  • 본 연구는 삶의 질의 문제가 지리교육 분야에서는 어떻게 제기될수 있는지를 살펴보고, 지리교육 활동에 참여하고 있는 사람들의 삶의 질을 높이기 위해서 수행되어야 할 과제는 무엇인지를 밝힌 것이다. 지리교육분야에서 제기되는 삶의 문제란 배우고 가르치는 활동의 질과 밀접히 관련되는데, 지리를 가르치고 배우는 과정에서 투입되고 활용되는 다양한 소프트웨어와 하드웨어의 질적 개선이 없이는 지리교육 분야에서의 삶의 질을 고양되기 힘들다는 것이다. 교재와 학습 프로그램과 수업운영방법에 있어서의 질적 발전을 도모하기 위해서는 지리교육의 목표 명료화, 지리교육과정의 계열적 조직방안 개발, 지리교육의 개념과 내용체계 표준화, 자료에 근거한 사고력 기르기 학습프로그램의 개발 등의 연구가 앞으로 체계적으로 이루어져야 할 필요성이 있음을 논의하였다.

A Qualitative Research on Influential Factors of Software Education based Flipped Learning on Elementary Students' Interest and Computational Thinking (플립드 러닝 기반 소프트웨어 교육에서 초등학생의 흥미도와 컴퓨팅 사고력에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 질적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to propose an effective teaching and learning model by investigating the influencing factors of elementary school students' interest and computational thinking in software education based on flipped learning. To accomplish the purpose of the study, we developed a software education program based on flipped learning for elementary school students and applied qualitative research based on the interviews with the students and outputs from the learning process. The results of this study, First, factors affecting interest in the elementary school students' software education based on flipped learning were 'the expectation of class', 'authentic task', 'the accomplishment of task' and 'interaction with peers'. Second, the factor of enhancing computational thinking was 'the accomplishment of task', 'interaction with peers', and 'the teacher's meaningful feedback'.

  • The researches on the concept of justice and utilization for Computational Thinking with SW education are being actively discussed. However, a program has developed in conjunction with the actual elementary curriculum is not much. In this study, we have developed an educational program in applied mathematics based on CT. First, a separated view for a CT Application of mathematical concepts and objectives are set in three different application models. In order to achieve the CT-based math lessons, we also have developed a teaching and learning materials. We applied the developed materials in class, and to evaluate the satisfaction of learners. In addition to the validation of school application, we conducted a survey of professionals and teachers. The results of the analysis, the data showed that are helpful in the development of the student' CT ability as well as the ability to be helpful teaching and learning in school.

  • The development of information technology in a software-centered society as of today is a very important, and the training of software utilizing robots has become popular in recent years. This study proposes efficient SW convergence education by providing curriculum and contents for science + SW convergence education in conjunction with instruction block coding program. It also complements the limitations of existing unstructured chemistry experiment teaching aid, We have developed a 'chemical experiment paradigm' that integrates software education that can be linked with other classes.

  • Recently, various platforms and contents for artificial intelligence education have been developed, but artificial intelligence education programs for the lower grades of elementary school are insufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop an artificial intelligence education program for learners in the lower grades of elementary school. It was designed using the Novel Engineering, and its validity was verified by expert validation. It was necessary to construct a program based on spoken language rather than written language in consideration of the level of learners in the lower grades in the process of acquiring Hangeul, and to secure the number of educational hours through integration between subjects. There have been various research cases of software education with Novel Engineering, and its effectiveness has been verified. Artificial intelligence education is also expected to be applied in the school field through Novel Engineering.

Development of Fine Dust Robot Unplugged Education Program (미세먼지 로봇을 주제로 한 언플러그드 교육 프로그램의 개발)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop an unplugged education program that develops the 4C (Creativity, Critical thinking, Communication ability, Collaboration) and CT (Computational Thinking) competencies required in modern society. This study discovered "Fine Dust Robot" as a theme suitable for the unplugged education program, and designed the Unplugged 4-hour education program which can develop 4C and CT competencies. The first stage motivates learning, and the second and third stages develop unplugged activity to develop CT. In the fourth stage, the algorithms created through unplugged activities were programmed through the natural language instruction card and produced the output. We developed educational materials that can be utilized in the unplugged education program. Finally, education programs were conducted for elementary school students, and pre- and post-tests of computational thinking were conducted for general students and gifted students. Educational effective was found in both groups.

  • Rapid changes in modern society after the COVID-19 have highlighted artificial intelligence talent as a major influencing factor in determining national competitiveness. Accordingly, the Ministry of Education planned a large-scale SW·AI camp education project to develop the digital capabilities of 4th to 6th grade elementary school students and middle and high school students who are in a vacuum in artificial intelligence education. Therefore, this study aims to develop a camp-type SW·AI education program for students in grades 4-6 of elementary school so that students in grades 4-6 of elementary school can acquire basic knowledge in artificial intelligence. For this, the meaning of SW·AI education in elementary school is defined and SW·AI contents to be dealt with in elementary school are: understanding of SW AI, 'principle and application of SW AI', and 'social impact of SW AI' was set. In addition, an attempt was made to link the set elements of elementary school SW AI education and learning with related subjects and units of textbooks currently used in elementary schools. As for the program used for education, entry, a software coding learning tool based on block coding, is designed to strengthen software programming basic competency, and all programs are designed to be operated centered on experience and experience-oriented participants in consideration of the developmental characteristics of elementary school students. In order for SW·AI education to be organized and operated as a member of the regular curriculum, it is suggested that research based on the analysis of regular curriculum contents and in-depth analysis of SW·AI education contents is necessary.

  • 2011년 정부가 발표한 스마트 교육 추진 전략으로 인해 기존 전자칠판시스템의 활용도가 더 높아질 것으로 전망된다. 한편, 기존의 전자칠판시스템에서 자체적으로 제공하는 판서 소프트웨어들은 다양한 기능들을 제공하지만 실제 활용 빈도는 매우 낮으며 사용 방법이 복잡하기 때문에 사용자 관점에서 직관적인 인터페이스와 사용 방법이 복잡하지 않은 판서 소프트웨어가 더 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 현재 많은 관심을 끌고 있는 스마트 교육 환경에서 모든 강사들이 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 전자칠판시스템용 판서 프로그램을 개발하였다.
