Train-Structure Dynamic Interaction Analysis of The Bridge Transition Considering Track Irregularity (궤도틀림을 고려한 교대접속부의 열차상호동적거동해석)

  • In this study, track dynamic interaction characteristics caused by the vehicle running through transitional section such as bridge abutments were studied using the finite element analysis program. The geometric condition of track was generated by trigonometric function and allowable maximum track irregularity is determined by KORAIL track maintenance criteria. The sub-infrastructure under rail fastener system was modelled by 3D solid elements. To reduce computational cost only half track line is numerically considered and the roller boundary condition was applied to each side of model. In this study, the vehicle-track dynamic interaction analysis was carried out for standard Korean transition section of concrete track and the dynamic behaviors were investigated. The dynamic characteristics considered are wheel load variation, vertical acceleration at body, and maximum Mises stress at each part of transitional section.

A Study on Basic Characteristics of Short Wavelength Transmission Line Employing Periodically Arrayed Capacitive Devices and Its Application to Highly Miniaturized Passive Components on MMIC (주기적으로 배치된 용량성 소자를 이용한 단파장 전송선로의 기본특성 연구와 MMIC용 초소형 수동소자개발에의 응용)

  • In this study, a short-wavelength transmission line employing periodically arrayed capacitive devices (PACD) was studied for application to miniaturized on-chip passive component on monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC). The transmission line employing PACD showed shorter wavelength and lower characteristic impedance than conventional microstrip transmission line. The wavelength transmission line employing PACD structure was 8% of the conventional microstrip transmission line on GaAs substrate. Using the theoretical analysis, basic characteristic of the transmission line employing PACD (e.g., loss, effective dielectric constant, effective propagation constant, bandwidth ) were also investigated in order to evaluate its suitability for application to a development of miniaturized passive on-chip components on MMIC. Above results indicate that the transmission line employing PACD is a promising candidate for a development of miniaturized passive components on MMIC.

A Small Broadband Antenna for Wibro/WLAN/Mobile WiMAX (Wibro/WLAN/Mobile WiMAX용 소형 광대역 안테나)

  • In this paper, we propose a small broadband antenna for mobile device. The proposed antenna consists of a printed rectangular monopole antenna and a parastic element connected to ground using narrow meander line and it is designed on a FR-4 substrate that has a thickness of 0.8 mm and a dielectric constant of 4.4. The FR-4 substrate's size is 50 mm${\times}$90 mm comparable to the real mobile device. The fabricated antenna's size is 12.5 mm${\times}$10.5 mm${\times}$0.8 mm and the measurement shows -10 dB return loss bandwidth of 2,200~6,000 MHz and gains of 2.86~4.01 dBi. Accordingly, the proposed antenna can support mobile device for WiBro(2,300~2,380 MHz), WLAN(IEEE 802.11b/g/n: 2,400~2,480 MHz, IEEE 802.11a: 5,150~5,825 MHz), and mobile WiMAX(IEEE 802.16e : 2,500~2,690 MHz, 3,400~3,600 MHz) service bands.

Tilting Train-induced Roadbed Response on the Conventional Line (틸팅열차 주행시 기존선 흙 노반의 응답특성)

  • It is a fact that the straightening of track alignment is one of the undoubted ways to improve the train speed on conventional lines, while that requires huge investment resources. Therefore, the operation of a tilting train as well as the minimum improvement of track is suggested as an effective and economical alternative way for the speed-up of conventional lines. Since a driving mechanism of tilting train is different from those of existing trains, in order to make sure its operation safety and stability on conventional line, the performance of track and roadbed must be preferentially evaluated on the conventional line. Furthermore, it is necessary to estimate the tilting-train-induced roadbed response in detail since the roadbed settlement can lead to the track deformation and even derailment. In this research, the patterns of wheel load and lateral force were monitored and analyzed through the field tests, and the derailment coefficient and degree of wheel off-loading were calculated in order to evaluate the tilting train running safety depending on the running speeds (120km~180km) on the conventional line. Moreover, roadbed pressure, settlement and acceleration were also observed as tilting-train-induced roadbed responses in order to estimate the roadbed stability depending on the running speeds. Consequently, the measured derailment coefficient and degree of wheel off-loading were satisfied with their own required limits, and all of the roadbed responses were less than those of existing high-speed train (KTX) over an entire running speed range considered in this study. As a result of this study, the tilting train which will be operated in combination with existing trains is expected to give no adverse impact on the conventional line even with its improved running speed.

