  • Cloud Computing Service should support efficiency and stability. United States of America, for example, provides FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program) accreditation to certify cloud computing service and hence growth of computing service industry is giving benefits of cost reduction and efficiency to companies. However, the use of computing service brings more risk than ever. Because cloud computing holds all the data of multiple companies, problems such as hacking bring out control loss of service and as a result total data of companies can be lost. Unfortunately, cloud computing certification programs do not have any good solutions for this data loss and companies may lose all the important data without any proper data backup. This paper studies such problems in terms of backup problem and provides Data Availability Zone solution for recovery and safe saving of data so that computing service can offer better efficiency and stability.

An Analysis of IoT Service using Sentiment Analysis on Online Reviews: Focusing on the Characteristics of Service Providers (감성분석을 활용한 사물인터넷(IoT) 서비스 리뷰 분석: 사업자 특성에 따른 차이를 중심으로)

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is characterized as the market where various companies compete for the same consumers. Thus, there are differences in functions and performance provided by the main business area and other characteristics of the service providers. This paper investigates whether satisfaction with the service provided depends on the characteristics of the operator by using sentiment analysis of comments. To achieve this goal, word importance analysis and sensitivity analysis are conducted on 34,310 reviews of 41 applications registered in the Google Play. The review analysis was conducted at various levels, including TD-IDF (Term frequency-inverse document frequency) value of keywords, service sectors, the origin of providers, and domestic/foreign providers. The results show that users' overall assessment of IoT services was found to be low, and smart homes received relatively high reviews compared to other services, and manufacturing-based and overseas providers received relatively higher evaluations than others.

  • Presently in 2018, the security market is requiring progressive development and innovation in the area of security on account of new changes and technologies. This means the rapid and prompt development of the service platforms and service-based information systems. Here, this study is going to examine the process of operating a number of services and obtaining security, not the criteria for selecting particular service in online environment where the various services exist. Within a series of flows to protect the manager's authority about the platforms operated by information systems, and to provide and destroy services, this author limits the entire service platforms of the optimized balance module into four categories maximum for the security of the area apt for illegal invasion and access, and the proper area. Also, about the area with limited security, this researcher again applies subordinate security policy and technology respectively. This author here will suggest a method to provide and to extend safety and security for the information system and also propose the process of applying it as well.

  • This research was tried for developing the model on the service science research scope. The suggested model is composed as 3 layer dimensional reference model. The first axis is on the perspective of service life cycle. Another second axis is on the service research characteristics or types. And last axis is also on the service systems. At here, service life cycle is related to service strategy, service development, and service implementation of operation. The service research characteristics or types is related to service basic research, service application research, and service convergence research. Lastly, the service systems is related to the needs analysis, service competence and service resources. This model can be applicable to include the various research topic or theme related on the service sciences. In the future, some enhanced models from researchers or practices from service providers, related on the service science research scope, are expected.

A Study on the Factors Affecting the Service Failure ZOT and severity Perception (서비스실패의 허용영역과 심각성 지각에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • As the development of service marketing, research on service failure has gained more and more attention. This research aims to explore factors influencing the service failure severity perception, focus on consumers' internal propensity, ZOT(zone of tolerance) about service and comparison with other consumers in service failure situation. According to study results, it revealed that past experience satisfaction has negative effect on the zone of tolerance about service failure. Company image also has negative effect on the ZOT about service failure. While service importance has negative effect on the ZOT about service failure, it has positive effect on the perceive service failure severity. The ZOT about service failure has negative effect on perceived serviced failure severity. In contrast, social comparison perception level has no effect on perceived service failure severity, and negative affectivity also has no effect on that. In Conclusion, five hypothesis are accepted among seven hypothesis. This study gives important point to researchers and service providers in the service industry. For researchers, the result will be helpful them to further develop service failure and recovery framework. For service providers, the results will suggest specific guidelines for recovering the service failure. They can place emphasis on the serious point, so they can get a effective performance from the recovery strategy.

  • 현재 많은 인터넷 콘텐츠 서비스가 다양한 방식의 유료 서비스로 제공되고 있지만 다양하고 복잡한 콘텐츠 서비스의 특성상 가격 책정에는 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 연구는 인터넷 영화관을 대상으로 하여 사용자들이 서비스를 선택할 때 가장 고려하는 속성을 분석하고 속성과 속성 수준을 설정한 프로파일들의 가격반응함수를 구하였다. 또한, 선형${\cdot}$곱셈${\cdot}$유인${\cdot}$구텐베르그 모델 중 가장 적합한 모델을 추정하고 독점 영역과의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 각 기업들이 서비스의 가격을 책정함에 있어서 가장 수익성 높고 적합한 전략을 설정할 수 있도록 방향을 제시하였다.

  • Fourth-generation (4G) cellular communication systems must provide different quality-of-service (QoS) to users according to the service type, membership class, and usage case of each user. For the purpose of user's QoS differentiation, we propose an enhanced uplink random access scheme for bandwidth request. More specifically, we divide a bandwidth request channel into two parts: One is a primary region and the other is a secondary region. Then, each region has a unique minimum access class that allows only specific users to perform random access through that region. By doing so, we can reduce collision probability and increase the success probability of bandwidth request. From the perspective of standardization, we presented this scheme in the IEEE 802.16m Session #66 held on March 2010. As a result, the concept of the proposed scheme and required messages were defined in the 802.16m standard.

  • Even though KMA(Korea Meteorological Administration) has been doing WE-FAX service in past 40 years, most of korean ship's officers use Japan/USA WE-FAX instead of KMA WE-FAX during passage in the NW Pacific. In this regards, the authors carry out the research on the improvement of KMA WE-FAX service, examining the officers's opinions to KMA WE-FAX service along with comparing Korea, Japan & USA synoptic weather charts. As a result, it is suggested that (1) Have KMA WE-FAX service known to the officers in the course of education and training, (2) Persuade ocean-going ships to participate VOS to provide more accurate weather charts. (3) Provide additional weather charts such as Wave analysis, Surface forecast and put useful weather informations on weather charts to enhance navigational safety.

  • 최근 위치기반 서비스 기술의 발달로 다양한 위치정보를 활용한 다양한 서비스가 제공되고 있다. 모블로그(Moblog) 서비스는 이러한 위치기반 서비스의 하나로써 모바일 사용자가 위치한 영역에 글을 포스팅하고 검색할 수 있는 서비스이다. 그러나 모블로그 서비스에서는 지역이 시스템에 의해서 임의로 나뉘어져 있기 때문에, 사용자가 동적으로 서비스 영역을 구분할 수 없고 세부적인 검색을 할 수 없다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 사용자가 현 위치에서 메모를 하거나 사진을 저장할 수 있는 가상게시판 서비스를 제안하고 구현하였다. 저장된 정보는 시스템의 공간 데이터로써 저장되어 사용자가 복합질의를 통하여 간편하게 검색할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • In this paper, a method for transmitting layered SVC streams in differentiated MBSFN channels is presented. Scalable coded video streams are transmitted in modulation channels of different efficiency that it achieves reduced resource consumption compared to non-scalable AVC stream. When utilizing with Raptor FEC, the combined effect is enhanced service coverage with providing minimum video quality at the edge of the service area, than the case of AVC.
