This study discusses on the social communication phenomenon on online social media by comparative analysis among bridging and bonding social capital. It examined the social media usage, social communication recognition, social communication satisfaction and intent social participation by exploring social capital which are the main influential factors of online social media. The online survey was conducted on 500 adults over the age of 20. As a result, in a quantitative respect a high rate of online media usage was observed all social capital. On the other hand, in a qualitative aspects 'understand' and 'trust' was came out in the bonding capital, but 'agreement' was not observed in all social capital. Also the influential factors of intent social participation were different in the social capital. The bonding was affected by 'understanding' but the bridging was affected by 'trust' and 'agreement'. Therefore, it was able to discuss that the understanding of online social media user and social communication characteristic must be preceded and the activator policy of social communication must consider the different features of online social capital.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of case-based SBAR communication training program on critical thinking ability, communication self-efficacy and communication competence of nursing students. 112 sophomore students majoring in nursing were recruited from one university located in D city, and the data collection commenced on 18 December 2017 and was completed on 4 January 2018. The case-based SBAR communication training program consisted of pre-education, a pre-survey, a three-section program, and a post-survey. A one-group pretest-posttest design was used to collect the data, and frequency and paired t-test were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 program. The rate of satisfaction for interpersonal relationship was 75.0% and satisfaction rate for improvement on their major was 54.5%. Compared with before the program, critical thinking ability and communication competence were significantly improved after completion of the case-based SBAR communication training program (t=-4.237, p<.001; t=-2.734, p=.007). Communication self-efficacy was also improved after the case-based SBAR communication training program, but the difference was not significant. In conclusion, the case-based SBAR communication training program improved critical thinking ability and communication competence.

Sexual satisfaction depends a lot of various factors. The study was conducted to understand middle-aged women's sexual function, sexual communication, and sexual satisfaction and to determine factors influencing sexual satisfaction. As a descriptive correlation study, data was collected during Oct. in 2012 to Jan. in 2013 from 126 middle-aged women in Korea. Sexual function, sexual communication, and sexual satisfaction were averaged 25.02 (range of score 2~36), 3.12 (out of 5), and 2.36 (out of 4), respectively. Sexual satisfaction had a positive correlation with sexual function and sexual communication. Sexual function, sexual communication, and last formal education were influencing factors on sexual satisfaction. Sexual satisfaction of middle-aged women was considered their physical and psychological aspects. Nurses should become aware of the wider consideration that need to be made in relation to the general and sexual quality of life when caring for middle-aged women.

In this study, I tried to find out the effect of the daily living factors(social support, economical status, health condition, leisure activity, communication, consumption activity) on the element life satisfaction(self-respect, personal relations, emotional condition, physical health, consume activity) of life for the aged. For the study, I collected 280 samples from people of 60 year-old adults who reside of in Gyeonggi-do. I used factor analysis, reliability analysis, multi-regression, t-test, ANOVA with SPSS 18.0. The results are as follows. First, satisfaction about aged population sociological character level of significance were difference in factors except gender, statistically. Second, daily living factors and element satisfaction between analysis positive relation. Third, Aged of daily living factors effect to element satisfaction, social support and leisure activity effect to self-respect, are social support, health condition, leisure activity effect to personal relations and physical health satisfaction. and communication effect to Emotional condition and economical status, communication and consume activity effect to economical living satisfaction.

This study aimed at identifying the relationship between marital satisfaction and marital stability, with primary focus on the effect of double sexual standards on their relationship. Data from 370 married women of community and culture centers in Daegu Metropolitan area were analyzed through multi-step multiple regressions. Findings indicated that communication and intimacy were positively related to marital satisfaction, which showed strong effect on marital stability, and that double sexual standard weakened the relationship between marital satisfaction and stability. Relationship between sexual satisfaction and marital satisfaction were not statistically significant in the sample of married women. Construction of comprehensive and systemic theoretical model on marital stability was suggested for further study.

