A Field-based Morphing with Semi-automatic Control Lines Matching Using Image Segmentation (영상 분할을 이용한 반자동 제어선 정합에 의한 필드 기반 모핑)

  • The field based morping requires the user to set most of the control lines manually which require much time and skill to get satisfactory results. This tjesis proposes a method to acquire semi-automation of image morphing through first acquiring shape information from the source image and the target image, than after the user manually designates the least amount of a pair of feature points, these are used as standards for polygon based vertex to set the appropriate control line to the source image and target image, and then using the ratio of control line lengths and space. Using the proposed method the user can reduce the time setting the control line and unskilled persons can get natural image morphing results while desingnating the least amount of control line.

  • It is difficult to control for the level of the steam generator in the nuclear power plant because there is swell and shrink, and many disturbance such as, feed water rate, feedwater temperature, main steam flow rte, coolant temperature effect steam generator level. If the conventional PI controller use in this system, we cannot have a stability in the control of the lower power, the rejection function of disturbance, and the load following effectively. In this paper, e study the application of the of neural network based Kp, Ti for Pi controller to the level control of the steam generator of nuclear power plant through the simulation and experimental on the steam generator. We are satisfied with the resulting against the inturrupt of the disturbance, the change of setpoint through the simulation and the swell and shrink, the response of controller on the experimental steam generator.

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest the guideline for scientific and quantitative skill acquisition methods of badminton smashing so that the novice could learn the motions of badminton smashing efficiently. The subject participated consisted of total 6 middle school students of the stilled(3) and the unskilled(3). The cinematographical experimental & Analysis equipments used in the study were composed of two Model D-5100 Video Cameras, a control point, a synchronization timer and Kwon3d motion analysis system. The conclusions obtained were as follows, 1. It was necessary for the unskilled to learn the smashing impact phase in situation of max. velocity of COG in order to minimize the timing loss phase. 2. Particularly. The power from segments of Power Zone must participate in utilization in sequence of order of trunk-upper arm- forearm-hand-racket segment in both the skilled and the unskilled.. 3. Therefore it was necessary for the unskilled to do smashing practice for cumulated sum of absolute & relative velocity transfer into shuttle cock after adjusting anterior-posterior tilting angle and max timing, in sequence of segment recruited.

  • 최근 한국을 포함한 여러 국가들에서 프로그래밍 교육이 중요시 되고 있다. 그러나 이런 상황으로 인해 더 많아진 학생들은 미숙함으로 인해 숙련자에 비해 더 많은 오류를 만나지만 이를 해결하기 위한 디버깅 실력은 아직 미숙하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 프로그래밍 교육 지원을 위한 초보자용 GUI 디버깅 도우미 UDB (Unity-DeBugger)를 제안한다. UDB는 제출한 학생 코드를 분석하여 반응형 추적표와 오류 로그를 생성하고 이를 기반으로 GUI 및 애니메이션으로 만들어 학생과 상호작용한다. 특히 UDB는 반응형 추적표를 통해 프로그램 안에 있는 변수들의 현재 상태를 보여주고 순방향 추적뿐만 아니라 기존 IDE의 디버깅 도구들과는 다르게 역방향 추적이 가능하다는 큰 특징이 있다. 이런 UDB를 예시 코드에 실제로 적용한 결과를 통해 미숙한 학생도 역방향 추적 기능을 사용하여 오류 원인을 쉽게 찾을 수 있음을 보인다.

A Discussion Class Model to Improve English Oral Proficiency for Intermediate Low Learners (중급 하 수준을 위한 영어말하기 능력향상 토론수업모형)

  • This paper suggests a class model to improve the English oral proficiency for intermediate low English speaking learners. Utilizing the four English skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking), the class model focuses on the learners' schema and discussion strategies. To enhance the learners' motivation and match their cognitive capacity, 10 discussion topics were prepared by surveying the learners. A pilot experiment was conducted to investigate the teaching effects of the discussion class model with 26 college students majoring in English in Seoul. The participants' oral proficiency was measured both before, and after the instructions by OPIc (Oral Proficiency Interview in computer). As a result of the experiment, the percentage of participants whose oral proficiency levels were lower than intermediate mid decreased from 82% to 47%. In addition, the percentage of participants with higher oral proficiency than intermediate low was increased dramatically from 18% to 53%, which supports the claim that through discussion, the class learners' diverse and creative ideas need to be expressed in a formal and intelligible language. Finally, through the findings of the study, the possibility of a discussion class can be expected, regardless of the learners' low level of oral proficiency.

