  • In the study, we described on the 3D solid model be made on the AutoCAD haved an effect on the deviation of form as RP manufactures the facetres. The STL file improved the deviation of form as the facetres value but the deviation of form have the difference a little as the RP system. In result, we ruled the correlation with the 3D solid model and the RP sample manufacturing, with manufacture RP sample according to facetres value in complex shape. And we developed the program which recombination the STL file that we make use of the AutoLISP.

  • In this paper Research development about a micro metal forming manufacturing system has been developed. A micro forming system has been achieved in Japan and it's developed micro press is limited to single forming process. To coincide with the purpose to be more practical, research and development is necessary about the press which the multi forming process is possible. We set the development of the equipment including micro deep drawing, micro punching and micro restriking process to the goal. To achieve this goal, we set the application product to a micro thin foil valve which is used in the micro pump module. The compound die set has been designed and manufactured to make two step process. The material of thin foil valve is SUS-304 and its thickness is 50$\mu$m. We can get a good forming results from micro punching experiments in this paper.

  • In this paper, I introduce a simple design method using existing filter design method, such as Parks-McClecllan algorithm, for root-squared type raised cosine filter with equiripple characteristics, Thought some design examples, we show that the proposed filter has much better performance in ripple than the conventional SRCF at the expense of small increasing of ISI. In addition, the proposed filter is compatible with conventional SRCF. Finally, the filter for W-CDMA which uses RRC (Root Raised Cosine) with a=0.22 is designed in 12bit finite precision.

  • In this paper, the injection molding process of automotive seat-back cover is analyzed in terms of simulation and of experiment. FE analysis was used to obtain molding conditions such as injection pressure, filling pattern, packing, shrinkage. Vacuum system for low pressure injection molding is developed in the experiment. Low pressure injection molded parts have been compared with conventional molded parts in terms of molding quality and mechanical properties. Based on the results, good product and the productivity improvement can be obtained in low pressure injection molding for automotive seat-back cover.

  • 작업물(Work)을 기계에 장입출, 가공에 필요한 공구류의 공급 등이 완전 자동화 된 기존의 사출성형기 Series를 제조하는 FA Systme은, MAP 대응의 FA System 으로 개량되었다. 이 논문은, MAP 대응 새 FA 시스템의 MAP에서 분산.통괄의 역할을 하도록 개발된 Cell controller의 정보관리기능 가운데 하나의 응용으로서 제조공정을 자동적으로 Scheduling 하는데 Expert 시스템(전문가시스템)을 적용한 idea를 소개하는 것이다. 이 idea의 적용 으로 인하여 제조공정의 scheduling 작염은 종래의 주단위로 부터 일일단위의 작업으로 처리가 가능해졌고, 또, 공구수명관리기능의 부가로 무인운전시의 기계의 가공율도 종래보다도 녹일 수가 있었다.

  • 자동차의 제조과정은 크게 유니트 생산과 차체 조립으로 이루어 지고, 차체는 박판 성형에서 용접, 도장, 조립의 단계로 생산된다. 연간 수십만대 규모의 생산량을 갖는 자동차의 제조 시스템은 각 단계에 적절한 공장들로 구성되고, 이들은 각각 특성에 맞게 적정 수준의 생산성과 유연성, 그리고 원가 구조를 갖는 시스템을 보이게 된다. 본 고에서는, 자동차 생산의 시스템 전략적인 측면과 유니트 및 차체의 가공, 조립 시스템에 관한 기술현황을 사례 중심으로 고찰하고자 한다.

  • This paper deals with anisotropic property and structural analysis for short fiber reinforced plastic composites manufactured by the injection molding process. The common approach for modeling this type of material is the consideration of the material as homogenous and isotropic. However, the common isotropy approach often results in unexpected failure. To overcome this, new structure analysis methodology was developed in order to consider fiber orientation effect using injection mold flow analysis and Halpin-Tsai equations for unidirectional composites and taking an orientation average. The numerical predictions are compared to experimental data for tensile specimen. The predicted mechanical properties agree well with experimental data for fiber orientation and weld line effect. The analysis system was also applied to an automobile part. The proposed anisotropic model predicted different mechanical properties by position of the part and different mechanical performance of the part was changed according to injection gate position.

  • The barrel cam, which is a type of cylindrical cam, has been widely used as a part of index drive units for automatic manufacturing machines. The axis of rotation of the barrel cam is orthogonal to the axis of rotation of the follower. The index drive rotates or dwells depending on the cam profile, while the cam rotates with a constant velocity. Continuous sliding contact between the barrel cam and the follower surfaces causes wearing of the adhesive between them. This study shows that the contact force between two sliding bodies is responsible for the wear of the barrel cam in the paper-cup-forming machine. This contact force is calculated by using the multibody dynamics model of the paper-cup-forming machine. The analytical result is validated by comparing it to the actual wear spots on the real product.

  • Demand for Ti-6Al-4V alloy is increasing in various industries because of its superior strength to weight and high-temperature strength properties. However, due to its low formability at room temperature, it is formed at high temperature, where its productivity and efficiency are low. The current high-temperature forming method has many limitations because it involves heating the specimen by heating the lower mold. It is expected that a process using high frequency induction heating, which can locally heat the product, can improve its productivity. In addition, time and cost can be saved if the process is simulated in advance with a reliable analysis. In this paper, we verified the reliability of the analysis by comparing the result of heating the specimen to 850 ℃ by high frequency induction heating and the temperature obtained through the co-simulation analysis.

A Study on Hopper Design for Minimizing the Wrapage Deformation at Injection Molding Processes (사출공정에서 휨 변형을 최소로 하는 호퍼 설계 연구)

  • Injection molding is a high efficient manufacturing technology for producing plastic parts. On the other hand, the warpage of molded plastic parts is an ubiquitous problem in the injection molding process. The main objective of this study was to minimize the amount of warpage occurring in the injection molding process of a hopper of ATDPS made of crystalline polymer (PP) instead of amorphous polymer (ABS). The moldflow CAE simulation was conducted for the molding process of the hopper to clarify the injection moldability, shear rate, shear stress, warpage by changing the gate shape and the number of ribs installed on the top of the hopper flange. The wide gate shape of runner system and multiple rib installation were found to be useful for minimizing the warpage of the hopper. The validity of the CAE simulations was supported by the injection molding experiment for the optimized design case.
