In this study, there is main purpose to provide useful data in order to use the Hangul as a design factor. Also, there are two subordinate goals. First, to analyze standards as people estimate Hangul characters. Second, to understand people's preferences about Hangul characters and then, to catch formal features about that characters. In first result, It is known that people estimate Hangul characters based on four standards. They are neat, soft, cyber and plain standards. As second consequence, preferential Hangul characters have pretty, intimate, refined, soil, elaborate, forthright, tidy image. And they are square shape as a whole, less decorative, round edge style.

At present the educational envelopment of our country was placed in the difficult situation that cannot help but coping with the situation positively and actively against a lot of change and the crisis inside and outside. By employing the UI(university Identity) or CI(College Identity) for the communication method to overcome the above present situation and to take a triangular position again, those are recognized that making an effort to amend or re-generate the present images is important in the management of college. But UI or CI are upright and have strong feeling on the specific character of college which is called as educational organization. And in its application, it shows weak point that cannot scope softly against the changing current of times by lack of adaptability. By congesting the restriction of conveyance of image and upright nature of such operation, and also by developing the Image Mark that can convey variety, affection and polished feeling, and further by conveying the future-oriented images aimed by college to the educational consumers closely and softly, it is to take the roils faithfully for the strengthening of competitive power of college. In addition, in order to convey college image softly and effectively and also utilize as a means of positive propaganda, character was developed together.

What find the motive of new design from Korean traditional cultural inheritance and symbolize it visually is to create a new design of Korean style into the harmony of shape and aesthetics by harmonizing past design and modern one, to discover the value of the future, and to make a new traditional culture. This study is to find the motive of design from Korean traditional pattern and character of the twelve horary signs, to develop unique Korean style character by studying character to cause novel and refined sense and interest through the mix of traditional image and modern one, and to propose a plan to apply in various and practice the Korean style character to modern design. In addition, the purpose of this study is to discover the identity of Korean style from foreign culture by presenting identity and originality with our peculiar cultural elements as well as to develop the visual effect and character of traditional pattern, and to have national competitiveness with Korean style design from the world market of the future.

Cultural tourism product that has its theme of Taekwondo which is the representative traditional martial arts of Korea possessing over 50 million people doing Taekwondo worldwide has high marketability and usefulness. By this, the researcher is trying to implement design development expecting transition to new perception on the cultural product by qualitative growth of productivity quality, popularization of crafted products, comsumer oriented product development by deciding cultural product production fit for Taekwondo concept based on the participation of tourism activity of Taekwondo institute by visitors and tourists of Taekwondo institute. Firstly, storybook containing spirit and story of Taekwondo, secondly general rack for pencils or candles, thirdly mini memo in universal price which is practical and sophisticated. With the perception of necessity and possibility to use Taekwondo-related cultural tourist product, by aggressively using the product as the souvenir of Muju Taekwondo institute to promote Taekwondo, we hope that the product will help to create value, which differs from existing cultural tourist products.

To obtain quality germinated brown rices containing high levels of ${\gamma}$-aminobutyric acid (GABA), chitosan was applied during the brown rice germination. The GABA contents in germinated brown rices (1,035 nmole/g fresh weight) and brown rices germinated by water (771 nmole/g fresh weight) or by lactiv acid (728 nmole/g fresh weight). In addition to the enhancement of GABA, germination in the chitosan solution increased alanine concentration and decreased glutamic acid, aspartic acid and serine concentrations in the brown rices. The activity of glutamate decarboxylase was also enhanced by the chitosan treatment. Furthermore, germination by chitosan reduced fungal contamination markdely, compared with germination by water or germination by lactic acid. These results suggest that quality germinated brown rices containing high levels of GABA can be obtained by chitosan application.

The objective of this study is to examine the studies of foreign workers in Korea at a level of meta-analysis focusing on their subjects and methodology. Over the last 15 years, studies of foreign workers have diversified subjects and refined methodology reflecting major characteristics of migration patterns including a rapid increase in number, large populations of illegal sojourners, a majority low-skilled young male workers from less developed countries, and an active role of migrant-support NGOs. Nevertheless, the studies have shown problems such as a higher ratio of macroscopic discussions, overemphasis on social problematic issues and a tendency towards descriptive analysis. Methodologically, they have also revealed an inactive use of empirical and quantitative data, lack of representativeness of sample and disregard of an importance of language in the study of foreigners. Based on the analysis, this study proposes strategies to enhance researches of foreign workers in Korea.

The purpose of this study was to analyze mathematical storytelling in Korean elementary mathematics textbooks and propose some applications for better storytelling, Storytelling strategies were introduced for enhancing students' understanding on mathematical concepts and improving students' attitudes toward mathematics. For this study, the researcher analyzed the 2nd grade mathematics textbook that employs storytelling strategies. The results are as follows. First, current storytelling textbook chapter is designed to appreciate students' intellectual autonomy. Second, current storytelling textbook chapter includes the storytelling that helps understand mathematical concepts and exercise mathematical skills. Third, current storytelling textbook chapter is designed for enhancing students' interest and helping students' character education. The researcher suggested the followings. First, a long term field-based research should be continued for more improved mathematical storytelling materials. Second, a digital format storytelling also needs to be developed as an alternative strategy of mathematical storytelling, which reinforces interactions between teller and listeners.

This study aims at investigating measures to vitalize the Pohang Yeongil New Port and its hinterland in the context of the post Covid-19 pandemic. To identify appropriate strategies, an SWOT analysis combined with fuzzy-AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) was applied for strategical priority. Among the SWOT factors, weaknesses and threats were found to be critical. At a more detailed level, the strategic priorities were given to insufficient infrastructure (W), neighboring ports (T), insufficient shipping network (W), low service level (W) and South-North Korea relationships (T). Given these results, several strategies to overcome core weaknesses and threats of the Pohang Yeongil Port were suggested. The results of this study may provide valuable insights for port policy makers.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the general characteristics, effect size, and qualitative indicators of self-advocacy studies of people with developmental disabilities published in domestic academic journals and theses. For this purpose, among a total of 2153 papers related to self-advocacy published from 2000 to 2023, 41 studies with developmental disabilities as the keyword were selected, and the specific research results are as follows. Based on the results of this study, when developing a language intervention program related to self-advocacy for people with developmental disabilities, it is recommended to develop an intervention program based on the number of sessions of 10-19 in a learning situation with 20-30 people in adolescents and adults, or during the transition period. There are many studies limited to educational aspects such as special education and integrated education, and by applying this, it is hoped that a self-advocacy language intervention program will be developed at the level of language rehabilitation that can effectively and sophisticatedly assert self-assertion and self-rights after experiencing difficulties in communication.