The Necessary to Make a New Category as 'Women Laborer' : Focused on a Documentary Movie, Weabak ('여성노동자'라는 새로운 범주설정의 필요성 : 다큐멘터리 영화 <외박>을 중심으로)

  • This thesis discussed the status of women workers as wage laborers and home laborers and the valid of a documentary movie for representing women laborers through a documentary movie, Weabak that revolved around Home-ever occupation strike leaded E-Land labor union at 30th June, 2007. Jobs for women labors got covered by the flow of flexibility with the policy of labor flexibility in South Korea during 1990s. The reasons that justify this trend are their position in the households, and their roles in working places are not very important because there are not required difficult skills. The mass dismissal which caused the E-Land strike also shared these ideologies. In Weabak, since women laborers were always expected to care for their family, they were need strikes in their home as well as their working place. However, a household is a basement for them to get the identity as a women laborer. It has two ambivalent meanings, as a protected area and disorder for them to pursue their life at the same time. Identity of Women laborers, domestic laborers as well as wage laborers, are very difficult to identify as a general noun, a laborer. Weabak is an important example to show us the possibility of a documentary as searching new realism for representing women laborers' story using their own perspective.

3SLS Analysis of Technology Innovation, Employment, and Corporate Performance of South Korean Manufacturing Firms: A Quantity and Quality of Employment Perspective (한국 제조기업의 기술혁신, 고용, 기업성과 간 관계에 대한 3SLS 분석: 고용의 양적·질적 특성 관점에서)

  • This study analyzes the effects of firms' technology innovation(patent applications) on employment(number of workers and proportion of high-skilled workers) and corporate performance(sales per worker), while considering the two-way causal relationships between these variables. We used the three-stage least squares(3SLS) estimation to examine system of equations in which the dependent variables affect each other with a two-year lag wherever relevant, and applied it to firm-level panel data of Korean manufacturers with 100 or more workers. Our data covered the period of 2005-2017. Exogenous variables, such as firms' managerial and other characteristics, were controlled as explanatory variables. The identification variables for each equation included firms' R&D intensity, labor cost per worker(or operation of firms' own R&D center), and investment on worker training. We find that firms' patent applications increased number of workers, proportion of high-skilled workers, and sales per worker; the causal relationships in the opposite direction were also significant. Evidently, firms' technology innovation is critical to the growth and quality improvement of employment as well as sustainable corporate growth.

