding factors having influence on the flow in games in the existing game area, it is rare to find researches deeply considering the characteristics of ranking competition between acquaintances in SNG. Moreover, it was not considered that such acquaintances could be the targets of competition and also challenge at the same time in SNG. Therefore, this study examined the achievements(big differences in ranking, small differences in ranking) of the targets for comparison and closeness(strong ties, weak ties) with the targets for comparison as factors having influence on competition and challenge spirit, and also empirically analyzed the influence of such factors and interactions between factors on players' competition and challenge spirit in the ranking competitive society, by analyzing the characteristics of ranking competition between acquaintances in the mobile puzzle, SNG based on SNS through the analysis on the preceding research on the self-evaluation maintenance model of the social comparison theory. In the results, when preferentially exposing competitors with small difference in ranking and also exposing competitors with stronger ties, players' competition is stimulated, so that it can improve their challenge spirit. Such results of this study can be expected to a lot contribute to the actual design work of SNG ranking table contents.

  • 물가안정을 위해 중앙은행제도를 근본적으로 개혁하려는 움직임이 90년대 들어 전세계적으로 번져가고 있다. 이같은 움직임은 전후 50년간 통화정책을 통하여 성장과 완전고용, 대외균형, 물가안정 등 복수목표를 동시에 달성하려던 정책운영방식에 대한 반성으로부터 출발하고 있다. 따라서 제도개혁은, 통화정책 목표의 우선순위를 정비함으로써 정책목표를 물가안정으로 일원화하고 동시에 중앙은행의 독립과 책임을 강화하는 형태를 취하고 있다. 본고에서는, 최근 이같은 선진국 중앙은행제도 개혁의 개념적 기초가 된 재량적 통화정책의 인플레성향이론을 개관하고 대안으로 제시되고 있는 위임방식, 성과급 계약제, 성가(reputation)메커니즘 등을 요약하였다. 또 선진제국이, 특히 뉴질랜드가 도입하고 있는 '인플레 타깃팅제도'의 내용을 이론적 모형에 비추어 해석함으로써 현재 진행중인 우리나라 중앙은행제도 개혁방향에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다.

  • This study aims to analyze what is necessary for realization of convergence smart city service, and what is the priority order for it. First, the concept is set up through the theoretical review about convergence smart city service. Second, conduct in-depth interviews with smart-city related experts and derive the necessary elements to implement convergence smart city service. Third, derive priorities by subdividing the derived elements and utilizing the AHP method. The result of this study is expected to contribute to the development of convergence smart city service by deriving what should be considered for implementation of convergence smart city service.

  • This paper proposes a design for testability (DFT) and testability analysis method for register-transfer level (RTL) circuits. The proposed method executes testability analysis - controllability and observability - on the RTL circuit and determines the insertion points to enhance the testability. Then with the associated priority based on the testability, we insert only a few of the test multiplexers resulting in minimized area overhead. Experimental results shows a higher fault coverage and a shorter test generation time than the scan method. Also, the proposed method takes a shorter test application time required.

Optimal Allocation of Water Resources based on the Network Model (Network 모형에 의한 수자원의 최적배분)

  • The purpose of this paper is to construct a network model for the optimal allocation of limited water resources to the nodal system with given priorities. The solution technique for the model is based on the out-of-kilter algorithm(OKA). For the verification and application of the theoretical methodology and computer programs, the Geum river system is selected. Using release of Daecheong dam and water demand in Geum river basin, optimal allocation of water resources is accomplished for 4 cases(case 1 - case 4) which consider priority numbers in the demand nodes. The results of the application show that the model can reasonably represent the physical system, and water shortage at the demand nodes with high priority numbers is reduced. Its system solution was verified with that by the revised simplex algorithm.