A Design and Implementation of Dual-band Monopole Antenna with DGS (DGS를 이용한 이중 대역 모노폴 안테나의 설계 및 제작)

  • In this paper, a microstrip-fed dual-band monopole antenna with DGS(: Defected Ground System) for WLAN(: Wireless Local Area Networks) applications was designed, fabricated and measured. The proposed antenna is based on a microstrip-fed structure, and composed of two strip lines and DGS structure and then designed in order to get dual band characteristics. We used the simulator, Ansoft's High Frequency Structure Simulator(: HFSS) and carried out simulation about parameters W2, L10, W3, and DGS to get the optimized parameters. The proposed antenna is made of $21.0{\times}36.0{\times}1.6mm3$ and is fabricated on the permittivity 4.4 FR-4 substrate. The experiment results are shown that the proposed antenna obtained the -10 dB impedance bandwidth 700 MHz(2.10~2.80 GHz) and 1,780 MHz(5.02~6.80 GHz) covering the WLAN bands. Also, the measured gain and radiation patterns characteristics of the proposed antenna are presented at required dual-band(2.4GHz band/5.0GHz band), respectively.

The Design of Ring Resonator with Considering Effect of Coupling Gap (결합 갭의 영향을 고려한 링 공진기의 설계)

  • A radius of ring resonator is determined by the resonant frequency. Resonant frequencies of resonators with the circumference which is integer times of wave length are not same the expected. In this paper, we suggest the design method of a ring resonator with coupling gap, which has the resonant frequency of desire. The equation which can make reduction of the radius of the resonators depending on the gap space is derived by the method of transmission line analysis. The criterion is suggested to determine the radius of the resonator in accordance with relative permittivity. A ring resonator by the proposed method is as small as one-third of basic ring in size and it has the resonant frequency of desire. T-type coupling line is designed to obtain large attenuation of $S_{11}$ at pass-band. These coupling line capacitances are very lower than the gap capacitances, it does not affect the resonant frequency.

  • A conventional elastic material replacement and performance evaluation are very complicated and time-consuming, and it is difficult to know when to replace the elastic material in advance. By comparing with the product limit and the functional limit, the necessity of elastic material replacement and the improvement of track support stiffness according to replacement can be immediately demonstrated based on experimental data. Using an evaluation system of track support stiffness, the performance evaluation data for elastic materials obtained through field tests using software for track support stiffness is integrated and managed on the administrator's computer. Therefore, the replacement plan is established and maintenance history is managed by identifying the replacement time and location of elastic materials. It is possible to evaluate the performance and condition of the elastic material at the various points during the working time of the track inspection and the track performance (track support stiffness) and durability of the elastic material (aging level, spring stiffness variation rate, etc.) at the operation condition. The elastic material could be replaced timely, and the deterioration of the elastic material can be continuously monitored.

  • In this study, rail surface defects are increasing due to the aging of urban railway rails, but in the detailed guidelines for track performance evaluation established by the country, rail surface damage is inspected with the naked eye of engineers and simple measuring tools. With the recent enactment of the Track Diagnosis Act, a large budget has been invested and the volume of rail diagnosis is rapidly increasing, but it is difficult to secure the reliability of diagnosis results using labor-intensive visual inspection techniques. It is very important to discover defects in the rail surface through periodic track tours and visual inspection. However, evaluating the severity of defects on the rail surface based on the subjective judgment of the inspector has significant limitations in predicting damage inside the rail. In this study, the rail internal crack characteristics due to rail surface damage were studied. In field measurements, rail surface damage locations were selected, samples of various damage types were collected, and the rail surface damage status was evaluated. In indoor testing, we intend to analyze the correlation between rail surface defects and internal defects using a electron scanning microscope (SEM). To determine the crack growth rate of urban railway rails currently in use, the Gaussian probability density function was applied and analyzed.

