Users want to receive customized service using users' personal device. To fulfill this requirement, the mobile device has to support a lot of functions. However, the mobile device has limitations such as tiny display screens. To solve this limitation problem and provide customized service to users, this paper proposes the environment to provide services by sharing resources and the method to recommend user-suitable resources among sharable resources. For the resource recommendation, This paper analyzes user's behavior pattern from usage history and proposes the method for recommending customized resources. This paper also shows that the approach is reasonable one for resource recommendation through the satisfaction evaluation.

The e-book technology is developing day by day with the expansion of e-ink technology. However, consumers' complaint over contents which are relatively deficient compared to paper book, the issue of compatibility of file between bookstores is not improved as yet. This means that present e-book market needs study in the viewpoint of consumer who intend to accept requirement of market instead of viewpoint of technical development. Thus, this study intends to measure the quality of three main attributes such as system, contents and service based on IS Success Model which compose e-book to identify the influence on readers' purchase intention. Result, System quality is to device purchase intention, and Contents quality is to e-book pruchase intention, it showed a significant damaging effect on.

LTE-Advanced network will form the high-speed IP backbone in collaboration with heterogeneous radio access networks for dynamic optimized resource utilization. In order to implement more innovative and attractive services such as U-Cloud streaming, LBS and mobile smart TV, a mobile terminal needs to support multiple sessions simultaneously. Efficient resource allocation schemes are necessary to maintain QoS of multiple sessions because service continuity may be defected by delay and information loss during handover. This paper proposes a resource allocation scheme to accommodate multiple sessions in a mobile terminal on handover period based on session priority mechanism. Simulation is focused on the forced termination probability of handover sessions. Simulation results show that our proposed method provides a better performance than the conventional method.

The international mobile roaming service has been provided for more than one decade, but high price of international mobile roaming service, which is represented as 'bill shock' is still of major concern in lots of countries including Korea. With understanding of the given price issues, the international organizations, such as OECD, EU, WTO, ITU have been conducting extensive analyses and studies to find suitable solutions and appropriate measures. In the case of EU regulate the international roaming charges and implement the regulation policy. OECD do not have a compelling regulation on roaming charges, but OECD request to member state to find the reasons of high roaming charges and its solution. WTO Council for Trade in Services is reviewing the international mobile roaming in terms of whether impede international trade in services. The purpose of this study is to review many different approaches in international organizations related to reducing international roaming service charges, to drive some regulatory policy directions for reducing roaming charges.

In this paper, we studied on the building models of open educational resource service system for download or upload their own educational content to be shared with the others without worrying about copyright infringement. We first analyzed the building models of the international OER(Open Educational Resource) service sites. And then, based on these results, we present the new service models suitable to be built the open educational resource service system in phases. The proposed models have the flexibility to accommodate the needs of users and have the advantage that the copyright-related issues of the existing 'National Educational Information Sharing System' could be solved step by step.

ATM is a key technology of integration of multimedia service. Recently, Many study have been concentrated on performance testing for evaluation network performance are stronger everyday. The performance testing is on evaluation of maximal throughput of network by measuring and analyzing of various performance parameters. There are two ways to test ATM network performance; one is using QoS in cell level on the point of network's view, and the other is using metric in frame level in the point of user's view. And, the standardization process is also under way. In this paper, we derive a performance requirement of TCP in TCP/IP data transmission over ATM UBR service. By applying the derived requirements to ATM and packet networks, we evaluate the performance of TCP over UBR based on the result of our simulations. Therefore, we evaluate the result of simulation and find degradation of network throughput by interaction between TCP congestion control and ATM cell drop policy. So we suggest the accelerated Vegas that modify traditional TCP Vegas in congestion control mechanism for batter network throughput.

The important purposes of research in ship operation are to ensure safe navigation, high efficiency of transportation, high accuracy, and security. IMO, develops a broad strategy for incorporating the use of new technologies in a structured way to ensure that their use is compliant with the various electronic navigational and communication technologies and services that are already available. As a base research for E-Navigation, therefore, this paper proposes a maritime information network based on Mesh Network that is one of the maritime broadband solutions. Firstly, this paper analyzes an international port network system and the requirements of port network for E-Navigation. Finally, it designs the maritime information network system based on Mesh Network and shows its validity for E-Navigation.

In this paper, we developed a prototype model accident management SMART-Navigation project. In order to develop a prototype model, we analyzed the status of maritime data exchange standard and procedure. We developed accident management prototype application schema, feature catalog and portrayal catalog in accordance with S-100 standard data model development procedure by collecting requirements related services and referring to related standards. In order to verify accident management prototype model, we test data set based on Gwang-yang Port. The prototype model and test data verified verification software, and it was confirmed that the designated symbol was displayed at the correct position through the S-100 simple viewer.

This paper aims to develope the technology for monitoring and identifying webtoon works that are being illegally distributed through the web-hard, torrent and overseas websites. The technology is to effectively prevent the illegal distribution and protect the copyrights of the webtoon works, leading to create a healthy market. This paper deals with the technology for (a) automatic collection of webtoon works from the webtoon service sites, (b) extraction of the features from the images of the collected webtoon works, and (c) registers them in the feature database. For these purposes, the required system performance and features were analyzed and the structures of webtoon service sites were examined, through which the system for automatic registration of webtoon works and features was developed. The system can work for the early stage blockage of illegal distributions of webtoon works which occur during the period from webtoon posting to feature registration.
