Recent studies report that in terms of object memory, survival context has mnemonic advantage over other context conditions (e.g., Nairne et al, 2007). The present experiments explored whether this effect can also affect task-irreverent object location memory, and tested whether the context can change gender difference in object location memory. Participants were asked to rate the relevance of pictures presented at random locations (experiment 1) or words (experiment 2) under survival context or moving context. After rating the pictures or words, they answered recall test and location retrieval test. The results revealed higher accuracy in memory for objects encoded under survival context. Moreover, survival processing enhanced location memory, and the survival advantage in location memory emerged among woman.

This article aims for searching the clue of North Korea nuke-problem by understanding it contextually. We must see this from the beginning as many trials in settling the problem have failed. North Korea nuke-problem is related to the change of international implication as well as the domestic process of its development. At first, it started from the regime survival, which evolved with the effect of learning. During the Cold War, its development had combined the principle of 'self-defense' because of Sino-Russia conflict. Particularly, its meaning varied dramatically due to the collapse of Cold War system plus the advent of post-Cold War system. North Korea nuclear program has became a global problem based on the deterioration of North Korea's security milieu and Bush administration's policy. Therefore, the area of common solution for NK nuke-problem must be found in the context of regime survival and the change of its meaning by continual convergence effort.

In response to the recent rapid technological and market changes, the importance of the design of ambidextrous organization has been increasingly emphasized as one of the dynamic capabilities. Firms that show a high performance in the rapid technological and market changes appear to design and implement ambidextrous organization successfully. They have achieved both exploitative competence for continuous innovation with product development and exploratory competence for discontinuous innovation with new market and new technologies. We have examined why and how to design and operate ambidextrous organizations and the effects of ambidextrous organizational characteristics on the performance from structural, contextual and leadership perspectives. We conducted case studies on 3 Korean firms that showed different characteristics of industrial product, company size, etc. Longitudinal case studies exhibit different processes of design and operating ambidextrous organization according to innovative strategy and industrial characteristics.

본 연구는 디지털 트랜스포메이션 맥락에서 기업의 경쟁우위와 생존을 도모하기 위해 양손잡이 역량의 다양한 차원을 구현하고 기업수준의 혁신에 기여하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 디지털 기술의 이니셔티브인 디지털 기술 역량이 조직의 다차원(균형적, 결합된 차원)적 양손잡이 역량에 미치는 관계에서, 변환관리의 핵심 역량인 디지털 리더십 역량의 상세요인들(디지털 비전, 디지털 HR 스킬, 디지털 거버넌스, 협력방식)이 갖는 매개효과를 중심으로 검증하였다. 연구의 진행을 위해 국내 제조업과 ICT & 통신업에 종사하는 250명의 중소기업 관리자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 데이터를 활용하였으며, 연구방법으로는 R을 GUI 방식으로 구현한 오픈소스 통계 툴(Tool)인 Jamovi 2.3.26의 응용프로그램을 사용하여 회귀분석을 실시한다. 본 연구는, 디지털 트랜스포메이션 맥락에서 조직 내 긴장을 관리하고 갈등을 해소하는 다차원 양손잡이 역량에 대한 운영방안과 리더십의 역할에 대한 기존지식의 범위를 확장하며, 조직이 속한 산업 환경과 처한 성황에 따라 적절한 양손잡이 역량과 리더십 역량을 사용할 수 있는 최적화된 방안을 제시한다. 또한 디지털 트랜스포메이션 맥락에서 조직이 양손잡이 역량을 도입하고자 할 때, 기술적 이니셔티브에 대한 투자도 물론 중요하지만, 리더십 역량이 가지는 세부요인 의한 양손잡이 역량을 달성함으로써, 더욱 효과적인 디지털 트랜스포메이션을 달성할 수 있다는 기여를 제공할 예정이다

While this paper will be of interest to Convergence of Knowledge and Border Thinking, one of my main concerns has been to open the world of mind. Because the convergence of knowledge and border thinking are closely related to the problems of mind. It should be clear from this procedure that the scope of this study is limited. It is not intended to be a definitive account of all problems of mind, bur rather a clear and thorough account of that segment of mind that pertains to an analysis of convergence of knowledge and border thinking. This claim, with their supporting arguments, will be discussed as follow; 1. What our knowledge has been for? 2. Knowledge and convergence of knowledge 3. How is the convergence of knowledge made up? 1) meeting at border 2) mind as a border 3) converging at mind.

