The Influence of Background Music of TV Home Shopping on Purchase Intent of Customers (TV홈쇼핑 배경음악이 소비자의 구매의사에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, as TV home shopping has entered into the stage of stability, competition between the same lines of business has become more intense. Thus, this research goals have been determined in order to analyze the purchase intent of customers related with the genre and tempo of background music of TV home shopping by different types of products. In order to achieve the research goals, thorough research on related literatures have been conducted and found out about the background music. Furthermore, the characteristics of background music of actual TV home shopping broadcasting have been analyzed, focusing on the genre and tempo of the music. In addition, a survey has been conducted in order to verify what kind of music genre and tempo of the background music has an influence on the highest purchase intent of the chosen three products(sportswear, household appliances, fresh and processed foods). This study investigated the influence of background music of TV home shopping in relation to the purchase intent of customers. Also, this study has significance in the sense that it analyzed the causal relationship between the background music of home shopping and reactions of customers by categorizing products in details and using the music genre and tempo as the independent variables that affect the purchase intent of customers.

  • The current study extends previous research by investigating the role of shopping experience and product type within the direction of online reviews and information reliability and product attitude. To test the hypotheses, this study conducted experimental designs. Direction of online reviews and product type were manipulated as between-subject factors. Then participants were classified into high or low group based on their shopping frequency. Dependent variable was information reliability and product attitude. The results indicate that direction of online reviews have a significant effect on both information reliability and product attitude. In addition, consumers' shopping experience also shows a moderating effect between the direction of online reviews and the dependent variables. Furthermore, product type also shows a moderating effect on the information reliability, yet not on the product attitude. The results of this study contribute to the literature as a new attempt to examine the direction of online reviews in the online shopping area. We also indicated the limitations of this study, and suggested the future research directions.

  • LG 경제연구원이 발표한 보고서에 의하면, 국내 인터넷 쇼핑몰 시장이 2003년에는 1조 7000억원 규모를 상회할 것으로 예측되고 있다. 그러나 급격한 성장세를 보이고 있는 인터넷 쇼핑 시장규모에 비해 아직까지도 소비자와 관련된 연구는 많이 부족한 실정이다. 특히, 인터넷 쇼핑과 관련된 자료를 보면 소비자들은 인터넷을 통한 제품구매 시 여전히 불안감을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있음에도 불구하고 인터넷쇼핑에서의 지각된 위험에 대한 연구는 간헐적으로 이루어지고 있을 뿐이며, 이들 연구 역시 인터넷 쇼핑에서의 지각된 위험과 그 유형을 규명하는 데에만 초점을 맞추고 있어 지각된 위험수준에 따라 소비자의 구매행동이 어떻게 달라지는지에 대해서는 논의가 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지각된 위험수준에 따른 소비자의 구매행동을 브랜드와 가격 의존도로 한정시켜 이들 요인들간의 상대적 중요성 지각을 살펴볼 것이다. 본 연구에서 다룰 연구문제를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 제품 구매시 제품유형과 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 명성 그리고 인터넷 쇼핑경험의 세 변수는 소비자의 지각된 위험에 각각 어떤 영향을 미치며, 탐색재와 경험재, 인터넷 쇼핑몰 명성의 정도 그리고 인터넷 쇼핑경험의 유무에 따라 어떤 차이점이 존재하는가\ulcorner 둘째, 소비자의 지각된 위험의 수준과 브랜드와 가격의 상대적 중요성 지각과는 어떤 관계가 있는가\ulcorner 셋째, 브랜드와 가격의 상대적 중요성 지각정도에 두 매개변수인 제품 정보량과 제품 친숙도가 어떤 역할을 하는가\ulcorner 등이다.bition of severity of convulsions, decrease of seizures threshold, decrease of audiogenic seizures in rats of different strains and normalization of cerebral blood flow (measured by hydrogen test) were demonstrated in rats after i.c.v., intraperitoneally and orally administration, respectively.   • This study was researched by practical method in a subjectivity study accessible in-depth, in sloughing off old habit of functional quantity analysis about product-selectivity on role of Home-shopping TV MD. The perception pattern come out in this study were divided into four types in Q-methodology. The result is as follows ; it is that divided '1[(N=9) : No-relationship Type], 2[(N=3) : Experience-oriented Type], 3[(N=5) : Ability-focus Type], 4[(N=1) : Drive-importance Type]'. Like this, it found that is very different type all over. In conclusion, this study is to ascertain acceptance behavior about Reception Type on product-selectivity on role of Home-shopping TV MD ; to offer a developmental suggestion about it.

