Design and DSP-based Implementation of Robust Nonlinear Speed Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (영구자석 동기전동기의 강인 비선형 속도제어기의 설계 및 DSP에 기반한 구현)

  • A design and DSP-based implementation of robust nonlinear speed control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) under the unknown parameter variations and speed measurement error is presented. The model reference adaptive system(MRAS) based adaptation mechanisms for the estimation of slowly varying parameters are derived using the MIT rule. For the disturbances or quickly varying parameters, a quasilinearized and decoupled model which includes the influence of parameter variations and speed measurement error on the nonlinear speed control of a PMSM is derived. Based on this model, a boundary layer integral sliding mode controller to improve the robustness and performance of the nonlinear speed control of a PMSM is designed and compared with the conventional controller which employs Proportional plus Derivative(PD) control. To show the validity of the proposed scheme, simulations and DSP-based experimental works are carried out and compared with the conventional control scheme.

  • 풍력발전기에 있어서 블레이드의 Yaw방향 제어는 끊임없이 변화하는 풍향에 대해 효율의 극대화와 블레이드의 강도 및 진동측면에서 대단히 중요하다. 기존의 블레이드 Yaw 방향 측정은 접촉 및 비접촉 센서가 이용되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 풍력발전기의 원격모니터링 시스템에서 기본적으로 설치되는 카메라를 이용하여 블레이드의 Yaw방향을 측정하는 방법을 제안한다. 블레이드가 풍향에 따라 회전할 때 영상 누적을 행하고, 누적영상에 대해 경계점을 추정하여 타원의 궤적을 추정한다. 추정된 경계점들을 이용하고 최소자승법을 적용하여 타원방정식을 추정하고, 장축과 단축을 연산한다. 장축과 단축의 변화를 이용하여 카메라의 촬영방향의 기준점으로부터 Yaw방향의 변화를 정량적인 값으로 산출하여 이를 바탕으로 Yaw회전각을 추정한다. Yaw 방향 추정의 검증을 위해 블레이드 속도와 Yaw 방향의 제어가 가능한 모형풍력발전기를 제작하고 실험을 통하여 제안한 추정알고리즘의 유효성을 검증한다.

  • 궤도형 차량의 이동구조는 에너지 소비 측면에서 단점이 있지만 접지압의 감소로 인한 평지 및 야지험지에서도 원활한 주행이 가능한 장점으로 인해 농업분야의 플랫폼에서 많이 사용된다. 곡식을 베는 일과 탈곡하는 일을 한 번에 하는 콤바인도 이러한 무한궤도형 이동구조를 사용한다. 또한 궤도형 차량의 방향전환 및 주행속도 변환은 좌 우 궤도의 회전 속도를 다르게 하여 동시에 제어하기 때문에 정교한 주행 성능을 위해서는 궤도형 차량의 기구학 모델을 고려한 경로 계획이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 직교형 포장에서 Round harvesting 기법 기반으로 궤도형 차량의 기구학 모델 및 포장정보를 고려한 자율주행 콤바인 경로계획 알고리즘을 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 Labview 기반의 궤도형 차량 시뮬레이션을 구축하여 실제 포장정보를 이용해 생성 된 경로의 적용 가능성을 구명하고자 하였다. 자율주행 콤바인 경로 계획은 콤바인의 길이, 너비, 회전 시 좌 우 궤도의 속도 비, 직진 속도와 회전 속도 비, 회전 각도, 포장의 외부 경계선, 작업 겹침 량, 회경 횟수를 이용하여 좌현 새머리 선회를 포함한 내부 왕복작업 경로를 생성하며 외부 회경 횟수는 2~3회를 가정하였다. 자율주행 시뮬레이션은 차체와 궤도 자체의 미끄러짐과 작동기 지연시간을 단순화 한 궤도형 기구학 모델형태로 구성하였다. 추종 알고리즘은 선견 거리법을 사용하였으며, 측면 변이값과 방향 오차의 선형조합을 이용하여 조향변수를 정의하고 퍼지로직기반으로 좌 우 궤도 속도를 7 단계화하여 조향장치를 모델링하였다. 실험결과 개발 된 경로생성 알고리즘은 실제 취득 된 포장 외부 경계 GPS 위 경도를 이용해 자동으로 생성이 가능하며 간략화 된 콤바인 시뮬레이션에서 직진주행 RMS 위치 오차는 0.05 m, 선회구간에서 직진 구간 진입 시 RMS 위치 오차는 0.11 m, 직진 구간 RMSE 방향 오차는 3.2 deg로 콤바인 예취부 간격인 30 cm보다 작은 위치 오차를 보이며 생성된 경로 전체 추종이 가능함을 나타내었다.