국내 MP3플레이어 시장에서 애플과 토종업체간 진검 승부가 한창이다. MP3 플레이어 시장에서 미국의 애플사와 국내 토종기업들이 격전을 벌이고 있다. 국내에선 잇단 가격인하 조치로 출혈경쟁이 극성이고, 최근에는 하드디스크(HDD)형 신제품 출시가 봇물을 이루면서 업체간 생존경쟁이 불꽃을 튀기고 있다. 이에 따라 기존 업체들은 갈수록 치열해지는 국내 시장보다는 세계무대로 눈을 돌리고 있다. 레인콤과 삼성전자, 거원시스템 등이 최근 앞다퉈 해외시장 공략을 선언하고 독주 체제를 갖춘 애플의 아성에 도전장을 내민 것도 같은 맥락이다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the ethnic phenomenon in the multi-layered context, based upon data collected from my fieldwork in Asella Town, Ethiopia. The town has experienced few ethnic conflicts at the collective level because of ecological conditions, the numerical balance between the two major ethnic groups-i.e., the Oromo and the Amhara-, frequent ethnic intermarriages as well as effects of a unique sociocultural practice of 'breast-feeding.' However, despite positive influences of such a practice, the local community has continuously witnessed discrimination and threats by the dominant ethnic group. Most of my informants feel that ethnic intermarriage contributes to: (i) enforcement of bonds among both ethic groups and community members, (ii) acquisition of different ethnic cultures, (iii) cultivation of the spirit of tolerance among people, and (iv) production of the superior second generation that has hybrid/multiple ethnic identities. However, some informants harbor negative attitudes towards ethnic intermarriage because they perceive it as a selfish choice of two parties and damages ethnic identity. Most informants consider ongoing Oromonization as natural, whereas others insist that it should be understood in the context of coercion, superficiality and survival strategy.

The purpose of this study is to learn about the meaning and factors of gambling in one's life. Thus, it is to develop contents that help gamblers improve their quality of life by broadening their understanding of gambling. To this end, data from women who had experienced gambling and also quit gambling were collected and analyzed. What are the factors that deter gambling and gambling and what is the dynamics that lead to life? The research approach is a technical case study. The story and context of her life were in mind. The results of the matrix analysis were derived from 15 subcategories and 8 upper categories. The result was to adapt and cope within the mental and economic deficits and to survive survival. The researcher suggested that content development is necessary. It is necessary to develop counseling contents that can heal their pain, stress, and heartache and to help one parent's family's economic survival. It also suggested that the development of capacity-enhancing contents such as technical training to cope with social structural changes is necessary.

정보기술의 관점에서, 기업 가치사슬상의 내/외부적 협력을 협력을 구현하는 방법으로ASP(Application Service Provider)를 통한 IT 아웃소싱(outsourcing)이 차세대 가상기업의 핵심 요소가 될 것으로 전망된다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 ASP 의 서비스 제공에 관한 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법으로, HoQ와 AHP를 통합한 방법론을 제공한다. 그리고 이러한 통합모형을 적용하여 고객만족의 관점에서 ASP 서비스 개선을 위한 핵심 기능요소(functional elements)를 찾아 내었다. ASP 서비스의 지속적인 개선은 점차 심화되어 가는 경쟁에서 생존하기 위해 최우선적으로 중요한데, 본 연구의 HoQ/AHP 통합모형은 서비스 개선을 전략적으로 구현하는 좋은 도구가 될 것이다.