This study is a descriptive research study to understand the level of communication awareness between doctors and nurses, who are professional medical professionals, and the detailed areas and satisfaction of communication. Data were collected from 372 doctors and nurses at general hospitals located in C city from March to May 2021. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, mean and standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, and correlation analysis, using the SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. As a result, there was a difference in the awareness level of communication between doctor and nurse groups. Specifically, out of the detailed areas of communication recognized by doctors and nurses, there were statistically significant differences in openness(t=9.91), mutual understanding between occupations(t=5.25), and satisfaction(t=8.13) between the two groups. In addition, a positive correlation was found between the detailed areas and the communication satisfaction in both groups, showing that nurses have higher communication satisfaction with the higher openness(r=.72, p<.001), mutual understanding between occupations(r=.71, p<.001) and similarly, doctors also have higher communication satisfaction with the higher mutual understanding between occupations(r=.79, p<.001), timeliness(r=.73, p<.001). Therefore, these result suggest that it is necessary to develop a communication program that can effectively improve the weak areas such as mutual understanding between occupations and openness in nurses and doctors in order to ensure patient safety and provide quality medical care.

This study analyzed the differences of the sex-role attitude, communication, and marital satisfaction according to a demographic factors as well as analyzed the relationship of the effects on sex-role attitude(sex-role awareness, sex-capacity awareness), communication(close relationship, exclusive relationship, passive relationship), and marital satisfaction of elderly couples. The survey was conducted from June 20 to July 30, 2012 among the elderly couples aged 60 or older in the Gyeonggi-do areas, and 378 responses were used in the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical regression analysis. As a results, there were partially differences in the sex-role attitude, communication, and marital satisfaction. The sex-role awareness and sex-capacity awareness had a positive impact on close relationship and passive relationship of the communication. But the sex-capacity awareness had a negative impact on exclusive relationship of the communication. In addition, The sex-role awareness and close relationship had a positive impact on marital satisfaction, but exclusive relationship and passive relationship had a negative impact on marital satisfaction of elderly couples.

The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of empathy and communication skill on clinical stress of college students in the convergence society. The participants were 211 college students, data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation, Multiple regression. It was found that: nursing students showed higher clinical stress in case of lower level of school satisfaction, major satisfaction, clinical satisfaction, the difficult of relationship with head nurse, and female student. Significant negative correlation were found between communication skill and clinical stress. The factors influencing clinical stress were clinical satisfaction, communication skill and gender. In order to reduce clinical stress among nursing students, it is needed to find various ways improving communication skills, such as educational courses and intervention, and to figure out associate variables and multilateral research to enhance clinical satisfaction.

This study, investigating the differences of public hospital employees' communication, motivation, mutual trust, working conditions, fair compensation, job satisfaction, is to identify the factors affecting organizational performance. Through this, an alternative is suggested, which can maximize organizational performance of hospital employees. The period was from October 5 to October 31, 2014 to collect the data from 232 subjects working in public hospitals. ANOVA and regression analysis were conducted and the finding shows that communication, motivation, mutual trust, working conditions, fair compensation, job satisfaction have a significant difference (p<0.05) based on job categories. In addition, the factors affecting organizational performance were communication and fair compensation (p<0.001) for nursing job, age and employment type (p<0.05) and fair compensation (p<0.001) for Medical Support, motivation and fair compensation (p<0.001) for administrative job. The efforts to improve human resource management in their organization which is able to inspire a sense of belonging should be followed.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of the communication ability, communication type and satisfaction of nursing service on the re-use intention of nursing and care integration services of the hospital. The research subjects were 291 patients who were hospitalized for more than 3 days in the integrated nursing and care service center. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. As a result of the study, the variables that significantly affect the reuse of integrated nursing services in hospitals were satisfaction with nursing services and integrated services. The explanatory power of these variables was 63.4%. Therefore, to increase the intention to re-use integrated nursing and care services of the hospitals, efforts are needed to increase the satisfaction of nursing services. And research on other variables that affect the guarantee is highly recommended.
