Rail로 세상을 연결하여 국민의 행복을 창조하기 위해 노력하는 한국철도시설공단(이사장 강영일)은 수서~평택 간 수도권 고속철도사업을 올해 안으로 완수하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 한국철도시설공단이 추진하는 수도권고속철도(수서~평택) 건설사업은 서울 강남의 수서역에서 출발하여 동탄역을 거쳐, 평택역에서 현재 운영 중인 경부고속철도와 접속하는 노선으로 총 3조7천억원이 투입됐다. 지난 2011년 착공하여 올해 말까지 완공할 계획으로, 대부분의 구간을 지하로 건설한다. 수도권고속철도가 건설되면 KTX 수서역 동탄역이 신설되어 서울 강남 강동권 및 경기 동남부 지역까지 KTX 수혜범위가 확대되고 수서에서 부산까지 2시간 2분, 목포까지 1시간 52분으로 운행시간이 크게 단축되어 이용객 증가는 물론 지역균형발전과 성장동력 확보에 기여할 것으로 예상된다. 본지는 수서역사와 율현터널 현장에서 한국철도시설공단 수도권고속철도건설단 건축설비부 신승섭 차장(기계설비 감독관)과 율현터널(제1공구) 기계설비를 시공 중인 (주)세화이엔지[대표 박현수] 윤한식 현장소장, 수서역사 기계설비를 시공 중인 (주)초록이노텍[대표 양기준] 홍승훈 현장소장, (주)서한종합건축사사무소 홍형창 기계부장(감리단)을 만나보았다.

This paper is a study on the current statues of the shared acquisition system of occidental journals in 6 university libraries belonging to Pusan-Kyungnam Area University Information Cooperation Council. The study discusses theoretical background of a shared acquisition in general and historical development and analyzes the current status of the system. Also the study examines the usefulness. effectiveness and problems of the system.

도서관에서 수서업무를 위한 도구로 가상서점이 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. 그동안 수서업무에서 인터넷을 사용한다 함은 단순히 온라인 상에서 DB화된 자료에 액세스 하여 자료의 유무를 파악하거나 서지사항을 조사하여 필요한 자료를 일정한 양식에 따라 주문하는 정도에 그쳤다. 이 논문은 그 범위를 확대하여 인터넷 웹의 새로운 환경에서 운영되는 전자상거래를 통해 도서관 장서개발의 새로운 도구로 활용되고 있는 가상서점을 이용하여 수서업무를 좀더 효과적으로 수행하기 위한 방법을 연구하였다.

Extensive monitoring of aquatic organisms in rice paddy fields has been difficult due to laborious sampling methods such as quadrat sampling using a hand net. This study aimed to analyze temporal and regional community compositions of aquatic organisms collected with a less time-consuming sampling method. This method involved using submerged funnel traps in rice paddy fields. Submerged funnel traps were useful for capturing taxa containing species that are indicative of environmental changes and highly mobile species that feed on waterbirds. Fifteen taxa including Ampullariidae, Cobitidae, Chironomidae, Hydrophilidae and Dytiscidae determined the community compositions. Among the major taxa, only Chironomidae resistant to environmental disturbances represented temporal variations of aquatic organism communities in rice paddy fields. Ampullariidae, Dytiscidae, and Hydrophilidae, which are prone to be affected by anthropogenic activities, differed among regions.

PDA model is new collection development method not only corresponding user's demand, but also expensing acquisition budget effectively. In the PDA model, when the trigger that indicates user's demand reaches up to treshold, e-book is automatically purchased without librarian's interrogation. This study examines concept, basic principles, and current condition of operation about PDA and finds a way that could applicate to Korean university library foreign E-book consortium. Current model of university library e-book acquisition pursuit reduction of budget and utility value, but the selected collection is not based on user's demand. Therefore, it could be considerable to apply PDA or evidence based purchase model to foreign e-book acquisition consortium.