  • 인간-컴퓨터 상호작용(HCI) 기술은 과거 컴퓨터란 어렵고 소수의 숙련자만이 다루는 것이라는 인식을 바꾸어 놓았다. HCI 는 컴퓨터 사용자인 인간에게 거부감 없이 수용되기 위해 인간과 컴퓨터가 조화를 이루는데 많은 성과를 거두어왔다. 컴퓨터 비전에 기반을 두고 인간과 컴퓨터의 상호작용을 위하여 사용자 의도 및 행위 인식 연구들이 많이 행해져 왔다. 특히 손을 이용한 제스처는 인간과 인간, 인간과 컴퓨터 그리고 최근에 각광받고 있는 인간과 로봇의 상호작용에 중요한 역할을 해오고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 손 추출 및 추적 알고리즘은 비전에 기반한 호출자 인식과 손 추적 알고리즘을 병행한 자연스러운 손 추출 및 추적 알고리즘이다. 인간과 인간 사이의 상호간의 주의집중 방식인 호출 제스처를 인식하여 기반하여 사용자가 인간과 의사소통 하는 것과 마찬가지로 컴퓨터/로봇의 주의집중을 끌도록 하였다. 또한 호출 제스처에 의해서 추출된 손동작을 추적하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 호출 제스처는 카메라 앞에 존재할 때 컴퓨터/로봇의 사용자가 자신에게 주의를 끌 수 있는 자연스러운 행동이다. 호출 제스처 인식을 통해 복수의 사람이 존재하는 상황 하에서 또한 원거리에서도 사용자는 자신의 의사를 전달하고자 함을 컴퓨터/로봇에게 알릴 수 있다. 호출 제스처를 이용한 손 추출 방식은 자연스러운 손 추출을 할 수 있도록 한다. 현재까지 알려진 손 추출 방식은 피부색을 이용하고 일정 범위 안에 손이 존재한다는 가정하에 이루어져왔다. 이는 사용자가 제스처를 하기 위해서는 특정 자세로 고정되어 있어야 함을 의미한다. 그러나 호출 제스처를 통해 손을 추출하게 될 경우 서거나 앉거나 심지어 누워있는 상태 등 자연스러운 자세에서 손을 추출할 수 있게 되어 사용자의 불편함을 해소 할 수 있다. 손 추적 알고리즘은 자연스러운 상황에서 획득된 손의 위치 정보를 추적하도록 고안되었다. 제안한 알고리즘은 색깔정보와 모션 정보를 융합하여 손의 위치를 검출한다. 손의 피부색 정보는 신경망으로 다양한 피부색 그룹과 피부색이 아닌 그룹을 학습시켜 얻었다. 손의 모션 정보는 연속 영상에서 프레임간에 일정 수준 이상의 차이를 보이는 영역을 추출하였다. 피부색정보와 모션정보로 융합된 영상에서 블랍 분석을 하고 이를 민쉬프트로 추적하여 손을 추적하였다. 제안된 손 추출 및 추적 방법은 컴퓨터/로봇의 사용자가 인간과 마주하듯 컴퓨터/로봇의 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 하는데 주목적을 두고 있다.

The Process of the Interjoint and Intersegmental Coordination of Side Kick Motion in Taekwondo (태권도 옆차기 동작의 인체관절과 분절사이의 협응 과정)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate interjoint and intersegmental coordination of lower segments in skill process. For the investigation, we examined the difference of resultant linear velocity of segments and angle vs angle graph. Novice subjects were 9 male middle school students who have never been experienced a taekwondo. We analyzed kinematic variables of Side Kick motion through videographical analysis. The conclusions were as follows. 1. Examining the graph of novice subjects' maximal resultant linear velocity of the thigh, shank, and foot segment, as it gets closer to the end of the training, the maximal resultant linear velocity in each segment increases which can be assumed to be a result of the effective momentum transfer between adjacent segments. 2 This research showed a sequential transfer from trunk, to thigh, and then to shank as it gets closer to the end of learning at intersegment angular velocity, and it also showed pattern of throwlike motion and pushlike motion. 3. In three dimension of flexion-extension, adduction-abduction and internal-external rotation of the thigh and shank segment, the angle-angle diagram of knee joint and of hip joint showed that dynamic change was indicated at the beginning of learning but stable coordination pattern was indicated like skilled subject as novice subjects became skilled.

CosmoScriBe 2.0 : The development of Korean transcription tools (CosmoScriBe 2.0: 한국어 전사 도구의 개발)

  • In spoken language research, transcription process needs to be carried out to translate voice data into text. Transcription tool, support program of transcription, offers various information such as content and time of utterance and speaker information. For this reason, inexperienced computer users are having trouble familiarizing with the program. Moreover, since there are little transcription tools developed domestically in Korea, they are usually not suitable for Korean environment. In this paper, we propose a transcription tool which supports not only Korean transcription but easy-to-use interface environment for novice. The transcription supporting function is also provided to minimize mistake that might happen in the process of transcription. And a system structure will be provided for data reliability. Usability of the proposed tool is evaluated in accordance with transcription experience. The evaluation result shows that transcription process and transcription support function have become faster and more convenient respectively.
