Korea has also progressed important policies such as development of creative industries, start-up activation and employment creation through creative economy as a key policy. However, each country has a different definition of creative economy and detailed field to promote, and there is a lack of research on creative economy of industrial complexes and activation plans of creative industries. This study derived the priority order and importance of development plans to develop into creative clusters through AHP analysis base on Gumi National Industrial Complex that have had a significant role in the national economy since the 1970s. As a result, the creativity enhancing factor was the highest priority, followed by creative infrastructure and network. These results mean that it is necessary to promote creativity in order national industrial complexes to continuously lead national economy and for this purpose it needs to prioritize the development of creative human resources and to extend the creative R&D. This study can be provided to government and local policy makers and innovation agencies as basis data and practical policy guide to establish a successful creative cluster by deriving the priority order in reflection of both hardware and software policies such as infrastructure to develop national industrial complex into creative cluster.

This paper aims to analyze the business types of 237 IoT based smart home companies in the world (launched during 1999~2014) which got global investment last few years. For this, the previous literatures trying to analze technology and service types of smart home are searched and the typology of the platform is discussed. Based on it, this research conceptualizes an analysis framework that includes three areas of smart home like home automation, home security, and energy efficiency with the three platform types like product, software, and service. This study concludes that the development of business type for IoT based smart home ecosystem is from the product to software and it can be a platform or not. In current status, there are a few platforms of product and software, but in the device management (16%) and thermostat (11%), companies are persuing more platform like. It is difficult to find the service platform in overall areas, for application based service has a few attractions in the investment market due to the lack of cloud infrastructure and data analytics. The following three are the implication to domestic market: 1) More active offering of API and SDK, 2) more active introduction of wireless Intenet network protocols, and 3) more active interoperability efforts and alliance activities are needed.
Understanding market convergence has became essential for small and mid-size enterprises. Identifying convergence items among heterogeneous markets could lead to product innovation and successful market introduction. Previous researches have two limitations. First, traditional researches focusing on patent databases are suitable for detecting technology convergence, however, they have failed to recognize market demands. Second, most researches concentrate on identifying the relationship between existing products or technology. This study presents a platform to identify the opportunity of market convergence by using product databases from a global B2B marketplace. We also attempt to identify convergence opportunity in different industries by applying Structural Hole theory. This paper shows the mechanisms for market convergence: attributes extraction of products and services using text mining and association analysis among attributes, and network analysis based on structural hole. In order to discover market demand, we analyzed 240,002 e-catalog from January 2013 to July 2016.
Increased attention has worldwide been given to exporting SMEs pursuing the rapid internationalization from their inception. In spite of the limited resources, exporting SMEs have entered in global markets successfully and then improve their internationalization performance. Nevertheless, there is little empirical research regarding internationalization in exporting SMEs, Using a survey of 317 exporting SMEs, this study designated organizational, entrepreneurial, environmental, and technological characteristics as determinants of internationalization performance as well as investigates empirically the relationships among the determinants of internationalization performance, export Support programs of the government, and internationalization performance. According to the results of the study, firstly, R&D capacity, globalization-orientation, international market environment, and technological characteristics (e.g. technological capacity and imitation) have significant effects on international performances. Finally, it is found that export support programs moderated the relationships between market information management, R&D capacity, management capacity, international market information, and technological capacity, and internationalization performance. Above results indicate that if exporting SMEs would not use export support programs effectively, they could not improve internationalization performance. As well, several implications for researchers and practitioners, limitation of this study and future direction were suggested.

The purpose of the establishment of Fab Lab is to promote the sustainable development of local communities around the world. To this end, The Fab foundation are preparing a resource-circulating society that maintains a city's self-sufficiency rate of 50% or more by 2054. In developed countries, Fab Lab is not only a manufacturing space for startup support, but an open innovation space for learning and creation. In addition, in emerging countries, Fab Lab is playing a role as a digital production center to create and share appropriate new technologies by reflecting the needs of local communities. India has 70 Fab Labs, the largest emerging country, ahead of Russia's 48. India's Fab Lab is conducting a collaboration project through regular meetings held every six months. The subject of this study, Fab Lab Vigyan Ashram, is defined as a place to transfer the concept of digital lab to alternative schools in rural India. In this study, we looked at a case in which an alternative school for an agricultural community called Vigyan Ashram, the modern version of the Gurukula system, successfully combined with the digital fabrication called Fab Lab to become a new citizen-led making community of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Based on this, we explored the development model of the Indian Fab Lab that fits the local situation.