‘역자 주-이글은 미국도서관협회 산하인 대학 및 조사연구도서관협회에서 발행하는 월간지’College and Research Libraries' 1973년 3월호(제23권 2호)에 실린 글이다. 컴퓨터가 도서관계에 많이 도입되고는 있지만 수서 및 목록문제는 여전히 가장 중심적인 문제로서 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 그렇기 때문에 미국에서 국가적으로 계획을 추진하고 있는 것이다. 계획적인 수서와 협동목록이 국가적인 견지에서 볼 때 막대한 재정절감을 가져올 수 있는 것이기 때문이다. 비록 우리들의 형편이 컴퓨터를 미국에서와 같이 광범위하게 활용할 수 있는 단계에 있지는 않으나 선진국의 도서관들에게 다소나마 도움과 자극을 줄 수 있다면 역자로서 매우 만족스럽게 생각하는 바이다. 원문 명 및 필자: The national Program for Acquisitions and Cataloging : Its Impact on University Libraries, by Carol F. Research libraries, facing the difficulties in building sufficient collections to meet the various users, have implemented various cooperative acquisition programs. In recent years, Internet and other information technology enables more effective and efficient cooperation among research libraries. This paper reviews the methods and cases of cooperative acquisitions among research libraries, including CRL, OhioLINK, RLG Conspectus, TRLN Discussing the backgrounds and related issues. several strategies were suggested for the continuous implementation for cooperative acquisition.

This study is a qualitative study on the workplace experience of electronic resource acquisition librarian in university libraries. The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of their task and roles, new change of their role. For this study, we conducted in-depth interviews with 9 electronic resource acquisition librarian in academic libraries and applied phenomenological research method. As result of analysis, 3 catagories were appeared from 11 themes as data analysis. These catagories were characterized as follows: 'coping with structural problems of the real obstacles', 'enduring of psychological pressure', and 'growing as professional with competency'. It is expected to further study on competency for electronic resource acquisition librarian.

쌀 생산관리 방법에 따른 논 생태계의 생물다양성을 조사하기 위하여 관행, 우렁이, 투구새우, 심수관개, 오리농법 등으로 구분하여 벼 재배기간 동안 수서생물종과 식물종을 조사하였다. 논물과 토양에 서식하는 생물종을 쿼드라트법을 활용하여 조사한 결과, 토양생물의 풍부도는 이앙기는 관행농법, 분얼기에는 투구새우 농법이 높았으며, 출수기에는 무논, 쌀겨 농법에서 가장 많은 토양생물이 서식하고 있었다. 또한, 줄 채집에 의한 수서생물 종은 분얼기와 출수기, 육상생물은 수확기때 풍부하였으며 관행농법은 분얼기에 가장 출현종이 많았던 반면 오리농법은 전 조사기간 동안 가장 개체수가 적었으며 무논+쌀겨농법이 생물다양성 기여도가 가장 높았다. 생물조사 결과 관행보다는 유기재배논에서 종 풍부도가 2배이상 높게 나타났으며, 쌀겨농법은 이앙기~분얼기까지는 쌀겨 분해에 따른 유기산에 의해 수서곤충이 급감되나 분얼기이후 개체수가 회복되어 무논+쌀겨구에서 가장 높았다. 전 조사지점 논둑의 식물 분포는 농법별 유의성이 없었으며 논둑의 우점식물은 쑥, 개망초,질경이, 클로버, 미나리, 미국가막사리, 쇠뜨기, 둑새풀, 미나리 등이었다. 출수기를 전후하여 관행논과 유기논, 그리고 둠벙의 유무로 구분하여 생물종을 조사한 결과, 먼저 관행논과 유기논에서 서식하는 생물종은 비슷하지만 수서생물의 개체수는 유기논이 관행논보다 43-54%나 많았다. 한편, 둠벙의 유무에 의한 생물조사에서는 둠벙이 있는 논이 없는 논보다 서식종이 35-47%정도 높은 경향을 나타내어 생물다양성을 증진하기위해서는 낙수기때 수서생물들의 피난처를 확보하여 주는 소규모 둠벙이 효과적인 것으로 판단되었다.
