In order to develop an intelligent delivery system for cosmetic active agents (e.g., arbutin, ascorbic acid, and adenosine), pH-responsive P(MAA-co-PEGMA) hydrogel particles having an average size of approx. $2{\mu}m$ and spherical shape were synthesized via dispersion photopolymerization. There was a drastic change in the swelling ratio of P (MAA-co-PEGMA) hydro gels at a pH 5, which is the $pK_a$ of the hydrogel. To determine the factors that have an effect on the loading of cosmetic active agents into the hydrogel, the loading efficiency of the active agents was investigated at various MAA and EG compositions of the hydrogel and the loading pH conditions. When the MAA contents in the hydrogel decreased, the loading efficiency of the active agents increased. In loading experiments with different pH conditions, the active agents showed higher loading efficiency into the hydrogel at the pH where the hydrogel was at the swollen state than at the pH where the electrostatic repulsion was minimized.

In this study aluminium sulfate, Ca(OH)$_2$, K-R Slag and $Na_2SO_4$ were used as active admixtures and their concentration 1, 3, 5, 7 weight percent in cement. The physical properties of active admixtures cement mortar were investigated by flow test and compressive strength. It was found that the resulting active admixtures exhibited the higher compressive strength than OPC mortar up. From the test results, cement mortars added active admixture have a good fundamental property.
After technical pesticides and dispersants were dissolved in a volatile organic solvent, the wettable powders(WP's) were formulated by adsorbing the pesticide-dispersant solution to finely powdered porous synthetic silica without milling process. The median sizes of 11 WP'S were smaller than $8{\mu}m$, 9 of which had more than 80% suspensibility after 2 hours. It was possible In formulate 50% WP for liquid of fly technical pesticides. The pesticidal efficacies of WP's tested were comparable In commercial formulations regardless of suspensibilities of WP's.
Active belite cement clinkers were synthsized by using natural raw materials with borax and calcium phosphate ({{{{ {Ca }_{3 }( {PO}_{4}) }}2) In both case {{{{alpha ^、 {C }_{2 }S }} were formed but borax was more efficient. The cement syn-thesized with the addition of borax was hydrated with the addition of anhydrite(5 wt%) and slag(30wt%, 40wt% 50wt%) The addition of 50wt% slag with anhydrite was good for strength development in 7days and the compressive strength was developed to twice than no addition of slag at 28 days strength.

The present study proposes the modified-stoichiometric model for describing hydration of sodium silicate-based alkaliactivated slag(AAS), and compares the results with the thermodynamic modelling-based calculations. The proposed model is based on Chen and Brouwers(2007a) model with updated database as reported in recent studies. In addition, the calculated results for AAS are compared to those for hydrated portland cement. The maximum difference between the proposed model and the thermodynamic calculation for AAS was at most 20%, and the effects of water-to-binder ratio and activator dosages were identically described by both approaches. In particular, the amount of non-evaporable water was within 10% difference, and was in excellent agreement with the experimental results. Nevertheless, notable deviation was observed for the chemical shrinkage, which is largely dependent on the volume of hydrates and pores.
The present study was carried out to find a suitable drying method for the determination of non-evaporable water in hydraulic inorganic materials. In Part 1 of the paper, the case ordinary Portland cement was discussed and, in this Part 2, the case of alkali active slag (AAS) was investigated. Various drying methods including vacuum and oven drying, and an ignition, were used for the AAS system having different w/b, types and amounts of alkali activators. It was found that a combination of the vacuum and oven drying was a suitable drying method for the AAS case. Although a part of the crystallized water in hydration products was decomposed, but the free and adsorbed water could be completely evaporated and the deviation of the results was small.

This study aims to obtain technical data for improvement of utilization of Blast Furnace Slag(BFS), recycled aggregate in the future by complementing fundamental problems of BFS such as manifestation of initial strength and excessive alkali quantity as well as weakness of recycled fine aggregate through manufacturing of recycled fine aggregate mortar using BFS. The recycled aggregate includes the cement paste hardened as the surface and the type of the aggregate, which contains plenty of calcium hydroxide($Ca(OH)_2$) as well as the unhydrated cement. Accordingly, the objectives of this study are to inspect the manufacturing the recycled fine aggregate mortar used with blast furnace slag, to consider the effects of the recycled aggregate on the strength development of ground granulated blast furnace slag, and then to acquire the technical data to take into consideration the further usages of the recycled aggregate and blast furnace slag. In eluted ions from recycled aggregate, it showed that there were natrium($Na^+$) and kalium($K^+$), expected to be flown out of unhydrated cement, as well as calcium hydroxide($Ca(OH)_2$). Application of this water to mix cement mortar with ground granulated blast furnace slag was observed to expedite hydration as calcium hydroxide($Ca(OH)_2$) and unhydrated cement component were expressed to give stimuli effects on ground granulated blast furnace slag. The results of the experiment show that the recycled aggregate mixed with blast furnace slag has comparatively higher hydration activity in 7 day than the mortar not mixed with one in 3 day mortar does, causing the calcium hydroxide in the recycled fine aggregate to work on as a stimulus to the hydration of ground granulated blast furnace slag.
In order to use the high-volume slag cement as a construction materials, a proper activator which can improve the latent hydraulic reactivity is required. The dissolved aluminum silicon ions from ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) react with sulfate ions to form ettringite. The proper formation of ettringite can increase the early-age strength of high-volume GGBFS (80%) cement. The aim of this study is to investigate the hydration properties with sulfate activators (sodium sulfate, anhydrite). In this paper, the effects of $Na_2SO_4$ and $CaSO_4$ on setting, compressive strength, hydration, micro-structure were investigated in high-volume GGBFS cement and compared with those of without activator. Test results indicate that equivalent $SO_3$ content of 3~5% improve the early-age hydration properties such as compressive strength, heat evolution rate, micro-pore structure in high-volume GGBFS cement.
