5년 전 엄청난 기대를 안고 시작된 3세대 이동전화 서비스는 이제 3.5세대로 진화하고 있다. 3세대 서비스도 채 정착되기 전에 3.5세대 서비스로의 진화가 무슨 의미를 지니는지 혹자들 평가에 따라 다르겠지만, 분명한 건 진화를 한다는 사실이었다. WCDMA.HSDPA등 기대를 받고 있는 3세대 관련 서비스 동향은 지금 어떤 모습일까?

부모세대 낙농인들은 아무린 정보 없이 낙농업을 시작했기에 다방면의 시행착오를 겪으며 쌓아 온 소중한 '경험'을 가지고 있고, 후계낙농인들은 낙농과 축산에 대한 이론 교육은 물론 수많은 정보 속에서 알아낸 '지식'이 있다. 일반적으로 경험과 지식이 한데 모이면 큰 효과를 내기 마련이지만, 세대가 다르다는 이유로 갈등을 겪다 보면 시너지 효과를 제대로 얻을 수 없다. 그러나 경기 화성지역에는 소통을 통해 세대 간의 벽을 허문 모임이 있다. 바로 박홍섭 전(前)지회장을 축으로 지역 후계낙농인들이 모여 꾸려나가고 있는 '젖소개량 스터디그룹'이다. 목장에 필요한 경영노하우를 연구 토론하는 것은 물론 경험과 지식을 함께 나누고 있는 박홍섭 전(前)서울우유연합지회장과 후계낙농인들을 만나봤다.

This study examines the extent to which mediator variables, including hostility, paranoid, and attitude toward wife abuse, help explain the relationship between exposure to violence in family of origin while growing up and subsequent abuse against wives. SPSS 10.0 for windows is used to examine data obtained through 223 married men who live in Kwanju. The findings indicates that (a) exposure to violence in family of origin while growing up is related to all mediator variables; (b) exposure to violence in family of origin while growing up and mediator variables are associated with abuse against wife; (c) experiencing of child abuse predict perpetration of sexual abuse against wife, and witnessing of father-to-mother abuse account for more strongly perpetration of psychological and physical abuse against wife: (d) in general, exposure to violence in family of origin has more strong indirect impact on wife abuse for adult male.

Nano-saftey has become an emerging issue recently, because of the broad use of nanomaterials in nano-industries and commercial areas. For a sustainable development in the nano-industry, active studies on nano-safety should be executed, especially on the potential risks in engineered nanomaterials (ENMs). Although acute and chronic assessments of nanomaterials have been extensively studied in many studies, multigenerational studies are very scarce. Overall, multigenerational studies have progressed as two different trends, studying post-generational effects or trans-generation effects. This study intended to suggest further nano-safety studies based on the trends and limitations of current ones. Through a comparative analysis, we investigated peer-reviewed multigenerational studies that used nanomaterials. Thirteen studies on post-generation effects confirmed generational nano-toxicity via several bioassays, such as mortality, fertility, and behavioral assays. Seven studies on trans-generation effects demonstrated nanomaterial pathways to next generations, using imaging techniques. Until now, mechanisms for post-generational nano-toxicity has been rarely proposed. Thus, we propose that complementary studies on such mechanisms are imperative for future studies.

This research aims to verify the generation transfer of proper manners from mothers to adolescent children and the relationship between adolescents' proper manners and strengths of family life. The data from 826 questionnaires (413 pairs of adolescents and mothers) were used for the final analysis. The findings of the study are summarized as follows: First, as for the extent of the implementation of manners of mothers and adolescent children both parties generally abided by good manners, but a significant difference emerged in the patterns. Second, both mothers and adolescent children were influenced by psychological determinants of self-esteem, values of humanism, emotional intimacy between mother and child, and social support for the implementation of good manners. On the other hand, adolescent children were affected the most by the emotional intimacy with mothers. Third, children generally showed significant differences in their implementation of manners according to the manners their mothers. Fourth, there were significant differences in the strengths of family life for adolescent children depending on their implementation of manners. Fifth, when comparing the relative contribution of the mothers' psychological determinants on strengths of family life and adolescent children's psychological determinants on the implementation of manners, strengths of family life gained more credibility as more variables were added.

'유비쿼터스' 시대를 맞아 누구보다 앞장서 뛰고 있는 곳이 바로 이동통신 서비스업체들이다. 언제 어디서나 휴대 단말기로 인터넷에 접속, 멀티미디어를 즐길수 있는 3세대 이동통신 서비스로 승부를 낸다는 전략이다.

공동주택은 단독주택과는 달리 대지와 건물의 계단, 벽 등을 공동으로 사용하지만 각 세대별로는 독립된 주거생활을 영위할 수 있도록 건축된 소방대상물로서 아파트, 연립주택, 다세대주택 및 기숙사 등이 이에 해당된다. 공동주택은 대부분 단지 내 기계실에서 전 세대에 소화수를 공급하고 있기 때문에 부재중인 세대와 사생활침해 등의 이유로 출입이 자유롭지 못한 세대로 인하여 스프링클러의 점검 작업 시 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다.

현재 미 해군에서 개발 중인 DD21은, 미 해군의 해상 전투력 구조의 핵심인 이지스급 함정을 제외한 DD-963급 구축함과 FFG-7급 프리깃 함의 교체함으로서, 연안전에 대한 새로운 특수 임무에 적응할 수 있게 많은 학자들에 의해 연구되고 있는 차세대 구축함이다. 즉, DD21은 기존 이지스 함정에 부가하여 대지전(Land Attack)과 대기뢰전을 포함한 다목적의 기능을 발휘하면서 전투원의 스마트(Smart), 배치와 장비와 기구의 자동화와 기계화를 통한 함정과 함체의 스텔스(Stealth)화로 유지비와 초기 투자비를 최소화시킨 함정이다.

우선 환경에서 기존 음성 서비스와 항께 비디오론 포함한 인터넷 데이터 서비스를 차세대 이동 통신을 위한 주요 서비스로 인식하고 있으며 가정에서 다양한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 흥 네트워크 역시 차세대 인터넷 기술로 부각되면서, IP가 고정적으로 내장된 이동 전화나 가전 제품의 사용이 필수적이 될 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 주소 부족의 문제뿐만 아니라 기능 및 성능적인 면에서 IPv6 주소 방식의 사용이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 현재 사용되고 있는 IPvf 네트워크에서 IPv6 네트워크로의 전이 단계에서 IPv6 스택을 가지는 이동 노드의 이동성을 지원하기 위한 메커니즘을 제안하였다.

The experiment was conducted to obtain estimates of heterosis, selective index, genetic advance and selective efficiency in cross among silkworm varieties. Seven parents, 21 F$_1$ hybrids, and 21 F$_2$ populaltions from diallel crosses among them were evaluated. The results obtained are summarized as follows: In male and female of F$_1$ generation, the negative heterosis was shown in two characters of fifth instar period and boiling on ratio, and the positive heterosis with the value of 20.90-37.60% in the other characters. In those of F$_2$, the nagative heterosis was shown in two characters of cocoon layer ratio and boiling off ratio, and the positive heterosis in the other characters. The selection weight of cocoon weight for bave weight was the highest of those of all the characters, and that of the combination of the fifth instar period and cocoon weight for it was the highest of those of all the combination. The genetic advance of cocoon weight toward bave weight was the highest of all the characters. The highest genetic advance and selective efficiency were shown in the combination of all the characters.
