A Study on the Evaluation Factors on Korean University Education for Promoting Educational Service Export from the Perspective of Chinese Student in Korea (교육서비스수출 촉진을 위한 한국 대학교육 평가요인에 관한 연구: 중국인 유학생 관점에서)

  • The survey was conducted by Chinese students who currently attend universities for the purpose of evaluating factors that determine the quality of educational services of universities in Korea. Three public universities and five private universities in Kyungsang province were surveyed for the purpose of this study with standardized questionnaires. The study raised questions on four different fronts: 1) Is there a difference in the importance of evaluation factors by Chinese student's on the quality of educational services between public universities and private ones? 2) Is there a difference in the degree of satisfaction felt by Chinese students who attend public universities or private ones? 3) Are there any significant differences in the importance of evaluation factors and satisfaction with the quality of educational services? 4) How different the relative influence of evaluation factors has on satisfaction with the quality of educational services for overall Korean university system? The results of this study showed that there was no statistical difference in signification in the importance of evaluation factors on the quality of educational services between public universities and private universities. Only the relationship factor in criteria four had an effect on satisfaction with quality of educational services between public and private universities. There were significant differences in the importance of evaluation factors and satisfaction with the quality of educational services. Chinese students determined that professor's lectureship as the most important factor, and is the ultimate deciding factor whether they attend a public or private university. It should be noted that studying and knowledge are primary concerns to them. Improvements in the quality of educational services in area of lectureship, physical education facilities, relationship, and administrative services are essential and crucially important for Korean universities in order to attract foreign students and to enhance their competitiveness in the global setting.

  • One of the main problems of today's ubiquitous computing systems is that they do not meet their quality requirements. Prior studies had investigated quality factors that were important to users regardless of use contexts. However, mobile computing services such as mobile data services (MDS) are fundamentally different from traditional information systems (IS) because it has been used in various life contexts. We conducted a qualitative study to identify important quality factors on various contexts in MDS. The results show that important quality factors in mobile computing services are differentiated from important quality factors in information systems.

  • This paper aims to study the relationship of U-Traffic Service Quality and User Satisfaction. Independence variables is u-traffic service quality, and mediation parameters are publicity, usefulness and economic. Dependent variable is user satisfaction. Using SPSS 18.0, a series of factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis and path analysis have been performed. The conclusion is as follows. First, U-traffic service quality have a positive effect on user satisfaction directly. Second, U-traffic service quality have a positive effect on user satisfaction through mediation parameters of publicity, usefulness and economic. Third, service quality factor of the U-traffic service quality have more effect on user satisfaction than system quality factor. Last, usefulness among mediation parameters have the most positive effect on user satisfaction.

  • This study is a exploratory research to develop standard measurement for service quality of public libraries through extracting common factors for them. It suggests that service quality of public libraries can be divided into three primary dimensions interaction of personnel, library resources and programs, physical environment and facilities and each dimensions be several sub-dimensions. It also suggests a third-order factor mode for public libraries' service quality based on the above dimensions and testifies it through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis.

  • 기업환경변화와 고객의 욕구증대로 인해 품질의 중요성이 강조되는 상창에서 종합적 품질경영(TQM)의 개념을 도입하고자 하는 노력이 제조업 뿐 아니라 서비스 부문, 공공부문, 의료부문 등으로 확대되는 상황이다. 특히 교육품질에 연구가 선진국을 중심으로 활발히 이루어지고 있는데 무형적인 특성을 가진 교육의 품질특성들을 측정하고 이를 개선하기 위한 전략적 방안 등을 강구하고 있다. 따라서 TQM의 기본 개념을 알아보고 우리나라 대학교육에 대한 적용가능성을 타진해보기 위한 연구가 필요하다고 생각한다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 대학교육의 서비스 품질에 대한 구체적인 측정요인을 개발하는 것이다. 문헌조사를 통해 기존의 대학교육품질 측정문항들을 벤치마킹 하였으며 대학생 집단과 문항들을 검토하여 32개 문항을 확정하고 이를 224명의 대학생을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 요인분석을 실시하여 대학의 서비스 품질측정요인을 도출하였다.

A Study on Extraction of International Freight Forwarders' Service Quality Factors: the Case of South Korea (포워더의 서비스품질 요인의 도출에 관한 연구 - 한국의 사례 -)

  • The international freight forwarders in South Korea currently have fierce competition. However, there are still a very small number of studies Korea locally and globally on the service quality of international freight forwarding industry. This study aims to extract international freight forwarders' service quality factors reflecting the characteristics of freight forwarding industry. Measures of service quality have been selected after literature review and interviews, and then surveys have been conducted on exporters and importers in Korea. The collected data has been analyzed using the exploratory factor analysis. As a result, two service quality factors of international freight forwarders have been extracted: operation characteristics factor defined as accuracy, speediness timeliness and stability, and customer orientation factor defined as professionalism and empathy. An important contribution of this study is that it presents the service quality factors reflecting the characteristics of freight forwarding industry unlike precedent studies. A future research topic is to find out which of the two service quality factors influences more on customer loyalty.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 급변하고 있는 대학교육의 발전 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 교육을 서비스품질 관점에서 바라볼 때, 대학은 고객중심적인(학생중심적인) 서비스 품질 제공 노력이 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 대학교육서비스 품질개념의 틀을 기존의 이론을 통해서 도출하였다. 이를 통해서 대학발전방향의 요인들을 제시하고 고객(학생)이 자발적으로 행동하는 유발 서비스 차원을 제시하기로 한다. 이를 위해 동기부여의 이론에 대하여 고찰하기로 한다.

Convergence study of the in-flight meal quality on customer satisfaction, brand image and brand loyalty in airlines (항공사 기내식 서비스품질과 고객만족, 브랜드이미지, 브랜드충성도에 관한 융합연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the convergence of the in-flight meal quality, the customer satisfaction, the brand image and brand loyalty. A total of 170 questionnaires were finally used for the 'analysis of factors, analysis of reliance, analysis of corelation and multiple regression analysis.' We found out that the in-flight meal quality came up with the food factor, service factor and cleanliness factor. The results of the study are as follows; First, only the food factor and the service factor positively affected the customer satisfaction. Second, the food factor and the service factor positively affected the brand image. Third, the customer satisfaction positively affected the brand image and the brand loyalty. Lastly, the brand image positively affected the brand loyalty. According to this study, the in-flight meal quality, customer satisfaction, brand image and brand lo oyalty in the airline service are very important factors for a successful marketing strategy.

  • The purpose this study is to find out how cabin service quality influences customer value and relationship retention intention focus on upper-class seats customer in airline. In the result of the hypothesis verification, this study hypotheses concerning the effect relations between cabin service quality, customer value and relationship retention intention. Therefore this study needs to be studied the quality of cabin service of upper-class and service value. Based on the research findings airline cabin service department have to examine various customer needs with the development of items and services.

  • This study investigated general educational quality, satisfaction and loyalty related to dietary life among K university students in Busan. SPSS version 20.0 was employed to conduct various analyses, namely frequency, factor, reliability and regression. A number of results were discovered. First, factors of nutrition education quality (knowledge, interest, instructor) had a positive influence on satisfaction. Second, factors of satisfaction with nutrition education quality had a positive influence on loyalty. Third, the three factorsof nutrition education quality had a positive influence on loyalty. Of the the three nutrition education quality factors, the knowledge factor exhibited the strongest effect on satisfaction among, while the Interest factor had the strongest impacton loyalty. As a result, consideration must be given the factors that act on nutrition education quality.
