고준위 방사성폐기물의 안전 관리 문제는 모든 원자력 발전 국가들의 공통된 과제이자 아직까지도 논쟁의 중심에 서 있는 뜨거운 이슈이기도 하다. 세계 각국은 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 지난 1950년대부터 많은 노력을 해 왔다. 과연 고준위 방사성폐기물을 안전하게 처분할 수 있는 방법은 존재하는 것인지, 그리고 세계 각국은 이를 위해 어떤 노력을 하고 있고 또 어떤 생각을 갖고 있는지, 그 현황과 전망에 대해서 알아본다.

컬러 관리는 인쇄에서 가장 중요한 이슈 중 하나다. 또한 처음 생산한 인쇄물의 컬러를 마지막까지 일관되게 유지하는 것은 무엇보다 중요하다. 특히 컬러의 일관성은 디지털 인쇄 방식에서 많이 지적되곤 하는데, 최근 SNS상에서 전 세계 각국의 인쇄인들이 각자의 경험을 바탕으로 컬러 일관성에 대한 논의를 열어 주목을 받았다.

Prior research suggested that people generally show stronger intentions to help in-group members because people experience higher levels of empathy for those who are similar to themselves. The present research demonstrated that one's levels of cosmopolitanism would moderate the mediating role of empathy on the relationship between cultural similarities and helping intentions. In particular, it was examined how the mediator (empathy) affected the relation between cultural similarity and helping intention for participants with low to high levels of cosmopolitanism. Results indicated that participants with lower levels of cosmopolitanism showed stronger empathy as targets are more culturally similar to participants' own culture. Participants with higher levels of cosmopolitanism, however, reported the same levels of empathy regardless of targets' cultural similarity. The implications and limitations of the results were discussed.

전 세계는 지구온난화와 고유가시대를 맞이하여 배출가스 규제에서 온실가스와 연비 규제로 확대되면서 그린카라는 새로운 용어가 등장하였다. 원유 고갈과 원전 불안으로 수송연료에도 신재생 에너지와 세일가스 등장에 큰 기대를 걸고 있으며, 새로운 에너지원을 사용하는 전기자동차와 수소연료전지 자동차의 개발도 활발이 진행되고 있으나 자동차시장의 형성은 각종 규제의 만족은 물론이고 경제성, 안전성, 편리성 등이 수반되어야 한다. 향후 세계 자동차시장은 에너지의 수급 사정과 시대의 요구 조건에 따라 크게 좌우되므로 각 국가별 여건을 고려하여 단계를 구분해서 그 시대에 가장 적합한 그린카 차종이 무엇인지를 신중하게 분석하여 산업화 정책을 추진해야 할 것이다. 이러한 관점에서 최근 기계연구원이 주축이 되어 개발하여 운행 중인 디젤하이브리드 자동차를 중심으로 세계 그린카 개발동향을 소개하고자 한다.

This paper summarizes the differences and characteristics between virtual worlds and virtual reality, and advances research on immersive elements for improving the reality of virtual worlds. The immersive elements are broadly studied by separating the sensory immersive elements and the technical immersive elements, focusing on the sensory organs of sight, perception, touch, and hearing, and investigating the correlation between these elements to improve the immersive feeling in content design. 세계무역센터를 대상으로 발생한 9.11.테러 이후 세계 테러 동향은 하드타겟에서 경성타겟으로 점차 변화하고 있다. 경성타겟으로 목표 변화는 테러리스트의 접근성, 대상의 상징성, 미디어 집중성을 고루 갖추고 있어, 테러리스트들의 의사 전달이 용이하기 때문이다. 경성타겟으로 변화와 함께 미디어를 활용한 테러 교육으로 자생테러(외로운 늑대)도 증가하고 있다. 2022년 7월 8일, 일본의 다중이용시설인 나라현 야마토사이다이지 역에서 총기테러 사건이 발생하였다. 야마가미 데스야가 자생테러범은 개조한 사제 총기를 일본 전 총리 아베를 향해 발포하여 과다출혈로 사망에 이르게 하였다. 위 사례는 세계 테러 동향의 변화를 반영한 사건으로, 경성타겟을 목표로 한 자생테러 형태를 보여주고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 다중이용시설 테러 발생 시 우선적으로 고려해야하는 고위험 테러유형을 도출하고자, 우리나라와 국가 경쟁력이 비슷한 G7국가의 다중이용시설을 대상으로 발생한 테러사례를 통계적으로 분석하여 테러유형별 위험도를 도출하였으며, 다중이용시설을 대상으로 자행되는 고위혐 테러유형의 위협을 차단하기 위한 테러안전관리 대책의 개선사항을 제언하고 있다.

