농형 2차측을 갖는 선형 유도전동기의 제어 특성 모니터링 (Control Characteristics Monitoring of Linear Induction Motor with Cage-type Secondary)

  • This paper presents a position control system for a linear induction motor(LIM) with cage-type secondary using direct thrust control(DTC). Also it presents a virtual instrumentation(VI) system for LIMs performance monitoring. The VI is designed using the graphical programming language LabVIEW and is capable of performing measurement functions, including data acquisition, display, and analyses at the same time. This paper reports the LIM's responses of the thrust, current, speed, and flux measured by the proposed monitoring system.

  • A Linear Induction Motor that generates the direct thrust directly, is widely used for the operation system of electrified railroad, elevation system, conveyer system, and so on. There are two analysis methode of linear induction motor characteristics. One is the electrical magnetic analyzing, the other is analyzing equivalent circuit. The electrical magnetic analyzing methode has available advantages to consider the physical condition. The equivalent circuit analyzing methode has the elementary methode in the system of vector control and over shoot situation. In this paper, It is used the dynamic characteristic analyzing methode that can calculate efficiently the end effect by using equivalent circuit methode in the operating linear induction motor system modeling and doing simulation of output characteristics of vector controller.

  • This paper presents the characteristic analysis of slotless tubular type Linear DC Motor with Permanent Magnet excitation as variation of magnetic pole-pitch ratio. The stator armature winding of this motor is designed to wind at inner stator around the mover mounted with permanent magnet. First the practical model of this motor is made and its parameter is measured, after this simulation is carried out. Comparing the simulation results as variation of pole-pitch ratio, it can be seen that the reaching ability makes it useful in applications requiring a small, direct-drive actuator, which is required to extend into a specially constrained environment.

  • In this paper, a control method based on finite element analysis is presented to reduce the thrust ripple of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). In the control method, additional compensation current is added to the conventional control current according to the position of mover. The exact value of the compensation current is calculated from finite element analysis. To conform the validity of the presented method, a test set is built and experiments are performed.

  • The problem in improving the positioning precision of a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM) is the detent force caused by the interaction of the magnets with the teeth of stator. This paper presents 3-Dimensional Equivalent Magnetic Circuit Network Method (3-D EMCN) for the analysis of PMLSM. 3-D EMCN is a numerical analysis method which supplements magnetic equivalent circuit by using numerical technique. We analyzed the fields and forces of PMLSM in case of skewed magnet and axially segmented magnet construction.

  • In the industrial field, the necessity for the linear motion is increasing. Because of the motion converting mechanism there exist many losses. So the application of linear machines instead of rotating machines is increasing. As compared with a mono-polar type linear DC motor, it is possible for a multi-polar type linear BC motor to have a longer stroke and more thrust with thin shape. However, there are thrust ripple on multi-polar type one. In this paper, a design to multi-polarize of the linear DC motor is discussed. In order to make a smoother thrust on multi-polar type linear BC motor. a method is proposed.

  • In this paper, dynamic characteristics analysis of linear induction motor with joints in the secondary conductor is discussed. The time stepped finite element method and moving mesh technique are used for simulation. ${\nabla}{\phi}$ of jointed secondary conductor is defined for simulation, respectively. Simulation results have shown that joints in the secondary conductor affect thrust ripple and attractive force ripple.

  • A Linear Induction Machine(LIM) is the motor which is developed from an rotary induction machine. Usually, the electromagnetic field of an LIM is analyzed by Maxwell's equations. The structure of an LIM is different from a conventional rotary machine, an LIM has some particular characteristics such as the end effects. Hence, the mathematical analysis of an LIM is very complicated and the implementation of the equivalent model is difficult. In this paper, the dynamic equations and the equivalent model of a Double-sided short primary LIM(DLIM) is obtained by the winding function and a d-q theory. The validity of the proposed methodology is verified by numerical analysis.

  • The equivalent circuit of SLIM is composed of the circuit parameters. They can be obtained from the electromagnetic theory. The accelerating characteristics of SLIM are the best efficiency when synchronous speed changed continuously. The paper outlines a method of acceleration for an accelerated field system in which it is desired to reduce the overall length to a minimum, assuming a limit on the amount of heat which can be generated in the secondary member. The paper then shows that a primary unit designed to give several discrete field speeds only, as opposed to one with continuous speed variation, is not significantly inferior in performance to the latter but is much easier to manufacture.

  • A robust nonlinear speed control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) is presented. A perturbed dynamic model including the influence of parameter variations and speed measurement error on the nonlinear speed control of a PMSM is derived. Based on this model, a boundary layer integral sliding mode controller to improve the robustness and performance of the nonlinear speed control of a PMSM is proposed and compared with the conventional controller.
