Construction of measuring equipment for the power performance and load measurement of KBP-750D (KBP-750D의 출력 성능 및 하중 측정을 위한 계측장치의 구성)

  • 포항공과대학교의 포항풍력에너지연구소(PoWER Center)가 개발에 참여했던 750kW급 직접구동형 국산화 풍력발전시스템(KBP-750D)은 그 개발이 완료되어 2005년 말경 대관령의 풍력실증단지에 설치되었고 현재는 시험운전이 수행되고 있다. KBP-750D의 상용화를 위하여 출력성능 및 하중측정을 통한 실증연구가 진행되고 있으며, 현재는 KBP-750D에 대한 출력성능 및 하중 측정을 수행하기 위하여 계측장치가 설치되어 시험 측정이 진행되고 있다. 본 발표에서는 풍력발전시스템에 설치된 계측장치의 구성 및 설치 결과를 상세히 보고한다.

  • 현재 계측기산업은 빠른 속도의 발전을 거듭하고 있는 전자산업에서의 하나의 핵심분야로 나타나고 있는바, 단일 계측기의 질적 향상에서 탈피하여 컴퓨터와 계측장비를 연결해 계측절차를 간소화 한 CAT(Computer Aided Test)가 등장하고 있으며, 또한 계측기 분야의 신혁명이라고 불리는 표준화된 VXIbus와 MMS 등이 개발되고 있어 이 분야의 새로운 장을 열고 있다. 오실로스코프, 스펙트럼 애널라이저 등 단일 계측장비의 성능 제고가 지난 80년대의 업적이라면 향후 전개될 90년대는 계측시스템 간의 통합화와 표준화라고 볼 수 있다.기술적으로 개방되고, 모듈화 된 계측기 표준에 대한 필요성이 점차로 증가함에 따라 개발된 VXIbus시스템은 모듈기기의 개방구조로서 H/W 및 S/W로 구성되어 있으며, 현재 많이 사용되고 있는 VMEbus를 계측기기에 적합하도록 확장시킨 것이다. 분문에서는 계측시스템의 일반적인 발전추세를 비롯하여 VXIbus의 세부구조, 전기적 기능, 응용 등의 세부내용을 나타내고 있다.

Evaluation of Structural Performance of Self-anchored Suspension Bridge Using Bridge Health Monitoring System (계측모니터링 시스템을 활용한 자정식 현수교의 구조성능 평가)

  • In this paper, the performance of bridge health monitoring system(BHMS) installed in suspension bridge was tested and the field loading tests have been done by using BHMS to get quantitative results on the response of bridge. Before the field tests, globally structural analysis was performed to verify and estimate the test results and the static and dynamic field loading tests were carried out. Depending on comparison with results of field tests and structural analysis, field tests results were evaluated as 30%~50% less than structural analysis results, so it was confirmed that the bridge has excellent structural performance. Therefore field test results were measured within an acceptable error range, so it is verified that the BHMS in the bridge has been reliable and efficient.

  • As the ship is getting bigger and faster lately, ship's structure or cargoes might be often damaged and the ship might be cut in two in extreme conditions by a wave impact on its bow. In this paper, the vertical acceleration, which is one of factors for evaluating seakeeping performance, was measured under the various sea states by the hull stress monitoring system(HMS) on the bridge, and the result was compared with those of model test and theoretical studies. Then, we confirmed the seakeeping performance of T.S. HANBADA by comparing it with ITTC seakeeping criteria This result will be a great help for the safe navigation by making it possible to estimate the possibility of work and the amount of risk under the various sea conditions with which may be confronted, and the shipbuilding yard can be possible to construct the vessel with superior performance through these data measured on the actual ship.

