An underwater mooing target position tracking system using image tracking system of CPMC is developed to use in a test basin. Generally the performance tests of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles(AUVs) are conducted in the sea. Some efforts to perform the test in a test basin are exist, because the real sea tests need much time and manpower. And also the real sea tests are high cost. There is a restriction to acquire the position of AUVs using sonar sensor system in the test tank, because many sound reflecters are exist in a test basin. In this paper a position tracking system for underwater mooing target developed to break though this restriction. A Tank-test is conducted to examine the performance of the position tracking system.
For the seafloor acoustic image mapping of side scan sonar, the beginning step of the procedure is to fix the absolute sonar (tow-fish) position since the sonar is not hull mounted but towed astern. The technical algorithm used to calculate the actual sonar position without any other additional sub-system, i.e., the underwater acoustic position tracking system or the sonar attitude measuring device, was proposed. In the seafloor image mosaic mapping results using the sonar track (not ship track) developed in this study, any ambiguity or inconsistency of seafloor features was not found. The incidental effect from the sonar position determination procedure orients the towing direction of sonar to be smooth, consequently the swath pattern on the across-track direction becomes stable and the blanking phenomenon of the insonification area is reduced conspicuously. This technical method is considered to be an useful tool when applied toother underwater towing vehicle surveys.
This paper describes the results of 3 years project on the design and development of a 500 meter class ocean survery ROV model. The design concept and the design procedure are given for each component of the ROV model. The design concept and the design procedure are given for each component of the ROV. Special emphasis is laid on the development of the position control system together with the development of the performance evaluation technique.

In order to inspect the existing or newly constructed ship's hull, a professional diver directly inspects the ship's bottom of the water. However, since it is a work done by people, there are many dangers such as human casualties and crashes. To solve this problem, it is necessary to develop underwater drones for ship inspection for visual inspection. The technology applied to underwater drones, the use and manufacturing process of each component, and the method of manufacture such as firmware development were described, and the difference was compared by measuring the drone's own driving ability and driving ability using crawler under water, and the location tracking device test confirmed the error from the actual location. It is estimated that the use of underwater drones produced through this research will prevent human casualties and achieve economic effects and stability.

This paper represents the multiple sensor fusion algorithm for the deep-sea unmanned underwater vehicles (UUV), composed of a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) 'Hemire' and a depressor 'Henuvy'. The performance of underwater positioning system usually highly depend on that of acoustic sensors such as ultra short base line(USBL), long base line(LBL) and altimeter. A practical sensor fusion algorithm is proposed in the sense of a moving window concept. The performance of the proposed algorithm can be observed by applying the algorithm to the Hemire sea trial data which was measured at the East Sea.
This paper implements a system that monitors human body lifting information in the event of a marine accident. The monitoring system performs ultrasonic communication through a lifting device controller that transmits underwater environment information, and LoRa communication is performed on the water to provide GPS information within 10 km to the control center or mother ship. The underwater lifting controller transmits pneumatic sensor, gyro sensor, and temperature sensor information. In an environment where the underwater conditions increase by one atmosphere of water pressure every 10m in depth, and the amount of air in the instrument decreases by half compared to land, a model of a 60kg underwater mannequin is used. Using one 38g CO2 cartridge in the lifting appliance SMB(Surface Maker Buoy), carry out a lifting appliance discharge test based on the water level rise conditions within 10 sec. Underwater communication constitutes a data transmission environment using a 2,400-bps ultrasonic sensor from a depth of 40m to 100m. The monitoring signal aims to ensure the safety and safe human structure of the salvage worker by providing water depth, water temperature, and directional angle to rescue workers on the surface of the water.

In this paper we executed a SBL(Short Baseline) underwater acoustic positioning system that is a kind of underwater position estimation system to estimates the 3-dimensional position of ROV(Remotely Operated Vehicle) using hydrophones and DAQ(Data Acquisition) system in the basin which dimensions are $3{\times}3{\times}1.7(m)$. For this experiment, we let 4 hydrophones in different positions of the basin for receiver and 1 hydrophone is fixed on the underwater vehicle for transmitting sensor(pinger). These five hydrophones are communicated with each other to find the 3-D positions of the moving ROV in the basin. The measured signals are collected by DAQ system and the positions of the ROV are plotted by LabView program in real-time. To estimate the position of the ROV we used a trigonometric method. In X and Y plane the estimated data has a small errors but in Z plane the estimated data has large errors so we cannot use this data for position control. One solution of this problem is using depth sensor that implemented of the underwater vehicle. Hereafter, we will test in the ocean using designed SBL system.
This study investigated the hydraulic impact scope and dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration distribution by the micro-bubble aeration in the Juksan Lake located in Asan city in Chungcheongnam-do province. A tracing experiment for hydraulic impact scope was used which constituted a 20% rhodamine solution. A 160 m-guideline was installed in the horizontal direction of the micro-bubble jet flow and the rhodamine concentration, water temperature, and DO concentration were measured at depths of 1 m, 2 m, and 3 m at intervals of 10 m. In the Juksan Lake, the effective range of jet flow discharged by the micro-bubble generator was about 40 m, and after then the jet plume moved up to 80 m to 120 m through the advection and diffusion processes of ambient water. DO concentration in the lake was maintained at 7.4-12.6 mg/L during tracking experiment. The DO of the lake sediments improved from 0.2 mg/L to 8.0 mg/L after applying micro-bubble aeration. In conclusion, the micro-bubble aeration can be an effective technology for the management and improvement of water quality in an agricultural reservoir.
