임신중독증

  • 임신중독증에 대한 원인은 아직 확실히 밝혀지지 않았다. 유전적∙인종적인 요인이 많이 작용한다는 설도 있고 칼슘이 부족하여 일어난다는 설도 있다. 또는 태반 조직에 대한 면역 작용 때문이라는 설도 있다. 근본적인 원인이 무엇이든 결과적으로 임신중독증이 생기는 의학적 이유는 혈관 수축으로 인한 것으로 말초혈관 수축에 의해 고혈압이 발생하고 신장혈관 수축에 의한 신장 손상으로 단백뇨가 생기고 이차적으로 그것이 원인이 되어 부종이 생기는 것이다. 임신중독증에 대한 원인은 아직 확실히 밝혀지지 않았다. 유전적∙인종적인 요인이 많이 작용한다는 설도 있고 칼슘이 부족하여 일어난다는 설도 있다. 또는 태반 조직에 대한 면역 작용 때문이라는 설도 있다. 근본적인 원인이 무엇이든 결과적으로 임신중독증이 생기는 의학적 이유는 혈관 수축으로 인한 것으로 말초혈관 수축에 의해 고혈압이 발생하고 신장혈관 수축에 의한 신장 손상으로 단백뇨가 생기고 이차적으로 그것이 원인이 되어 부종이 생기는 것이다.

  • 1994년 11월에 나타난 고리 1호기 증기발생기의 전열관 누설에 대한 원인 조사결과, 손상원인은 2차측 응력부식균열(ODSCC)로 밝혀졌으므로, 이에 따른 단기적인 손상완화대책으로 (1) TiO$_2$와 보론산을 첨가한 틈새 세정, (2) TiO$_2$를 첨가한 하이드라진 담금, (3) $Na^{+}$/Cl$^{-}$ 몰비 조절, (4) 용존산소 제거, (5) T$_{HOT}$ 감소 등을 선정하였다. 이와 같은 완화 대책을 적용한 경우의 ODSCC 손상진전율을 확률론적으로 분석한 결과, 증기발생기교체(1998년 예정) 이전까지 전열관 누설에 의한 운전정지 가능성은 매우 낮게 나타났다.

Damage-Spread Analysis of Heterogeneous Damage with Crack Degradation Model of Deck in RC Slab Bridges (RC 슬래브교의 바닥판 균열 열화모델에 따른 이종손상 확산 분석)

  • RC Slab bridges in Korea account for more than 70% of the total bridges for more than 20 years of service. As the number of aging structures increases, the importance of safety diagnosis and maintenance of structures increases. For highway bridges, cracks are a main cause of deck deterioration, which is very closely related to the decrease in bridge durability and service life. In addition, the damage rate of expansion joints and bearings accounts for approximately 73% higher than that of major members. Therefore, this study defined damage scenarios combined with devices damages and deck deterioration. The stress distribution and maximum stress on the deck were then evaluated using design vehicle load and daily temperature gradient for single and combined damage scenarios. Furthermore, this study performed damage-spread analysis and predicted condition ratings according to a deck deterioration model generated from the inspection and diagnosis history data of cracks. The heterogeneous damages combined with the member damages of expansion joints and bearings increased the rate of crack area and damage spread, which accelerated the time to reach the condition rating of C. Therefore, damage to bridge members requires proper and prompt repair and replacement, and otherwise it can cause the damage to bridge deck and the spread of the damage.

  • Many people in these days participate in running as leisure due to urbanization and socio-economic development. Running is a simple exercise but it can induce its own specific injury pattern because of its repetitive motion. Most runners' injury is caused by chronic overuse syndrome rather than acute trauma. And common accompanying injury in running are anterior knee pain syndrome, Iliotibial band syndrome, stress fracture, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, posterior tibial tendon syndrome. Most common area of runners' injury is knee joint. Therefore the authors reviewed the recent literatures and described the classification, etiology, prevention, rehabilitation in this article.

  • Frequency analysis of city gas pipeline was studied and then the method to give frequencies of failure by the third-party digging, corrosion, ground movement, and equipment failure which were known to be the major cause of risk of city gas pipeline. The failure by the third-party digging was analyzed by fault tree analysis and the failure by corrosion was analyzed by applying equation calculating remaining strength with time. The failure by ground movement was evaluated by applying modified model which was induced through weighing factors with basic failure rate model.   • The engine room of ship is a synthetic system being composed of many machineries. Therefore, the reliability and safety of the all system of machinery is as important as each machine. In this paper, in order to reudce engine troubles while operation and to contribute in developing a high reliable marine engine the author analysed the factors of marine engine troubles by principal com-ponent analysis method. Analysed data are marine engine troubles of sea casualties from 1980 to 1985. It is found that the major part of marine engine troubles resulted from personal mistake, and also the troubles of shaft, propeller and cylinder occupied considerable proportion.

  • 한전에서 운영중인 요르단 알카트라나발전소에서 발전기 고정자권선 전계완화 절연물의 손상되었다. Overlap 부위의 정비를 수행한 결과를 분석하였고, 손상원인을 규명하여 불시정지로 인한 손실을 최소화하기 위한 단기대책과 장기적인 대책을 제시하였다.
