KORMARC format for holdings data is a standard for expressing and exchanging holdings information-who they have, what copies are owned, where they are held, etc. As the need of resource sharing grows, such holdings information that informs the user to the availability and the location of a bibliographic item is becoming increasingly important. However the KORMARC format for holdings data has been used much less than KORMARC for bibliographic and authority data, and has attracted little attention from Korean libraries. Under these circumstances, this study intends (1) to analyze various standards for holdings information including MARC21 format for Holdings data (update No.26) and its applications, (2) to investigate the types of holdings data and description regulations used in Korean libraries and bibliographic utilities, and (3) to suggest the revision of existing KORMARC format for holdings data.

1631년 정두원이 명나라로부터 가져온 네 권의 과학서와 한 편의 보고서 가운데, 치력연기(治曆緣起)라는 책과 서양공헌신위대경소(西洋貢獻神威大鏡疏)가 강화도의 외규장각에 소장되고 있었다. 이 점에 유의하여 강화도 외규장각에 소장되어 있었던 천문학 및 수학 관련 서적을 조사해 보았다. 외규장각 소장 도서의 목록에 해당하는 외규장각형지안(外奎章閣形止案)을 조사하여, 소장 도서의 내역과 소장 상태의 변천을 알아낼 수 있다. 그 결과 서양공헌신위대경소는 1791년 신해박해 때 천주교 서적으로 오인되어 소각되었고, 치력연기는 1866년 병인양요 때 프랑스 해군에 의해 소각되었음을 알 수 있었다. 외규장각에는, Napier의 대수(logarithm)에 관한 아이디어가 반영되어 있는 쟈크 로우(Rho)의 주산(籌算)이란 책이 소장되어 있었고, 조선조 양대 물시계에 관한 보고서인 흠경각영건의궤(欽敬閣營建儀軌)와 보루각중수의궤(報漏閣重修儀軌)가 있었으며, 조선 국왕들이 천문에 관해 작성한 어제 및 어필이 소장되어 있었으며, 천문류초(天文類抄)와 천기대요(天機大要)와 같은 널리 사용되던 천문 및 음양학관련 서적이 소장되어 있었다. 특히, 1866년 프랑스 해군에 의해 약탈되어 현재 프랑스 파리 국가도서관에 소장되어 있는 천상열차분야지도는 숙종석각의 탁본으로 추정된다. 현재 10여 개의 탁본이 국내외에 남아 있으나, 최근 프랑스로부터 반환되게 된 외규장각 도서 내역에 천상열차분야지도가 포함되지 못하였다. 이와 관련하여 약간 토의하고자 한다.

지난 7월 1일 자로 국립축산과학원 가금연구소장에 천동원 전 기술지원과 연구관이 임명되었다. 천동원 소장은 농축산업 경영 경제 전문가로 기술지원과에 근무하면서 양계 관련 업무를 직간접적으로 도움을 주었다. 본고는 천 소장을 만나 향후 가금연구소 운영방안을 들어보았다.

Because of their small size, small bowel malignancies are often easily missed when radiologists read CT images, which can lead to errors in the normal small bowel due to their similar enhancement to the small bowel or non-specific enhancement. In addition, small bowel malignancies are sometimes mistaken for masses of other origins, such as the uterus, rectum, or omentum. In this article, we describe various small-bowel malignancies, their mimicking lesions and the typical and atypical features on CT imaging along with their clinical manifestations.

The morphological and histochemical observation of the lectin binding to intestine in vivo or in vitro was investigated. Our finding demonstrates the validity of semi-quantitative estimates of lectin binding to mouse intestine. The fluorescence patterns obtained after treatment of intestine sections with FITC-conjugated lectin revealed that Kintoki bean lectin (KBL) and Taro tuber lectin (TTL) were localized on the cell membrane, especially the top and upper sites of the villi and showed that KBL was more strongly located than TTL under various conditions. In the reverted intestine of mice fed lectin, the villi were considerably disordered and conspicuously disrupted.

외규장각에 소장되어 있던 도서들은 주로 왕실과 직접적인 관련이 있는 도서들이다. 1866년 병인양요 때 프랑스 해군이 극히 일부를 약탈해 가고 나머지 대부분은 소각하였다. 이때 약탈되어 프랑스 국가도서관에 소장되어 있던 도서들 중 일부가 2011년에 임대 형식을 빌어 반환되었다. 본 연구에서는 약탈 이전에 외규장각에는 어떤 도서가 소장되어 있는지를 알려주는 외규장각 형지안을 분석하여 외규장각에는 어떤 천문학 관련 도서가 소장되어 있었는지를 살펴본다. 특히 1631년 정두원이 한국사 최초로 망원경을 전래할 때 함께 가져 온 서양 천문학 지식이 담긴 서적들의 존재가 확인되며, 숙종본 천상열차분야지도의 초기 탁본이 프랑스 국가도서관에 보관되어 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 외규장각에 소장되어 있던 천문한 관련 도서들의 의의와 반환과 관련한 문제점에 대해서 검토하려 한다.

Project managers' leadership in construction projects significantly influence project performance and outcomes. However, due to its conceptual and quantitative nature, leadership is a subject which is difficult to be evaluated or measured despite of the benefits of its measurement. The objective is this paper to apply the LBDQ technique in evaluating project managers' leadership and discuss outcomes through a pilot test.

Total parenteral nutritional effect was induced by surgical creation of Thiry-Vella fistula(TVFs) in rats. Glutamine, glycine or nucleosides/nucleotide mixture in solution was injected into the loops for 2, 4, 6, 8 days. Control animals received a 0.9％ saline solution. Results include weight gain, total protein, DNA, ［$^3$H］ thymidine incorporation into DNA, morphometry of the intestine in both TVFs and intestine in continuity. Perfusion of nucleosides/nucleotide mixture into the bypassed loops caused an increase in total protein, DNA content, villous height, villous surface area in loops. The injection of glycine into loops caused an increase in ［$^3$H］ thymidine incorporation but the mean values of the protein and DNA contents were not significantly different from those in group Cont and group Nuc. Overall values for group Gln were slightly higher than those of the control but the differences were not statistically significant. This study suggests that this animal model may be useful for studying the effect of dietary factors on intestinal growth and maturation, separating the direct effect of diet from systemic effect on the intestine.

Leadership is a critical factor for success or failure of an organization. Project managers in construction projects are 'field CEO' so their leadership affects performance of the projects. The objectives of this study is to evaluate the leadership of project managers and to analyse its major characteristics. The LBDQ(Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire) technique was used to evaluate and identify types of leadership of project managers from 'heaven' and 'hell'. Relationships between leadership and performance of the projects were also discussed.

This study attempted to analyse the collections of public libraries in terms of their subject distribution and currency. It was expected that the analysis would give public librarians some suggestions as to their collection development policy making. This study team selected 423 Korean public libraries across the country and scrutinized the collections by their classes of Korean Decimal Classification(KDC) and publishing years. The study results indicated that there was some subject disproportion in public library collections. Literature and social sciences were accounting for 54.8% of whole collections. Currency of collections of public libraries could be said relatively excellent. It was found that 64.9% of whole collections had been published after 2000.