  • Due to the friction characteristics of cylinders and the rail of a passenger car, in the elevator actuated with hydraulic systems, there exist dead zones, which can not be controlled by a PID controller. To overcome the drawbacks, in this paper, we first try a hybrid controller which switches between a fuzzy logic controller and a PID controller. However, because the hybrid control scheme uses only a single type controller, except the switched layer, the high control performance can not be achieved. To solve this problem, we propose a new type fuzzy hybrid control scheme, which outputs of the output mixer arc controlled by a fuzzy logic. The hydraulic elevator system controlled by inverters has more then one switched layers due to the highly nonlinear characteristics. The proposed fuzzy hybrid control scheme achieves improved control performances by using both controllers with weighted outputs depend on the system status, to achieve improved control performances. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme arc shown by simulation results, which the proposed fuzzy hybrid control method yields good control performance not only in the zero crossing speed region but also in the overall control region including steady-state region.

  • Continuous sliding mode control is applied to turning process for cutting force regulation. The highest feedrate compatible with the allowable cutting force is applied in rough cutting process such that maximum productivity is ensured and tool breakage is avoided. The programmed feedrate is overridden after the control algorithm is carried out. However, most CNC lathe manufacturers offer limited number of data bits far feedrate override, thus resulting in nonlinear behavior of the machine tools. Such nonlinearity brings “quantized” effect, and the optimal faedrate is rounded off before being fed into the CNC system. To compensate for this problem, continuous sliding mode control is applied. Conventional switching control law at a sliding surface is replaced by a smooth control interpolation in a selected boundary layer to avoid the excitation of high-frequency dynamics. Simulation results are presented in comparison with those obtained by applying adaptive control.

  • This paper proposes a frequency transfer function synthesis of a later compensated PID controller for an approximated low order model. The proposed method identifies the parameter vector of PID controller from a linear system that is formed by rearranging a loop frequency transfer function synthesis including the filter compensated PID controller obtained from the given frequency response bounds. And an example for the turbine speed control system of Chungju hydropower plant is given to illustrate the feasibilities of suggested schemes.

  • Robust control for DC motor is needed according to the highest precision of industrial automation. However, when a motor control system with PID contoller has an effect of load disturbance, it is very difficult to guarantee the robustness of control system. In this paper, PID-supervision hybrid control methods for motor control system (without the supervisory controller) is stable in the sense that the error is inside the constraint set, the supervisory control is idle. If the error hits the boundary of the constraint, the supervisory controller beings operation to force the error back to the constraint set. We prove that the PID-supervision hybrid control system is globally stable in the sense that the error is guaranteed to be within the tolerance limits specified by the system designer.

Design of Acoustic Source Array Using the Concept of Holography Based on the Inverse Boundary Element Method (역 경계요소법에 기초한 음향 홀로그래피 개념에 따른 음원 어레이 설계)

  • It is very difficult to form a desired complex sound field at a designated region precisely as an application of acoustic arrays, which is one of important objects of array systems. To solve the problem, a filter design method was suggested, which employed the concept of an inverse method using the acoustical holography based on the boundary element method. In the acoustical holography used for the source identification, the measured field data are employed to reconstruct the vibro-acoustic parameters on the source surface. In the analogous problem of source array design, the desired field data at some specific points in the sound field was set as constraints and the volume velocity at the surface points of the source plane became the source signal to satisfy the desired sound field. In the filter design, the constraints for the desired sound field are set, first. The array source and given space are modelled by the boundary elements. Then, the desired source parameters are inversely calculated in a way similar to the holographic source identification method. As a test example, a target field comprised of a quiet region and a plane wave propagation region was simultaneously realized by using the array with 16 loudspeakers.

Decreasement of Partial Cavitation with Electro-Magnetic Accelerator (전자력 가속에 의한 부분 케비데이션 감소화 연구)

  • The author suggested control method of partial cavitation with electro-magnetic accelerator and showed that the cavity shape decreased with this suggestion which compared with the theoretical ones. Using the cavity flow method proposed by the author in this paper, it is predicted that cavitation volume of the shape is less than the previous type one. Comparisons were performed in order to verify these facts, using both shape which calculated by the method. It was found that the difference of cavitation performance between the two shape of volume were decreased, because of the new method accelerated of flow more than previous theoretical ones.
