Empirical Study of Determinants Influencing Intention to Recommend Contents Based on Information System Success Model (콘텐츠 추천의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 정보시스템 성공모형을 중심으로)

  • With the proliferation of information technology communication and smart device, the environment where contents are produced and distributed is changing. People can use the contents quickly and easily, and the content industry is attracting attention and creating newly added value by converging with other industries. Accordingly, there is a need for content-related companies to understand the quality of content perceived by users in order to succeed in content, and to use it strategically. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relationship between content quality factors, user satisfaction, and recommendation intention through empirical analysis based on an IS success model. The analysis was conducted using smartPLS3.0 based on a total of 301 survey responses. As a result of the study, it was found that content usefulness, accessible system quality, convenient system quality, service provider trust, and interaction had a significant effect on user's satisfaction. Perceived privacy protection had a significant effect on user satisfaction and recommendation intention. Lastly, it was found that user satisfaction had a significant effect on recommendation intention. The results of this study are expected to provide useful information and therefore content companies can understand about the quality perceived by users.

Towards Service Quality Improvement for University Library by LibQUAL+ Analysis for Multiple Years (LibQUAL+의 통시적 분석을 통한 대학도서관의 서비스 개선 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Users tend to perceive differently the service quality of library depending on the advance of digital information technologies. It is necessary to analyze the cumulative results of LibQUAL+ in order to identify the suggestions for improvement of library services. This study aims to comparatively analyze the results of LibQUAL+ and demonstrate the trends and changes for the services of university library. To achieve the purpose of this study, two university libraries were selected for analysis. The library of McGill University in Canada was selected with the six years' results of LibQUAL+. Another library located in Seoul was selected with the 2012 result of LibQUAL+ and a new LibQUAL+ in 20015 was conducted for this study. The results were analyzed with three dimensions and 22 items in terms of circular chart, bar chart, and graph. Findings of this study indicated that there were substantial differences in terms of years of LibQUAL+ survey and user groups with undergraduate/graduate students in three dimensions. In particular, the results of A library showed that users were likely to expect more from the university library, but they perceived low service quality. In addition, there was found considerable differences among users groups in terms of undergraduate and graduate students. The improvements for library services need to focus on three dimensions such as staff, resources, and facilities as well as customized services for individual user groups.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the nature of the relationship between several factors representing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) service quality enumerated in the service marketing literature and the adaptability to the marketing strategy of EDI service firm in Korea. An empirical study was carried out to examine not only the determinants of shipping service quality and satisfaction level but also its implications to the service marketing strategy. The data investigating the determinants of EDI service quality were collected from Korean EDI end-users. Exploratory Factor analysis was carried out to analyze the data.

Service Quality Recognition and Satisfaction of Art Museum Visitors: The Case of Gwangju Museum of Art (미술관 관람객의 서비스품질 인식과 만족도 분석 : 광주시립미술관을 중심으로)

  • The items currently used in museum service evaluations fail to offer satisfactory suggestions that could aid in the improvement of museum services. This study aims to identify and develop items that take into consideration the unique nature of art museum services. This study also identifies factors that determine visitor satisfaction and decisions to revisit with the end of offering methods to improve art museum service. The research conducted was based on an on-site survey of visitors of the Gwangju Art Museum. 223 questionnaires were collected, 211 of which were used in the data analysis. Factor analysis was applied to identify service factors to be considered at art museums. Regression analysis was then applied to estimate the influence of each factor in visitor satisfaction and revisit intention. This study first identifies five service quality factors of art museums: display method, employers, content, facilities, and supplemental programs. Results of the regression analysis showed that content is the most important factor in raising customer satisfaction and revisit intention. Supplemental programs were also significant in raising young and family customer satisfaction. The results also showed that various supplemental services such as education and experiential programs were necessary. Service facilities were also statistically significant factors in customer satisfaction and revisit intention. This study contributes in identifying five factors that could better measure art museum service quality. It also suggests a method to improve museum service quality based on the results of empirical investigations. This information could be of great help to art museum operators and other researchers.

A Study on the Distance University Library Service Quality Factors and User Perception (원격대학 도서관 서비스품질 요인 및 이용자 인식 연구)

  • This study aims to grasp what factors affect users' recognition level and expectation level for library service, being offered at the library of Korea National Open University. Also, this study seeks to conduct a survey and analyze whether users' recognition level by library service dimensions has actually influenced the intention and the satisfaction with using the library. For this, it carried out the theoretical approach, which considers domestic and foreign documents on evaluation of quality of library service, and the empirical approach of questionnaire research and analysis. A research model was designed on the basis of LibQUAL+model to achieve the objective of this research. And the group-based difference was confirmed by carrying out verification on research hypothesis. As a result of analysis, the users' current recognition level by library service dimensions of Korea National Open University was indicated to have influence on the whole satisfaction with library and the continuous use intention. The whole satisfaction was indicated to have an effect on continuous use intention. Also, to enhance users' satisfaction level according to the behavioral characteristics of using library, the core elements for improving the library service of Korea National Open University were cited and these include improving the facility of library, implementing smart digital library system for offering remotely academic information, and securing diversity and currency of academic information sources such as printing materials and electronic materials.

