  • Recently, hardware, software, and content related to virtual reality (VR) have been increasing. In this paper, we design an application that enables users to experience various sightseeing spots without having to go directly by utilizing the characteristics of making virtual reality such as space, deep sea, etc. Conventionally, two-dimensional images and video were used to acquire and experience information about tourist attractions, but this application enables a realistic experience through three-dimensional images and video.

  • 디지털 컨텐츠의 저작권 보호와 위변조 탐지를 위해 사용되는 비가시적인 워터마킹 기법은 워터마킹된 영상의 화질저하를 최소로 하면서 화질이 현격히 저하되기 전에는 워터마크가 제거되지 않는 견고성을 갖도록 해야한다. 본 논문에서는 워커마킹된 영상에서 원영상을 사용하지 않고 저작권자를 탐지할 수 있는 디지털 워터마킹 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 크게 내장단계와 탐지단계로 나뉜다. 내장단계에서는 워터마킹된 영상의 화질이 크게 저하되지 않도록 시각적 마스킹 효과를 고려한다. 워터마크 탐지과정은 원 영상을 사용하지 않고 저작권 분쟁이 발생한 영상과 저작권 주장하는 사람이 제시한 해당 워터마크만을 사용하여 이루어진다. 본 논문에서 제안된 디지털 워터마킹 방법은 일반적인 영상의 변형에 상당히 견고한 특성을 가지며, 변형이 가해지지 않은 워터마킹된 영상을 저작자가 보관함으로써 다중 소유권 주장 문제에 대해서도 저작권 주장이 가능하다.

  • 정보화 물결과 더불어 산업 및 사회 전반에 걸쳐 정보의 중요성은 나날이 증가하고 있다. 특히 인터넷을 기반으로 한 정보 교환과 통신 서비스들이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 신뢰성 있는 정보 교환을 위해서 정보 보호 메카니즘은 필수적이다. 많은 암호 알고리즘들이 소프트웨어 방식으로 구현되어 왔는데, 암호화 속도나 해킹에 대한 취약성이 문제되고 있다. 고속의 암호화와 보다 안전한 정보의 관리를 위해서는 암호 알고리즘의 하드웨어 구현이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 AES의 후보 암호 알고리즘으로 채택되었으며, 우수한 암호 알고리즘으로 평가받고 있는 RC6를 하드웨어로 구현해 보았다.

  • When the graphics accelerator for high-quality multimedia content design, hardware verification environment, easy and accurate performance evaluation in an embedded device is required. To work around this is not verified through the simulation waveform analysis to determine the actual calculated graphic images has designed a software rasterizer. Rasterizer is designed for Windows-based environment using the C language implementation of rasterization has a function at each step. Vertex data is entered and the results were verified.

  • 기존의 Mobile 환경과 다르게 Smart Phone 의 어플리케이션은 사용자 누구에게나 쉽고 빠르게 제공이 될 수 있다. 이런 Smart Phone 의 취지에 맞추어 보았을 때 여러 사람에게 누구나 제공 될 수 있는 강의 제공 방식의 필요성이 대두 된다 할 수 있다. 어떤 특정 사용자를 대상으로 하기 보다는 여러 사람들에게 양질의 contents 를 제공 할 수 있도록 하기 위함이다. 이를 위하여, OCW(Open Course Ware)의 contents 를 Smart Phone 에서 제공하는 SNOWmini 라 명칭한 모바일 개방형 강의 컨텐츠 제공 웅용 소프트웨어를 제시한다.

Humanoid Robot Performance System for Performing in Public Places (공공장소에서 공연을 위한 휴머노이드 로봇 공연 시스템)

  • This paper proposes a humanoid robot performance system for performing in public places, such as an event, exhibition, or street performance. The system of modular structures can be moved easily, and can be played by a module or a combination of modules. The system developed with open source-based software and hardware is easy to adapt and improve. The robot performance control program for controlling robots, displays, audios, videos, and performance instruments was developed using the open source language, Processing. The performance instruments were developed using the open source hardware, Arduino. The contents of the robot performance were composed of scene-specific image, background audio, computer graphics, and videos. For their control and synchronization, the performance control program communicates with the humanoid robots and the performance instruments. In addition, performance accessories required to represent the performance concepts are produced by 3D modeling and printing. In a public place, the robot performance is performed with the theme of celebrating a Halloween day.

  • A blog is a website, usually maintained by an individual, with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. Blog search engines, like web search engines, seek information for searchers on blogs. Blog search engines sometimes output unsatisfactory results, mainly due to spam blogs or splogs. Splogs are blogs hosting spam posts, plagiarized or auto-generated contents for the sole purpose of hosting advertizements or raising the search rankings of target sites. This thesis focuses on splog detection. This thesis proposes a new splog detection method, which is based on blog post structure similarity and posting count per day. Experiments based on methods proposed a day show excellent result on splog detection tasks with over 90% accuracy.

  • Interactive broadcasting service using wired/wireless Internet return channel has strong ripple effect. It allows the audiences to participate actively to the program they are watching, and communicating. This paper develops an authoring tool that makes an object-formed interactive advertisement from extracted areas of the advertising object the user specified in TV programs. In the authoring tool, the advertisement producer specifies the target object subjectively and the selected object keeps moving here and there repeatedly. Therefore, it is hard to make an object-formed interactive advertisement with existing tools. This paper suggests sketch-based interface technique for extracting advertising objects, and also provide evaluation functions to correct any sketch error. This paper also converts the area of object into MPEG-4 BIFS codes for authoring the object-formed interactive advertisement.

  • Android that was made by Google and Open Handset Alliance is the open source software toolkit for mobile phone. Nowadays, Smart phone users have been rapidly increasing, by that reason a lot of application contents have been released and especially contents which focus on user convenience have been developed. In this paper, we develop a new application content smart alarm based on Google Android flatform. The features of the developed content are as follows. First, users set their day's schedules. So they can notify easily what they have to do at the moment. Second, when users set their alarms not to forget several sequential tasks, they can set their schedules by not only alarm method but also timer method. In the performance evaluation, we show the results of simulation using AVD(Android Virture Device).

Web-Based 3D Model Management System for Virtual Training Contents Production (가상훈련 컨텐츠 제작을 위한 웹 기반 3D 모델 관리 시스템)

  • Recently, the growth of the computer-related industries lead to the growth of the computer-aided education. Virtual training (VT) is one of the most interesting education methods. Many 3D models for the VT contents have been produced, but little research has been performed for the unified management system to promote the reuse of 3D models. This paper proposes the unified 3D model management system. The 3D model file formats are surveyed to find a format that can be easily used by many VT content production softwares. The 3D model files will be stored in a central DB server. The structure of the DB system will be designed for 3D models. The system provides an easy way to search and download a 3D model. With the proposed system, the reuse of 3D models is expected to be promoted.