  • 자연과학은 계측기술의 발전과 함께 진전하고 있다고 보아도 된다. 여러 가지 자연현상을 정상 적이 아닌 정량적으로 엄밀하고도 정확하게 잡아냄으로서 비로소 한 사물과 다른 사물과의 관련 성과 인과관계를 적절하고도 확실하게 이해할 수가 있다. 최근 전자공학의 발달로 어제의 정밀 계측기와 오늘의 정밀계측기의 성능이나 면모가 일신되어 그 변화발전의 속도가 다른 분야보다 훨씬 앞지르고 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 특히 사물을 정상적으로 인식하는 패턴(pattern)과 같은 인식기술 또한 첨단계측기술이라 하겠으나, 이는 목적에 따라서는 일반적으로 불충분하며 수치로써 표현됨으로써 비로서 보편적이고도 타탕성이 있다고 보게되며, 적합하고도 확실한 정 보를 입수하며 지식을 잘 다듬음으로써 비로서 다른 사물에 잘 응용할 수가 있는 것이다. 여러 가지 공업적인 기술에 있어서 이 계측은 모든 것의 기초가 되며 계측기의 발달은 바로 그 분야의 문제해결과 적결되어서, 그 분야의 학문과 기술을 보다 한발 전진시켜주는 요인이 된다고 보아서 앞으로의 정밀계측기의 개발연구는 더울 중요성이 높게 평가되야만 한다고 생각한다. 따라서 자동차공업은 하나의 종합된 정밀기계공업이라고 볼 수 있으며 매년 우리나라 자동차생산은 증 대일락에 있고 그 수출량 또한 증가되어 품질보증은 그 어느때보다도 요구되고 있어, 과학의 기초인 계측에 관해 기초개명에서부터 최근의 정밀계측시스템에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.

Steady-State Performance Simulation and Engine Condition Monitoring for 2-Spool Separate Flow Type Turbofan Engine (2-스풀 분리배기 방식 터보팬 엔진의 성능모사 및 진단에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, a steady state performance analysis program was developed for a turbofan engine, and its performance was analyzed at installed conditions. For the purpose of evaluation, the developed program was compared with the performance data provided by the engine manufacturer. It was confirmed that the developed program was reliable because the results by the developed program were well agreed with those by the engine manufacturer within 3.5%. The non-linear GPA(Gas Path Analysis) program for performance diagnostics were developed, and selection of optimal measurement variables was studied. Furthermore, in order to investigate effects of the number and the kind of measurement variables, the non-linear GPA was analyzed with various measurement sets. Finally, the measurement parameters selected in the previous step were applied to the fault detection analysis of the 2-spool separate flow type turbofan engine.

  • In this study, the steady state performance analysis program was developed for a turboprop engine, and its performance was analyzed at uninstalled and installed conditions. For the purpose of evaluation the developed program was compared with the performance data provided by the engine manufacturer and analysis results of GASTURB8.0 program. It was confirmed that the developed program was reliable because the results by the developed program were well agreed with those by GASTURB8.0 within %%. The linear and non-linear GPA(Gas Path Analysis) programs for performance diagnotics were developed, and selection of optimal measurement variables was studied. Furthermore, in order to investigate effects of the number and the kind of measurement variables, the linear and non-linear GPAs were analyzed with various measurement set. If the measurement parameters were properly selected, the reliable and economic faults detection might be possible even thought the small number of measuring parameters were used.

  • In order to evaluate the safety of navigation at sea and the safety of mooring on berthing, it is necessary that the wave and wind induced ship dynamic motion should be measured in real time domain for the validity of theoretical evaluation method such as sea-keeping performance and safety of mooring. In this paper, the basic design of sensors is discussed and some system configurations were shown. The developed system mainly consists of 4 kinds of sensors such as three-dimensional accelerator, two-dimensional tilt sensor, azimuth sensor and two displacement sensors. Using this measuring system, it can be obtained the 6 degrees of freedom of ship dynamic motions at sea and on berthing such as rolling, pitching, yawing, swaying, heaving, surging under the certain external forces.

  • Modern naval ships install an Infra-Red Signature Suppression system (IRSS) in their exhaust pipe to reduce infrared signature emitted to the outside. In addition, naval ships are strategic assets with a very long life cycle, so high reliability of the performance of the equipment on board must be guaranteed. Therefore, equipment such as IRSS is evaluated for performance through model testing at the design stage. A variety of measuring instruments are used in IRSS model testing, and the reliability of these instruments must also be guaranteed. In this paper, a study was conducted to evaluate the reliability of measurement equipment used in IRSS model testing. The test equipment and instruments used were a hot gas wind tunnel, pitot tube, digital differential pressure gauge, thermocouple sensor, and digital recorder. As the fan speed of the hot gas wind tunnel increased, the measurement deviation of the flow decreased, and the temperature output of the thermocouple sensor showed differences in response time and stability depending on the method used.
