  • The notable findings are as follow: First, men show higher level of perceiving open marriage, sex-role, acceptance of extra-marital relationship and intention of extra-marital sex than that of women. Second, the effects of men's perception of sex-role and open marriage, and the acceptance of extra-marital relationship have direct effects on their intention of extra-marital sex. The acceptance of extra-marital relationship shows the mediation effect on the path between that of open marriage and extra-marital sex among men. However, men's perception of sex-role does not affect the acceptance of extra-marital relationship. Lastly, women's perception of sex-role and open marriage, and the acceptance of extra-marital relationship directly influence the intention of extra-marital sex each, including the mediating effect of accepting extra-marital relationship between that of open marriage and extra-marital sex which are similar to the men's trend. Women's perception of sex-role show the direct effect on the acceptance of extra-marital relationship unlike man's trend. Therefore, the fact demonstrates that the effect of perceiving of sex-role on the intention of extra-marital sex is different according to gender. Some practical and political implications are discussed based on the study's findings.

First of all, based on prior studies, it was intended to show that adolescents' sport commitment is effective in reducing smartphone addiction through social support and ego-resilience, and that such causal relationships vary significantly depending on gender. To this end, a survey of 605 middle and high school students was conducted, and the structural relationship between the four established latent variables was analyzed by analyzing the structural equation model using the SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. According to the analysis, adolescents' sport commitment was found to have an adverse effect on smartphone addiction, and social support and ego-resilience in the relationship between the two variables were found to have a mediated effect. In addition, these results showed significant differences in gender. This study expanded the field of smartphone addiction and sports convergence study by revealing the relationship between sport commitment as psychological recognition variable and addiction Unlike previous studies using a participation time, duration, and intensity, and suggested that structural relationships with personal characteristic variables and gender-specific approaches are important. Through this, it is meaningful that it provided basic data for in-depth convergence study in the smartphone addiction and development of gender-specific programs.

And lower levels of effortful control were associated with teacher-child conflict. More child-initiated interactions were related to the conflict relationships with teachers. Results suggest that child characteristics and teacher-child interactions contribute to children's relationships with teachers.

  • This paper explores the relationship between working hours and the residual gender wage gap in Korea. Because the labor practice of working long hours in Korea favors men, who tend to spend little time on domestic labor, long working hours can influence the residual gender wage gap by discriminating against women. We analyze this discrimination empirically, and find the following results. First, the returns from working long hours are not high in most occupations in Korea. Second, working hours have a positive effect on the residual gender wage gap in male-dominated occupations, but not in female-dominated ones.
