Numerical simulation was carried out for the SNECMA modulatable thrust devices, with four different nozzle contraction angle $45^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$, $83^{\circ}$, and $90^{\circ}$, respectively. Results show that $83^{\circ}$ nozzle contraction is better in that it comes up with good thrust level with small aerodynamic load.
In the concrete st~uctures exposed to the environmental condition, the water movement is occurred by thc moisture difilsion, and the rnoisturrt distribution in concwt.c is nonunifhrm. Such a non-unif'orm moisture distribution causes tht. diflbrent.ia1 drying shrinkage in concrete structures. From this typc. of' dif'fercntial drying shrinkagr' tensiit-1 stress is occurred in exposure surface of concrete structures. and may result in crack formation. This residual stress is significantly affected by the creep of concrete, and the differential creep is also occurred at the cross section of concrete structures due to moisture difference at each locations. In this study, based on the moisture diffusion theory, a finite element program which is capable of simulating the moisture distribution in concrete was developed. And the analysis method for the differential drying shrinkage was suggested, in which the differential creep was considered. The differential drying shrinkage strain was also measured at various positions of concrete. Finally the validity of analysis method was proved by comparing test results with analytical results.

Fire extinguishing systems are essential equipment in all indoor facilities to address unexpected fire scenarios, and appropriate fire extinguishing agent should be used depending on the place and object to protect. Among these, gaseous fire-extinguishing systems are used to protect electronic equipment. Therefore, inert gases that do not undergo chemical reactions are used mainly in those systems. On the other hand, recently, owing to the high integration of electronic equipment, there are some cases, in which large noise generated from gaseous systems damage the electronic equipment. In this study, numerical analysis of the discharge noise with various nozzle contraction angles was carried out to improve the gas fire extinguishing system. Numerical analysis was carried out using ANSYS FLUENT ver 18.1. The causes of the noise were elucidated using the swirl distribution. The noise level of the modified model was reduced by approximately 6 dB compared to the reference model, which is similar to the result of a previous study, confirming the validity of the method.
The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in mechanical properties of human tibialis anterior following eccentric exercise. Healthy subjects (n=12) performed 120 maximum eccentric contraction of ankle dorsiflexor. Before and 1- and 24- hour after the eccentric exercise, ankle dorsiflexion moment-angle relationships were obtained. Along with significant decrease in maximum isometric muscle strength, the shift of the optimum ankle joint angle toward the longer muscle length direction was observed, independent of the ranges of motion of the eccentric exercise. The results of this study demonstrated that eccentric exercise-induced micro muscle damage(Morgan & Allen, 1999) does rut seem to be a sole mechanism of eccentric contraction-induced muscle damage, suggesting further investigation for the better understandings of this phenomenon.

This research was conducted length variation test for analyze the characteristics of shrinkage of concrete pavement along with changes of respective kinds of fibers. As a result, fiber-reinforced concrete has showed tendency that of enhanced performance compared to Plain in every kinds of shrinkage resistance performance especially on drying shrinkage. For the case of using domestic polypropylene fiber, a drying shrinkage has resulted in about 75% decrease compared to Plain.

Polymerization shrinkage of photoinitiation type composite resin cause several clinical problems. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the shrinkage strain stress, linear polymerization shrinkage, compressive strength and microhardness of recently developed composite resins. The composite resins were divided into four groups according to the contents of matrix and filler type. Group I : $Denfil^{TM}$(Vericom, Korea) with conventional matrix, Group II : $Charmfil^{(R)}$(Dentkist, Korea) with microfiller and nanofller mixture, Group III : $Filtek^{TM}$ Z250(3M-ESPE, USA) TEGDMA replaced by UDMA and Bis-EMA(6) in the matrix, and Group IV : $Filtek^{TM}$ Supreme(3M-ESPE, USA) using pure nanofiller. Preparation of acrylic molds were followed by filling and curing with light gun. Strain gauges were attached to each sample and the leads were connected to a strainmeter. With strainmeter shrinkage strain stress and linear polymerization shrinkage was measured for 10 minutes. The data detected at 1 minute and 10 minutes were analysed statistically with ONE-way ANOVA test. To evaluate the mechanical properties of tested materials, compressive hardness test and microhardness test were also rendered. The results can be summarized as follows : 1. Filling materials in acrylic molds showed initial temporary expansion in the early phase of polymerization. This was followed by contraction with the rapid increase in strain stress during the first 1 minute and gradually decreased during post-gel shrinkage phase. After 1 minute, there's no statistical differences of strain stress between groups. The highest strain stress was found in group IV and followed by group III, I, II at 10 minutes-measurement(p>.05). In regression analysis of strain stress, group III showed minimal inclination and followed by group II, I, IV during 1 minute. 2. In linear polymerization shrinkage test, the composite resins in every group showed initial increase of shrinkage velocity during the first 1 minute, followed by gradually decrease of shrinkage velocity. After 1 minute, group IV and group III showed statistical difference(p<.05). After 10 minutes, there were statistical differences between group IV and group I, III(p<.05) and between group II and group III(p<.05). In regression analysis of linear polymerization shrinkage, group II showed minimal inclination and followed by group IV, III, I during 1 minute. 3. In compressive strength test, group III showed the highest strength and followed by group II, IV, I. There were statistical differences between group III and group IV, I(p<.05). 4. In microhardness test, upper surfaces showed higher value than lower surfaces in every group(p<.05).
Influences of trigger calcium on myocardial contraction from several sources were investigated on the frequency reduction-induced changes of contraction in rat left atria driven by electrical field stimulation. Rat atria elicited characteristic three phase-changes according to frequency reduction: the first rapid rise in twitch tension, the second transient fast decrease in tension and the third maintenance of twitch tension at about 200% of resting tension during high frequency. Caffeine treatment enormously suppressed the frequency reduction-induced twitch tension increase. The atrial contraction during high frequency vanished after verapamil treatment. But, during low frequency, atrial contraction revived in the presence of verapamil. Ouabain treatment and sodium depletion in superfusing solution abolished the characteristic second phase with slow frequency. These results suggest that slow calcium channel is an indispensable calcium entry route and calcium release from sarcoplasmic reticulum is an major source for trigger calcium in cardiac contraction. And sodium-calcium exchange has a modulatory roles in the regualtion of trigger calcium according to the changes of intracellular sodium concentration.

A theoretical analysis is developed for an annular injection type supersonic ejector having a second-throat downstream under the assumption that the Fabri-chocking is placed in mixing chamber. Non-mixing theory is applied to formulate secondary flow pressure in the region between inlet of the mixing chamber and Fabri-chocking. To describe the shock standing at the inlet of the mixing chamber, two dimensional oblique shock relations are used and it is assumed that the shock affects only primary flow at Fabri-chocking plane. In conclusion, it agrees well with experiments in case of small contracting angle of mixing chamber, under 4degrees.
