Vibration Source Identification of the Pump (펌프의 과도진동 원인 규명에 관한 연구)

  • 그동안 실험을 통해 측정된 울산화력 BFP 진동 Data의 분석을 통하여 문제 가 되는 과도진동원에 대한 분석이 시도되었다. BFP의 이력과 그간의 측정 자료를 근거로 진동원과 진동에너지의 전달 경로를 가정하였고 각각의 진동 원에 대한 타당성 검토를 위하여 신호처리가 수행되었으며 그 결과로부터 BFP 과도진동 현상에 의해 야기되는 F 베어링 92.5 Hz의 진동에너지는 Voith Coupling의 기어에서 발생되었던 것으로 밝혀졌다. 문제의 해결을 위 해 치차를 대체시켰으며 진동값은 치차가 교환되기 전의 193.$\mu$m이 40.$\mu$m 이하로 줄 수 있었고 따라서 BFP는 안전운행 조건을 만족시키는 동급(Fair Operation)에 들게 됨을 볼 수 있다. BFP로부터 분리된 구동축 Gear는 육안상 크게 균열은 없어 보였으나 특정방향으로 일부 마모가 있어 보였으며 이는 유체와의 회전시 Unbalance에 의한 마모결과로 보여진다. 현 재 6-2 BFP에서 사용되었던 구동측 부품인 기어, Impellar는 치차마모등 비 파괴 정밀조사와 함께 Wet Balancing등의 측정이 진행되고 있다.

  • Impulsive excitation on vehicles produces shock-type vibration on the seat, usually which has major frequencies and damping ratios dependent on the characteristics of the suspension, the tire, the seat cushion and so on. The response of single degree of freedom model to a half-sine force input was considered as simple shock-type vibration signal. The quasi-apparent-mass for fifteen subjects was obtained with the shock-type vibration generated on the rigid seat, so its nonlinearity was found over 6.3 Hz according to the difference of magnitude of the shocks.

  • Transverse flux machine (TFM) has been considered as a promising driving machine especially at the low-speed applications because it has higher power density, torque and efficiency than the conventional electrical motors. However, it has complicated structure, large torque ripple and sometimes unbalanced magnetic force due to its inherent structure. This paper investigates the characteristics of torque ripple and unbalanced magnetic force of a rotatory two-phase TFM due to the teeth geometry by using the 3-dimensional finite element method, and it develops a rotatory two-phase TFM with herringbone teeth to reduce the torque ripple as well as to eliminate the unbalanced magnetic force.

  • 직사각형 평판이 수직방향으로 조화가진력을 받을 때 그 변위가 큰 경우 두 개의 모드 간의 비선형적 상호작용에 대한 연구이다. 폰 칼만 운동방정식에서 유도된 두 개의 상미분 방정식으로부터 수차에 걸친 좌표변환을 거쳐 자유진동의 경우 정지해와 주기해를 구한다. 말굽형태의 분기 현상이 일어날 수 있는 조건을 호모클리닉 또는 헤테로클리닉 궤적의 유무로부터 결정한다. 혼돈 현상의 발생조건을 구하기 위해 멜니코프 방법이 적용되어질 수 있는 형태로 변환하여 광역섭동법의 수학적 결과를 직접적으로 적용할 수 있는 형태로 변환한다.

  • In general, the vertical vibration problems for strength of members and serviceability of building structures are not considered in structural design process, but the prediction of the vertical vibration is very important and essential to structural design process. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of vertical vibration in terms of the transfer of horizontal directions to near-rooms on the shear wall building structures. In order to examine the characteristics of vertical vibration, the modal test and the impact (heel-drop and hammer) excitation experiments were conducted several times on two building structure. The results from the experiments are analyzed and compared with the results. The results of this study suggest that the characteristics of vertical vibration transfer in horizontal way are effected from the fundamental frequency of the slabs, and are effected the shear wall on the Path of the vibration transfer.

  • Dynamic stability of a rotary oscillating cantilever beam is presented in this study. Using the stretch deformation instead of the conventional axial deformation, three linear partial differential equations are derived from Hamilton's principle and transformed into dimensionless forms. Stability diagrams of the first order approximate solutions are obtained by using the multiple scale perturbation method. The stability diagrams show that relatively large unstable regions exist near the combination of the first chordwise bending natural frequency and the first stretch natural frequency. This result is verified by using the generalized-${\alpha}$ method.

  • An analytical method has been developed to estimate the dynamic contact force between wheel and rail when trains are running on rail with vertical irregularities. In this method, the effect of Hertzian deformation at the contact point is considered as a linearized spring and the wheel is considered as an sprung mass. The rail is modelled as a discretely-supported Timoshenko beam, and the periodic structure theory was adopted to obtain the driving-point receptance. As an example, the dynamic contact force for a typical wheel/rail system was analysed by the method developed in this research and the dynamic characteristics of the system was also discussed. It is revealed that discretely-supported Timoshenko beam model should be used instead of the previously used continuously-supported model or discretelysupported Euler beam model, for the frequency range above several hundred hertz.

  • The power flow analysis(PFA) has been performed to analyze the vibration of coupled plates excited by a point force in an arbitrry direction. The energy governing equations for longitudinal, shear and flexural waves were solved to predict the vibrational energy density and intensity. The wave transmission approach was used to consider the mode conversion at the joints of the coupled plates. Numerical results for energy density and intensity on the coupled plates were presented. Comparison of the results by PFA with exact results showed that PFA can be an effective tool to predict the spatial variation of the vibrational energy and intensity on the coupled plates at high frequencies.

  • 하드디스크의 고용량화 추세에 따라 헤드의 정밀한 위치제어를 위한 큰 대역폭의 트랙추적 서보 시스템의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 작은 신호의 마찰을 제거하고 대역폭을 높이는 방법 중 하나인 2단구동기 트랙추적제어를 실시하여 큰 대역폭의 트랙 추적 서보시스템을 구성하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 2단구동기는 조동구동기(기존 하드디스크의 VCM)와 전단형 압전체를 부착한 미동구동기로 구성하였다. 미동구동기의 Hinge구조는 트랙 방향의 공진 주파수와 출력변위를 만족시키기 위한 구조로 설계하였다. 제어기는 notch filter와 PI 보상기를 사용하는 조동구동기와 notch filter와 PD 보상기를 사용하는 미동구동기를 다양한 구조로 구성한 것들을 비교하였다. 2단구동기는 VCM만을 사용하여 트랙 추적을 할 때보다 트랙 편심을 잘 추적하며, 기계적 공진과 VCM의 비선형성에 의해 제한된 대역폭을 개선시키는 효율적인 방법임을 확인하였다.
