A Study on Development of Early Childhood Teacher's Guidance Efficacy Scale (유아교사의 생활지도 효능감 척도개발 연구)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to develop a measure of the Early Childhood Teacher's Guidance Efficacy Scale based on guidance and teacher-efficacy theory. Methods: This subjects were 243 teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Results: An exploratory factor analysis was conducted on the data collected of 4 factors, namely, guidance efficacy for problem behavior, children understanding, home-connected, basic life habits. In addition, there are significant positive correlations between the sub-area score and the overall in the early childhood teacher's guidance efficacy scale(r = .26 ~ .72, p < .001). Internal consistency and split-half reliability of each sub scale were reasonably accept. Conclusion/Implications: 'The guidance efficacy scale for early childhood teachers' developed in this study is an appropriate tool. Therefore, the developed scale can become a useful tool to measure the overall guidance efficacy level of early childhood teachers.

  • 본 논문에서는 우리가 사는 동네의 안전현황에 대하여 국민안전처가 제공하는 생활안전 지도서비스를 통해 혹시 모를 사고와 범죄 예방은 물론, 신속한 대응을 해야 하나, 각종 서비스는 부처별로 재난안전정보를 개별 분산적 관리한 탓에 국민에게 생활주변의 다양한 안전정보를 제공하지 못하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 이 연구에서는 현재 생활안전지도 서비스에 대한 실태를 살펴보고 비교분석하여 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 제7차 교육과정이 지향하는 바, 학교의 중요업무 중의 하나인 학생 생활지도를 더욱 효과적으로 실행하기 위한 새로운 방안을 찾아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 기업에서 고객관리 방법으로 시행하고 있는 CRM의 견지에서 학생 생활지도를 재조명하여 보았다. 그 결과 학생 생활지도에 CRM의 방법론을 적용할 때 필요한 종합정보관리시스템의 기능을 확인하였다.

A Survey on the Problems and Conditions of Educational Guidance and Counselling in the Gifted Education Programs (초중등 영재학급·교육원의 학생 생활지도 실태 및 과제 - 영재 담당교사들의 인식을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the problems and conditions of educational guidance and counselling of teachers in the gifted classes. For the study, 267 teachers were sampled from the Gifted Education Institutes of metropolitan and provincial offices of education and Gifted Classes of the school across Korea, and the questionnaire developed by the researchers were administered to them. The results of this study are as follows : First, the 82% of respondents reported that the guidance and counselling in the gifted education is needed. So it demands the active responsive strategies on it. Second, the respondents reported that the selfish or self-centered traits of the gifted students are the most problematic in the gifted classes. It shows the emphasis should be put on the basic life habits and moral education in the guidance and counselling of the gifted education. Third, they pointed out the case-based education is needed for the parents of the gifted to correct their misconceptions about their children. Fourth, to support the teachers of the gifted program, the administrative measures have to be taken, like operation of character education program, forming a consultative group with the experienced teachers, developing the case-based guideline for the guidance and counselling for the gifted education, etc. Fifth, we should develop the Korean model of the gifted education to promote social capital for our future society.

  • Diverse methods of life guidance adopted by the teacher's subjective standards including corporal punishment have inherent problems. Some schools have introduced and exercised the merit and demerit system, which uses merits and demerits to guide the children for desirable life habits and etiquette. And most of them are done off-line and thus have difficulties with real time reference, statistical process, filling out logs, and management. The merit and demerit management system(MDMS) was developed to support the process, statistics, reference, and authority features as well as card issuing. It also promotes life guidance, personality education, participation of the parents, and further desirable cooperation among the teachers, students, and parents. The system has lots of advantages such as reducing resistance from the students against life guidance rules, enabling the students to check their life guidance status at school, allowing the parents to check how their children are doing at school, increasing efficiency of data management, and taking some burden off the shoulders of the teachers doing statistics. MDMS helps the teachers base corporal punishment on the guidance rules, deter direct punishment on certain body parts, and pursue more systematic, scientific, and human life guidance.

  • 어린이의 생활은 놀이의 생활이라고 말할 정도로 대부분의 시간을 놀이를 하고 있다고 할 수있다. 놀이란 어린이의 생활에 정상적으로 따르는 것이며 어린이는 놀이를 통하여 모든면의 성장발달이 이루어지고 있다. 즉 놀이는 어린이의 성장발달에 매우 중요한 것이다. 어린이를 접하고 다루게 되는 어른들은 어린이의 놀이에 관한 충분한 지식을 가지고 잘 지도하여 어린이의 건전한 발달에 공헌하여야 한다. 본 논문은 학령전 어린이의 놀이를 중심으로 하여 놀이의 중요성과 성장발달에 미치는 영향을 보았고 어린이들이 주로 하고 있는 놀이의 일반적인 발달단계와 여러놀이를 위한 어른들의 지도를 다루었다. 어린이를 기르고 있는 부모들 어린이를 지도하는 교사들 또 앞으로 부모가 될 사람들에게 다소나마 도움이 되고자 한다.

  • 현정부 들어 "범죄로부터 안전한 사회구현", "재난재해 예방 및 체계적 관리" 등이 주요 국정과제 현안으로 추진되고 있으며 국가적 차원에서 국민의 안전을 위한 정책 및 생활안전에 대한 대국민 서비스 마련이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 각 부처 기관별로 개별적으로 관리되고 있는 재난 및 안전사고 관련 정보를 통합하여 GIS DB를 구축하고 이를 기반으로 국가 안전정책 개발 및 대국민 서비스를 위한 생활안전지도 서비스 구축현황과 이에 대한 문제점을 분석하고 대국민 관점에서 생활안전지도 활성화 방안을 마련하였다.

An Analysis of the Difficulties Faced by New Science Teachers in Secondary Schools (중등과학 초임교사가 교직수행과정에서 겪는 어려움 분석)

  • This study aimed to identify the difficulties that new science teachers in secondary schools experience. Subjects for this study were 190 science teachers attending qualifying training for 1st degree of teaching certificate. Using an open questionnaire, the difficulties these teachers encounter were collected, categorized, and compared between their first year and their succeeding years of teaching in terms of their school level, gender, majors and regions. Results showed that first year science teachers have had difficulties in areas including subject teaching, guidance, administrative affairs, human relationship and self-understanding. On their succeeding years, difficulties about subject teaching were reduced to half while other difficulties remained. New teachers in middle schools have experienced the most number of difficulties about guidance, while new teachers in general high schools have experienced the most number of difficulties about subject teaching. Based on these findings, some recommendations were proposed for new science teachers in secondary schools, school administrators, and training institutions.

  • This study was to examine the influence of instructor's attractiveness recognized by participants in community sports on instructing effectiveness and adherence. In this research, 228 participants who participate in community sports in Seoul and Gyeonggido were collected and the collected data was analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 version. The results are as follows. First, the attractiveness of instructors recognized by participants in community sports has influence on the instructing effectiveness. Second, the attractiveness of instructors recognized by participants in community sports affects the adherence of participants. Third, the instructing effectiveness has an effect on the adherence of participants in community sports.