Group Delay Time Matched CMOS Microwave Frequency Doubler (군지연 시간 정합 CMOS 마이크로파 주파수 체배기)

  • In this paper, a frequency doubler using modified time-delay technique is proposed. A voltage controlled delay line (VCDL) in the proposed frequency doubler compensates the group delay time mismatching between input and delayed signal. With the group delay time matching and waveform shaping using the adjustable Schmitt triggers, the unwanted fundamental component($f_0$) and the higher order harmonics such as third and fourth are diminished excellently. In result, only the doubled frequency component($2f_0$) appears dominantly at the output port. The frequency doubler is designed at 1.15 GHz of $f_0$ and fabricated with TSMC $0.18\;{\mu}m$ CMOS process. The measured output power at $2f_0$ is 2.67 dBm when the input power is 0 dBm. The obtained suppression ratio of $f_0,\;3f_0$, and $4f_0$ to $2f_0$ are 43.65, 38.65 and 35.59 dB, respectively.

  • 발전소 시뮬레이션 시스템 기술은 종합적인 지식을 바탕으로 자료수집 및 분석, 소프트웨어 개발 환경, 수학적 모델, 전산기 구성, 각종 계기류 설계 및 구매 장착 등의 노하우를 알아야만 제작할 수 있는 종합적인 기술이다. 또 지시기반의 기술이며 부가가치가 높은 기술이기 때문에 선진 각국에서는 계측제어 시스템의 기술개발 및 시장 확대를 위하여 힘을 쓰는 동시에 타국으로의 기술정보 유출을 경계하는데 신경을 곤두세우고 있다. 현재 복잡화되어 가고 있는 산업 사회의 전력 수요에 대한 대폭적인 증가 추세에 따라 발전소에서는 보다 효율적이며 합리적이고 경제적인 전력 공급을 위해서 전력 생산에 대한 신뢰성 향상 및 안정성 확보는 물론, 효율성 높은 운전이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 한편, 국내의 시뮬레이션 시스템 분야 기술은 아직도 완벽한 수준에는 미치지 못하며, 이 분야의 기술력 확보 및 신기술 개발은 향후 미래의 모든 시스템산업의 성쇄를 판가름하는 아주 중요한 척도가 될 것이다. 이 중에서 접지 분야는 고전압 혼촉에 의한 저압측 선로의 전압상승 방지, 모선(Bus)이나 전력 기기의 절연보호 및 회로전압의 안정등으로 시스템 성능을 한층 증가 시켜줄 뿐아니라 기기의 오동작이나 낙뇌등으로 인명피해 발생을 없애주는 아주 중요한 분야임에도 불구하고 이 분야의 국내 관련법규등이 미비한 사항이다. 그래서 발전소 분산제어 시스템분야의 장기간 신뢰성 및 안정성을 가지고 있고, 국내에서 많이 사용하는 미국 Bailey의 infi-90 및 독일 ABB의 Procontrol-P를 비교 분석하여 발전소 시뮬레이션 시스템의 접지에 응용 하고져 한다.상호 발생기를 이용한 다양한 시스템 검증 및 분석에 이용할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문은 가상호 발생기의 구조와 최대 용량 시험 방법을 소개하고, 더 나아가 호 Traffic에 대한 최대 용량 시험뿐 아니라 QoS를 향상시키기 위한 교환 시스템의 제반 성능 시험 및 분석에 이를 이용하기 위해 개선이 필요함을 서술하고자 한다.textrm{m}$~3.4$\mu\textrm{m}$ 범위에서의 투과 및 흡수 스펙트럼을 측정하였다. 결정 성장 결과 B3+, Er3+, Cr3+ 이온은 Ti4+ 이온과 이온의 크기 차이가 심하여 결정의 정상적인 성장을 방해하는 물성을 나타냈고, V5+, Cr3+ 이온은 흑색의 결정, Fe3+ 이온은 적갈색의 결정으로 성장되었다. Al3+, Zr4+, Al3+의 순서로 투과도가 높아지는 것이 관찰되었다. 불순이온의 농도에 따른 영향으로서 Al3+ 이온의 경우 주입농도가 높아질수록 low angle boundary와 oxygen deficiency가 감소하였고, 투과율은 조금 감소하거나 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 Cr3+ 이온을 주입한 경우 0.003 atomic%에서 최적의 물성을 보였으며, 주입농도가 높아질수록 결정성장이 어려워지고 광의 투과도가 급격히 저하되었다.은 1.3을 나타내었다.로 보인다.하면 수평축과 수직축의 분산 장벽의 비에 따라 cluster의 두께비가 달라지는 성장을 볼 수 있었고, 한 축 방향으로의 팔 넓이는 fcc(100) 표면의 경우 동일한 Ed+Ep값에 대응하는 팔 넓이와 거의 동일한 결과가 나타나는 것을 볼 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 비대칭적인