The study about apparel shopping behavior types of internet shopper (인터넷 쇼핑몰 이용자의 의류상품 쇼핑행동 유형 연구)

  • This study was carried out in the purpose of proposing internet marketing strategy which can make conversion rate higher through analysis of internet shopping behavior types. This study was executed in two stages; qualitative study, quantitative study. In the qualitative study, internet shopping behavior types were investigated through the In-depth interview and direct observation, and then in the quantitative study, differences of internet shopping behavior types according to consumer characteristics, product properties and shopping-mall types were examined. For qualitative study, 30 samples by focus sampling were inquired and for quantitative study, 334 data were collected through web survey. The results of this study are as follows: First, 7 Internet shopping behavior types of apparel were found through the qualitative study: cautious purchase by price comparison, searching purchase, special low price purchase, impulse purchase, prepurchase deliberation, information accumulation, recreation-oriented. Second, in relation to consumer characteristics, consumers that have many internet purchase experiences showed goal-directed behavior more and female did more special low price purchase behavior and impulse purchase behavior than male. Third, according to product properties, high price product led more cautious purchase by price comparison & prepurchase deliberation behavior and fashionable product led more information-searching behavior. In the case of low price and fashionable products, impulse purchase behaviors were showed more. Forth, according to Internet shopping mall types, category killer shopping mall visitors showed information search behavior, recreation-oriented behavior more.

  • 인터넷 쇼핑몰은 인터넷의 확산과 더불어 괄목할 만한 성장을 하고 있는 분야로서, 이제는 쇼핑몰과 관련이 없던 기존의 인터넷 사이트들 역시, 전문몰이든 종합몰이든 그 형태에 상관없이 쇼핑몰을 운영하는 상황에 이르렀다. 이처럼 인터넷 쇼핑몰들은 날로 치열해지는 경쟁 상황에서 살아남기 위하여 고객들의 애호도 증진을 통한 장기적 경쟁 우위의 확보에 노력하고 있다. 본 연구는 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서의 고객애호도를 결정짓는 요인들을 실증적 자료를 통해 살펴보았다. 먼저 고객의 관점에서 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 품질을 평가하는 변수들과 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 고객특성에 대한 평가 척도들을 세분화하고 이들과 고객애호도와의 관계를 파악하는 한편, 온라인 몰과 온라인 스토어 프론트로 구분된 소매점 유형에 따른 고객애호도 결정요인을 각각 규명하였다. 연구결과를 토대로 인터넷 쇼핑몰들의 소비자 애호도 증진 전략을 논하였다.

Exploring the Technology Fit of Digital Media on Product Shopping Task (디지털 매체 기술과 제품 구매 태스크의 적합성 탐색)

  • In this paper, we draw upon Task-Technology Fit theory to investigate the fit attributes which impacted on customer preference over three virtual shopping channels which included TV home shopping, Internet shopping, and broadband applications, i.e. IPTV. The fit attributes also reflected the product category contingency, which is classified based on the degree of quality assessing difficulty on the web, such as quasi-commodity, look and feel goods, and look and feel with variable quality goods. Using the collected survey data, we employed stepwise regression analysis to validate the fit attributes in the context of performing virtual shopping task via those three distinctive media technologies. Furthermore, through ANOVA test with Duncan statistics, we reported comparative intensity of the valid fit attributes across the product categories and distinct media technologies. The results validated four critical fit attributes and significant distinctions among product categories and three virtual shopping channels. The findings provide practical insights in distribution channel design exploiting digital convergence technologies.

A Study on the Effect of Characteristics of Shopping Mall on Revisit -Focusing on the difference in online platform form- (온라인 쇼핑몰의 특성이 소비자 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향 -온라인 플랫폼 형태 차이를 중심으로-)

  • The development of modern industry is changing the consumption pattern of consumers. With the advent of COVID-19, consumers' consumption using online e-commerce has begun to become more active. Online shopping malls where e-commerce takes place have four types of platforms: stand-alone, rental, open market and store farm. Among them, by comparing the stand-alone and store farm types, this study was conducted how the platform type affects consumers' purpose of using the online shopping mall and their intention to revisit the online shopping mall. This study analyzed 202 surveys within the last six months. According to the results of the study, reliability and information had a significant impact on psychological benefits. In addition, promotion and convenience have had a significant impact on economic benefits. The psychological and economic benefits, have been found to have a significant impact on the intention of revisit. However, there is no difference depending on the platform type.