올림픽은 세계 체육인의 제전인 동시에 평화에 제전이요 인간미의 제전이기도 하다. 세계의 많은 사람들이 한곳에 모여 이 제전에 참가하여 지켜본다. 그뿐만 아니라 메스콤을 통하여 세계의 수많은 사람의 이목이 집중되는 제전이기도 한다. ''88년에는 한국이 처음으로 이 제전을 가지는 성스러운 장소가 되어 세계 만방에 우리 국력을 과시하게 된다. 이때 우리 한민족은 금수강산을 더욱 아름다운 꽃으로 수놓고 꽃의 낙원을 만들어 한국을 세계인에게 아름다움의 나라, 고요한 아침의 나라라는 이미이지를 깊게 부각시키는 계기로 삼아야 할 것이다.

격년으로 독일에서 열리는 'Photokina 2010'가 지난 9월 21일부터 26일까지 독일 쾰른에서 성황리에 개최되었다. 한국을 포함한 전 세계 45개국에서 1천251개 사가 참가했고 전시기간동안 18만 명 이상의 참관객이 다녀갔는데 이는 이전 전시회보다 7% 증가한 수치라는 점에서 다시 한 번 위상을 과시한 세계적인 전시회였다. 협회에서는 15개사와 한국공동관으로 참가하여 우리제품을 세계시장에 빌리 알리고 좋은 상당성과를 거두고 돌아왔다. 본고에서는 카메라 위주의 제품출시 경향과 한국업체들의 성과 등에 대해 정리해보았다.

In order to answer the research question of 'how the listed World Cultural Heritage is being managed now?' the indicators of management effectiveness evaluation were set up based on international principles on the basis of the preceding research. The weights and priorities of each evaluation indicators were worked out through the Analytic Network Process(ANP) Technique. Therefore, the evaluation system to evaluate the management status of the World Heritage Sites have been established. Also, through calculate the converted score of 100 points based on the relative importance of these evaluation indicators among the World Heritage Site management effectiveness evaluation index for scoring and the score table was created. When evaluated for the management status of World Heritage Sites to set five rating of the final evaluation score: very deficiency, deficiency, general, good, excellent. According to the results the follow-up study will be carried out in the future.

Geography textbooks often have treated the world as a collection of independent nations. Also, many scholars have warned of ethnocentric bias in geography textbooks. Global education that emphasizes world interdependence and pursues global perspectives offers some possibilities to go beyond the status quo of current World Geography textbooks. The primary objective of this study is to analyze current US World Geography textbooks in terms of global education. A secondary objective is to explore a framework for rereading World Geography textbooks critically. This interpretive qualitative case study indicates that US World Geography textbooks maintain an imperialist and American-centered perspective. Especially, the case of Korea shows that other places and people are underrepresented through dichotomy, negative attitude and exclusion, misconception and stereotyping, and simplification in textbooks. Therefore, we need to detect conscious and unconscious fallacy and bias, to understand the world view and experiences of underrepresented people, and to deal with controversial global issues from diverse perspectives through global perspectives and post-colonial perspectives of global education.
