This study was aimed at examining the effect of the intergenerational program on the attitudes and intimacy between the elderly and children. The pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design was used. The subjects were 232 old persons and 1,687 infants or children. The experimental programs was composed of 232 programmes focused on the education by the elderly and each program was implemented for three months and over. The results of this study showed that the attitude toward other generation of the elderly and children was changed significantly positive and the intimacy between two generations was increased significantly higher after participating in the experimental programmes. Based on the results, the various long-term intergenerational programmes need to be developed and implemented.

세대간 통합 프로그램은 1980년대 이래로 외국 사회노년학 분야뿐만 아니라 아동학분야에서 점차 관심이 높아지는 주제이다. 이러한 프로그램은 양 세대간의 올바른 이해를 통하여 긍정적인 관계향상을 도모한다는 분명한 목표를 갖는다 일반적으로 아동은 노인에 대하여 매우 부정적인 태도를 가지며, 노화과정에 대하여도 두려움을 느낀다고 보고되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 세대간 통합 프로그램이 아동의 노인인식에 영향을 미치는지를 조사하고자 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to exam the effect of the intergenerational program of character education for young children. For this purpose, the intergenerational program of character education for young children were constructed and implemented based on the previous studies of intergenerational program and of character education linking with nuri-curriculum. The subjects of this study were 24 children aged 3 and 6 elderly people in their 70s. The findings of this study were as follows; First, the elderly-children intergenerational program show the positive effect in order of filial duty, public order, cooperation, consideration, respect and sharing. Second, there were the changes of behavior and attitude from the children toward the elderly.

South Korea's rapid ageing and the fast increase of nuclear families have led to the social isolation of the elderly and generational conflicts. In order to solve these social problems, this study explores the ways in which different generations can communicate and interact more actively. We surveyed 110 social workers who run generation-integrated programs at community centers in Gyeonggi province, and also examined the spatial design of the four age-integrated community centers and analysed its effect on the intergenerational exchange. We propose several suggestions for intergenerational exchange programs and effective space planning to facilitate intergenerational interactions in multi-generational community centers. To develop intergenerational interactions and keep their constant relationship, the users of community centers should be the core of generation-integrated programs which can facilitate the intergenerational exchange and interactions.

This paper aims to examine the causes and features of current generational conflicts in Korea and to discuss their implications. The data utilized in the study include collective data on presidential and general elections and secondary data obtained from empirical research. The findings are as follows. First, generational power conflicts express itself by struggles among generations concerning the timing of political power transfer. An average age of assemblymen decreases consistently regardless of changes in overriding ideological atmosphere in general - conservative vs. liberal. Second, ideological conflicts among generations were highly intensified around 2002 presidential election, but gradually moderated since 2004 general election. The conflicts might be re-intensified if a set of conditions were satisfied. Third, cultural conflicts between older and younger generations were contrasted around three cultual axes: economic growth with top priority vs. consumerism, collectivism vs. individualism, and authoritarianism vs. post-authoritarianism. To ease strained relations between generations, intergenerational programs were suggested.

The authors had presented two previous papers[1,2] on Helicopter/Rotorcraft develoment in Europe and US. Meanwhile, the next generation rotorcrafts, currently under development in US and Europe, have new configurations (tilt-rotor, coaxial, compound) of rotor-type vertical takeoff/landing rotorcrafts to overcome the disadvantages of traditional helicopters. For developing these new types of rotorcrafts, the upgraded conceptual design/comprehensive programs are required. In US and Europe, they are already developing new program tools with their technologies and database obtained during more than last half centuries. For us, many academia, research institutes and industrial engineers have experienced and developed core technologies on rotorcrafts (aerodynamics, structural analysis, flight dynamics, and noise analysis etc.) comparable to US and Europe during last couple of decades of developing helicopters and various configurations of rotorcrafts. In this paper, the pros and cons of conceptual design/comprehensive tools currently used in US and Europe have been summarized. Furthermore, the possibilities and problems to develope our own design and analysis tools have been studied.

통합통신서비스는 차세대 정보서비스산업에서 중요한 위치를 차지할 것으로 기대되고 있다. 전화, 이메일, 인스턴트 메시징, 팩스, 음성사서함과 같은 여러 종류의 통신매체를 통합한 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 각매체를 연결하는 통일된 통신 프로토콜이 필요한데, 현재 가장 각광받고 있는 통신프로토콜은 인터넷 기술에 기반한 SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)이고, 이를 활용하기위한 프로그래밍 인터페이스로는 기존 웹프로그래머에게 익숙한 Servlet 형식을 갖고 있는 SIP Servlet 이 제공되고 있다. 그러나 프로그래머 인터페이스의 유사성과는 별개로 시스템의 처리용량이 증가할 때 발생하는 성능상의 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 SIP 응용프로그램의 특성을 고려하여 진단을 수행하고 운영파라미터를 조정하여야 한다. 또한 응용프로그램설계에 있어서도 전통적인 웹응용프로그램에서는 무시되었던 부분이 중요한 성능방해요소로 작용하기 때문에 주의가 필요하다. 이 논문은 공개된 인터넷망에서의 서비스를 목적으로 개발된 통합통신서비스를 개발하는 과정을 중심으로 성능문제의 진단과 개선 사례를 소개하고 응용프로그램 설계에서의 고려사항에 대해서 논의한다.

6-DOF flight simulation program is most generally used M&S tool in domestic missile development procedure. The 6-DOF M&S method, however, cannot validate the performance of a imaging seeker-adopted missile in various conditions. A M&S tool for the analysis of the integrated-flight simulation is required since the tracking performance of the imaging seeker is highly dependent on the missile maneuvering, which introduces the displacement and rotation of the target in the seeker imagery. Through the development of the $3^{rd}$ generation anti-tank missile, Raybolt, the integrated-flight M&S tool was developed and applied to the missile configuration design. It integrates synthetic image generation S/W, imaging tracker, and flight simulation program and computes the main system performance criteria, hit probability by Monte-Carlo Simulation. In this paper, the issues in the $3^{rd}$ generation anti-tank missile configuration and the integrated-flight M&S method and results are described.

생산시스템에 지능을 부여하려는 기술개발을 선진국에서는 최근 IMS프로그램을 통해 시도하고 있다. 이중 '차세대 생산시스템을 구축을 위한 통합모델 기초 연구' 과제에 일본에서 많은 관심을 보이고 있으며, 이는 CIM기술실현을 위해서 중요 과제로 판단된다. 이와같이 설계, 가공 및 생산관리 정보를 통합하려는 목적을 갖는 과제의 하나로 공정설계 자동화 과제가 있다. 이 과제에서는 생산정보의 통합을 위한 노력으로 특징형상(Feature) 기술과 데이터베이스 이용 기술 등을 개발하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IMS 사업의 관심과제, 생산정보 통합 측면에서 상기 기술에 대한 이해, 그리고 공정설계 자동화 연구과제를 제한된 범위에서 생각해 본다.