  • 품질경영이 공공기관 및 연구소의 연구개발 분야로 확대된 오늘날, 나날이 복잡해지고 다양해지는 기술 변화와 높아진 고객의 품질 기대에 부응하여 고품질의 연구개발 결과물을 창출해 내기 위해서는 품질에 영향을 미치는 연구원의 모든 조직 및 참여인원들이 품질보증 및 향상에 대한 인식 제고가 필요하다. 뿐만 아니라 연구원의 경영 원칙 및 제도적 지원을 바탕으로 모든 연구개발 사업에 공통으로 적용할 수 있는 R&D 표준 프로세스의 구축의 필요성이 대두되었다. 정부출연 연구 기관인 한국전자통신연구원의 R&D 프로세스가 갖추어야 하는 특성과 이 특성을 고려하여 개발한 R&D 표준 프로세스를 소개한다.

  • 국내의 정보시스템 감리가 공공기관의 정보시스템에 개발감리 위주로 도입된 지 20 년 가까이 되었으나, 운영부문에 대한 감리는 일부만 시행되고 있다. 최근 국내에서는 정보시스템 운영감리의 중요성을 인식하여 운영감리지침 제정 등 운영감리를 위한 준비를 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 공공기관의 정보시스템 운영감리 시 감리인의 기술적 특성과 관리적 특성이 운영품질에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 공공기관의 정보시스템 담당공무원을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 분석하였다. 감리인의 기술적 특성이 감리인의 관리적 특성과 정보시스템의 운영품질에 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 감리인의 기술적 특성이 정보시스템의 운영품질에 유의한 영향요인으로 나타났다.

A Study on the Effects of Railway Logistics Information System Quality on the shipper's Satisfaction (철도물류정보서비스 품질이 화주의 만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The service quality of website has been recognized as an important factor for business productivity and affected the customer behavior. The logistics industry is no longer exceptional for these trends. This study attempts to find out relationship between the quality of railway logistics information service (reliability, availability, appearance, convenience) and the satisfaction of shipper. In the result of regression analysis, reliability and availability have effects to shipper's satisfaction. But appearance and convenience have no effects to shipper's satisfaction. The purpose of this paper is to suggest the strategy of railway logistics information service to increase the shipper's satisfaction.

Comparative Study on Perception Difference about Importance of Quality factors in Logistics Service in Supply Chain Partnership (공급사슬 파트너십에서 물류서비스 품질 요소의 중요도 지각 차이 비교)

  • Today, researches on logistics service quality or supply chain management are highlighted due to intensification of competition and diversification of needs for customer service. This study have done a comparative analysis on supply chain partnership members' perception difference about importance of logistics service quality factors. It measured perception about logistics service quality which suppliers, carriers, and buyers regard as important and then conducted t-test in order to compare perception difference. It was found that quality factors of logistic service which suppliers, carriers, and buyers in supply chain partnership perceive as important were different. And disagreements among members were found in most items when market orientation and long term orientation was low while there was no difference among most members when market orientation and long term orientation was high.

Examination of Factors Influencing Switching Intention in Mobile Music Service: focusing on Moderating Effects of Attractiveness of Alternatives and Switching Costs (모바일 음악 서비스의 전환 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 고찰: 대안의 매력도와 전환비용의 조절 효과를 중심으로)

  • The major purpose of this study is to examine the effects of customers' perceptions toward service quality of mobile music service on customer loyalty and switching intention. For this purpose, this study posited three service quality characteristics including interface, service, price quality as key determinants of customer loyalty and switching intention based on relevant literature reviews. A research model and hypotheses concerning the relationship between these variables were constructed. Moreover, this study explored the moderating effects of attractiveness of alternative and switching costs on the relationship between customer loyalty and switching intention. An online survey was administrated on 433 mobile music service users and a simple, multiple, and hierarchical regression analysis were employed. The results indicated that all of interface, service, price quality have significant positive influences on customer loyalty, and both of service quality and attractiveness of alternatives have influences on the switching intention in a positive way. On the other way, it was shown that switching costs have a negative influence on the switching intention. The moderating effect of attractiveness of alternatives on the relationship between customer loyalty and switching intention was also found. The implications of these results are discussed.
